...........In the most bald-faced lie I have ever read in The New York Times -- which is saying something -- that paper implied Loughner is a pro-life zealot. This is the precise opposite of the truth.
Only because numerous other news outlets, including ABC News and The Associated Press, reported the exact same shocking incident in much greater detail -- and with direct quotes -- do we know that the Times' rendition was complete bunk.
ABC News reported: "One Pima Community College student, who had a poetry class with Loughner later in his college career, said he would often act 'wildly inappropriate.'
"'One day (Loughner) started making comments about terrorism and laughing about killing the baby,' classmate Don Coorough told ABC News, referring to a discussion about abortions. 'The rest of us were looking at him in shock ... I thought this young man was troubled.'
"Another classmate, Lydian Ali, recalled the incident as well.
"'A girl had written a poem about an abortion. It was very emotional and she was teary eyed and he said something about strapping a bomb to the fetus and making a baby bomber,' Ali said."
Here's the Times' version: "After another student read a poem about getting an abortion, Mr. Loughner compared the young woman to a 'terrorist for killing the baby.'"
So that's how the Times transformed Loughner from a sicko laughing about a dead fetus to a deadly earnest pro-life fanatic. (Never believe a news story written by Eric Lipton, Charlie Savage or Scott Shane of The New York Times -- or for simplicity, anything in the Times.)
I wouldn't have mentioned Loughner's far-left world view immediately after a tragedy like this, but now that liberals have opened the door by blaming Loughner's politics, they better brace themselves.
And when I say "brace themselves," I don't mean they need to actually strap themselves into a brace. That's a metaphor, Chris.

Boycott the following: The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters

The Bay, the once proud pillar of Canada is today a shameful edifice of cowardice. What the The Bay has done hurts the most. To me, and to a great number of Canadians.... we thought The Hudson Bay Company (HBC) stood for Canadian values. How wrong we have been proven to be !! They have let politics play nasty games within their BOD and within their Customer Services dept.
Why does The Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters deserve our boycott.
This is why:
They have removed AHAVA products from their shelves in a boycott against Israel.
Cut up the HBC credit card you might have into tiny little bits. I took great pleasure in doing so to my HBC card today and I have vowed never to step into The Bay ever again.
Everything that The Bay, or Zellers or Home Outfitters have on offer.... you will be able to find at SEARS. In fact, if you visit the SEARS outlet stores (I think there are 3 in Toronto) or the one at Fairview Mall in Toronto, you will be amazed at the kind of deals you can get which are a good 10-30% below what The Bay offers. Check out their Perfume Dept and you will see what I mean.
If SEARS also succumbs to the blackmail of boycotting Israeli products.... than boycott them too. There are plenty of other stores to choose from or better still, order online directly from the manufactuers.
Here's a letter that was sent to The Hudson Bay Company by an enraged customer and which I have taken the liberty to post minus the sender's name.
Dear Madam and Gentlemen:
I am outraged to hear that The Bay in Toronto has removed Ahava products from its store, apparently in response to a boycott" organized by "Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East".
If this is true, it is a travesty, not only from a moral standpoint, but also from a legal standpoint.
Morally, such an act would be based on false information. Not only that, but it would be inappropriate for The Bay to participate in an activity that is aimed at the State of Israel, which has bilateral relations with Canada and the Province of Ontario and is a country with which the Federal and Provincial governments wish to increase trade at every level. I cannot imagine The Bay taking a contrary position - and at the behest of an organization which is dispensing lies and false propaganda. In addition, Ms. Brooks is an honouree of Israel Cancer Research Fund on May 3 at the Four Seasons Hotel. What a very strange situation such a dichotomy would be!
Legally, it is my understanding that you have received communications from that organization, or its members, threatening to boycott The Bay, unless Ahava products are removed. If that is so, it is in breach of the Ontario Discriminatory Business Practices Act.
In addition, under subsection 5(8) of that Act, if you have received such a request, you are obliged to report it to the Director, appointed under that Act, within 30 days. If you require details of the Director and his address, I shall be happy to provide information.
All in all, I strongly suggest that if the products have been removed, they be returned to your store(s) and be available for sale.

Although this decision was made by HBC solely for commercial reasons, it occurred at the same time as an aggressive campaign by several groups advocating a boycott of AHAVA products. Demographic time bomb .... but nothing to worry about, nothing to fear.....

Europe's low white birth rate, coupled with faster multiplying migrants, will change fundamentally what we take to mean by European culture and society. The altered population mix has far-reaching implications for education, housing, welfare, labour, the arts and everything in between. It could have a critical impact on foreign policy: a study was submitted to the US Air Force on how America's relationship with Europe might evolve. Yet EU officials admit that these issues are not receiving the attention they deserve.....

In 2004, Mohammed, an amateur cricketer in the Ribblesdale league, took a schoolgirl to a Manchester hotel room and got her drunk – to celebrate, he said, her 14th birthday. The child ran away. Police were called, but he denied having sex with her and they issued him with a “child abduction warning letter”. He was never prosecuted.
Two years later, Mohammed took another 14-year-old to a hotel room, this time in Blackpool – and this time he raped her. When the police came for him, they found the numbers of six other vulnerable youngsters on his mobile phone.
In industrial towns across the North and the Midlands, over the past three years, at least 51 people have been convicted in trials involving groups of men who have picked up young girls for sexual exploitation. Forty-eight of the offenders were Asian; the vast majority of the victims were white. Last week, in Derby, nine men, eight of them Asian, were sentenced for their parts in a gang that groomed, sexually exploited and in some cases raped 27 local children, 22 of them white. .......

The man who has listed Hitler's book as one of his favorites, gunned down the first Jewish Democractic Rep. in Arizona. Hmmmmm.... makes one think, doesn't it?
The Right Scoop (also in my blogroll) has been keeping track of all the leftie loonies in the media and elsewhere, who started blaming the Right, some of them even before the Congresswoman went under the surgeon's knife at the hospital.
Another sad thing about this whole horrendous event, at least where I am concerned, is that it is so disappointing that Sarah Palin proved herself to be a scaredy cat by scrubbing a strategy map on her blog which was showing the targetted seats all over the USA that the Tea Partiers were after, and Congresswoman Giffords' seat was one of them. Palin did not have to do that, such maps are generic and used by all, even marketing companies and anybody in any kind of a sales related job knows what such maps and the terminology that goes with them, actually mean.
The person who advised Palin to scrub her blog wasn't thinking straight and both Palin and her advisor proved that they can get panicky just because of the Left's crazy, stupid accusations. Not a good trait to have for a "definite" future leader of the strongest country on earth. Hopefully, she will learn from this episode, and always stand by what she says, does or write and make her case outwards from such. In the age of the internet, once something is out there in cyberspace, it's there. You can always find a search engine that will do your biding for you even if the usual big names don't.
Look, even the Democrats use the same maps to "target" their opponents. Everybody does.

The guys at HillBuzz has the best coverage I have seen so far. They and their readers have managed to find all the "scrubbed" pieces that Daily Kos and HuffPost scrambled post-haste to hide.
Also, Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs and Michelle Malkin (both found in my blogroll on the right) have lots of coverage. There's something that Pam Geller said that seem to make a good point. The man who has listed Hitler's book as one of his favorites, gunned down the first Jewish Democractic Rep. in Arizona. Hmmmmm.... makes one think, doesn't it?
The Right Scoop (also in my blogroll) has been keeping track of all the leftie loonies in the media and elsewhere, who started blaming the Right, some of them even before the Congresswoman went under the surgeon's knife at the hospital.
Another sad thing about this whole horrendous event, at least where I am concerned, is that it is so disappointing that Sarah Palin proved herself to be a scaredy cat by scrubbing a strategy map on her blog which was showing the targetted seats all over the USA that the Tea Partiers were after, and Congresswoman Giffords' seat was one of them. Palin did not have to do that, such maps are generic and used by all, even marketing companies and anybody in any kind of a sales related job knows what such maps and the terminology that goes with them, actually mean.
The person who advised Palin to scrub her blog wasn't thinking straight and both Palin and her advisor proved that they can get panicky just because of the Left's crazy, stupid accusations. Not a good trait to have for a "definite" future leader of the strongest country on earth. Hopefully, she will learn from this episode, and always stand by what she says, does or write and make her case outwards from such. In the age of the internet, once something is out there in cyberspace, it's there. You can always find a search engine that will do your biding for you even if the usual big names don't.
Look, even the Democrats use the same maps to "target" their opponents. Everybody does.

Peto should have let the Sudanese migrants and the Eritreans and all the moslem gays who escape to Israel, know how very racist Israel's policies were before those poor, desperate asylum seekers and refugees set on their way to Israel to escape the sweetness of Peto's moslem friends in the surrounding areas.

Birther has her say and ....
that too right in the middle of the reading of The Constitution of the United States being read in the House. When the reader came to the section where the Constitution says the Presidents of the US should be "natural born citizens".... that's when the birther shouted "except for Obama" or something along those lines.
It's not about where Obama was born, it's about where his father came from, and whether he was an American citizen at the time of Obama's birth. Birthers claim that the father never became a citizen of the USA.

Letter from an American Coptic Christian to President Obama
This letter was sent to the US Prez just before Christmas day, 2010. What the writer feared would happen, most certainly did. More horrors as envisioned by the writer as are envisioned by those of us who don't have our heads buried deep into the sand.
I am writing to you as Coptic Christian who immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s.
I am an American citizen.
I have grave concerns about what is going in Egypt regarding the Copts.
To put it bluntly, I fear that something very bad is going to happen to this community in the very near future.
Coptic Christians have been the victims of systematic abuse and oppression in Egypt for a long time. On November 17, 2010, the U.S. Department of State recently issued a report on religious freedom in Egypt that details the abuses they suffer on a daily basis. January of this year, six Coptic Christians were murdered outside their church after celebrating Christmas.
Sadly, I fear another attack will happen again sometime in the near future.
The tendency of blaming the State of Israel for every problem in Egypt, and linking it to the Copts, is on the rise, especially in the past a few months. By associating the Copts with the Jewish state, extremists and government officials are inciting hostility toward a beleaguered, defenseless minority.
The anti-Israel polemic is fairly well known. One official accused recent shark and jellyfish for attacks on swimmers at Sharm el-Sheikh on the Mossad. The aalleged goal was to kill the tourism season.
What is less well known is that Muslim Imams throughout the Middle East are demonizing Coptic Christians in Egypt. One oft-repeated claim is that Israel is using Coptic churches to store all kinds of weapons to attack Muslims. Such accusations lead to threats of violence.
For example, Sheik Wagdi Ghoneim recently said in a video message from the State of Qatar “I swear by God, you will not have time stay alive until America and the West arrive, this is for your own good, if you understand. Do you think the Muslims inside Egypt will say thank you and may Allah give you health? “No, by God.”
And on September 16, 2010 Mr., Muhammad Salim Al-Awa, Secretary-General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars announced on Al-Jazeera TV (Qatar): Copts Amass Weapons in Egyptian Churches and Are “Preparing for War against the Muslims”.
Copts are even being blamed for the violence perpetrated against them by Muslim extremists in Egypt. For example, after a mob of 5,000 Egyptians recently attacked a Christian service building, President’s Mubarak former assistant, Dr. Mustafa El- Feki from Ain Shams University stated that Israel and the Copts were at fault for the attack and the two deaths that resulted from it. Dr. El Feki stated that Israel was behind the subsequent protests: “”It is almost certain that the Mossad is involved in these events. The State is dealing with dangerous events that could not have succeeded without external intervention with Israel at its head.”.................
