The Confederate Flag insanity OR are Americans no better than the barbarians destroying the historical past of the once Christian, Buddhist and Communist countries?


History is History .... and only the extremely stupid or totally uneducated will want to erase even a sentence from what's written about the past, no matter whether the deeds of the past were good or evil.
 
IMO, even Nazi symbols should not be banned. They should rightly incite our criticism and revulsion but not our calls to ban them.  The "bad" deeds of the past which were not considered to be "bad" at those times, should serve as history lessons for the deeds of today and make us wonder if future societies of planet Earth might look on our present day "normalcy" as wholly unacceptable to them. For example, the  LGBTs are considered a normal factor of life in most societies of our present day world.  How would you like it if  you looked into the future and saw their rainbow flags and they themselves being ostracized?   Think people, THINK for goodness sake!!!!

Foolish Americans think that getting rid of the Confederate flag will diminish racism.  Nitwit Larry King has lived for far too long!  There are too many stupid Americans who think exactly like him.

Not that I don't agree with a lot this hippie pope has to say, but there are some real weird opinions that no matter how broadminded one wants to be, simply does not hold water. AND, he's so wrong about the jihadi faith.
Furthermore, I hate it when the clergy talks to the faithful like they are 2-yr olds.

Until this moment, the main reason why everyone mostly dismissed Europe's sanctions against Russia is that despite all its pompous rhetoric, Europe consistently refused to hit Russia where it would hurt: its energy titans Gazprom, Rosneft And Transfneft. The reason is simple: by imposing sanctions on these core energy exporters, Europe would directly threaten the stability of its own energy imports (Russia accounts for up to 30% of German gas imports), and as winter approaches with every passing day, playing with the energy status quo would seem like economic suicide. This all appears to have changed last Friday, when as the FT reports from a leaked copy, Europe's latest sanctions round will boldly go where Europe has never dared to go before, and impose sanctions on the big three: Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Transneft.

 This is what is known in game theory terms as a major defection round.

 It also means that suddenly the stakes for Russia, and thus Europe, just got all too real, as Putin will now have no choice but to really ramp up the retaliatory escalation, which following the food ban can only mean one thing: a staggered reduction in gas flow to Europe.

 It also means something else: recall that it was just ten days ago when we reported that Gazprom would begins accepting payment for oil in Ruble and Yuan.

 If today's news is confirmed, Europe's dramatic shift in sanctions strategy means that Europe's embargo of both the US Dollar and the Euro will accelerate as Russia further intensifies its shift away from both the west and the petrodollar. The only and clear winner here: China, which will almost certainly step in to provide the funding Russia needs however on Beijing's terms in effect making the symbiotic link between Russia and China even stronger, forcing Moscow to rely almost exclusively on China for trade and funding relations, and suddenly give Xi Jinping all the trump cards.............

....The governor of China's restive far western region of Xinjiang wrote on Monday that Islamist militants were trying to ban laughter at weddings and crying at funerals, as he appealed to people to stamp out the "tumor" of extremism.

Xinjiang, resource-rich and strategically located on the borders of central Asia, has been beset by violence for years, blamed by the government on Islamist militants and separatists.

 Exiles and many rights groups say the real cause of the unrest is China's heavy-handed policies, including curbs on Islam and the culture and language of the Muslim Uighur people who call Xinjiang home.

 China's nervousness about Islamist extremism has grown since a car burst into flames on the edge of Beijing's Tiananmen Square in October, and 29 people were stabbed to death last month in the southwestern city of Kunming.

 Beijing blamed Xinjiang militants for both.....

The corporate media in the United States identify the armed men as Russian soldiers, although it was reported on Thursday they “were wearing uniforms without any insignia, refused to talk to journalists, and it was not immediately clear who they were,” according to ABC News.
Ukraine’s scandal plagued speaker of Parliament, Oleksandr V. Turchynov, who is now the acting president of Ukraine, convened a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council to discuss the situation in Crimea. “Terrorists with automatic weapons, judged by our special services to be professional soldiers, tried to take control of the airport in Crimea,” he said.
Arsen Avakov, the newly installed interior minister and member of Yulia Tymoshenko’s Batkivshchyna party, said the incidents in Crimea amount to “military invasion and occupation.”
“It is a direct provocation of armed bloodshed in the territory of a sovereign State,” he wrote on Facebook.
In response to the activity by unidentified forces in the Crimea, the coup government in Kyiv demands the United States live up to an agreement signed in 1994.
The Budapest Memorandum was signed by Bill Clinton, John Major, Boris Yeltsin and Leonid Kuchma. It promises to uphold the territorial integrity of Ukraine in exchange for the former Soviet republic relinquishing its nuclear weapons..............

 The pastor of the church, James David Manning, has been very critical of President Obama, calling him “The Long Legged Mack Daddy” and often blaming him for the destruction of the black family, the Village Voice reported.

 “This homosexual demon hoping to enforce as many black males to subscribe to ideas …, ” he said during a sermon the church posted on YouTube Tuesday. “So we have the outing of people like Jason Collins, who is an alleged basketball player, and Michael Sam, a football player. Two blacks that have come out of the closet and have received national acclaim from Obama, from Michelle ‘the fistbumper’ Obama, from Oprah Winfrey, from all black people encouraging more black men to come out of the closet.”

 “You’ll have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male,” Mr. Manning continued. “He’s usually got money. The white homo usually has an American Express card. I am beginning to feel sorry for the Toronto Star ....


their desperation makes my heart bleed and I always bleed for the underdog. That's what the Toronto Star has become ... the underdog of print media in Canada.   None of their ploys have worked so far but will they stop and desist?The Star just does not know when to call it a day and raise the white flag. They are defeated but just won't lay themselves down and die with dignity.  

 Now, the utter misery and desperation that the yellow rag is going through is manifested by the move made by one of the newspaper's "journalists"  ....  some Daniel Dale by name, who has filed a suit against the mayor for making "defamatory remarks" about his good wholesome person. Can't say I remember reading or hearing about him ever. Anyway, all expenses the good wholesome Mr.Daniel Dale might incur by way of legal costs, etc.  will be met by his generous employer, the Toronto Star.  Nice eh?!  He also says the below in the article he wrote about the suit:  That last sentence therein puzzles me a bit.  What does that mean?  Is this another "any which way to humiliate" the mayor?  "Join us or else" kind of thing?  Makes one wonder what's the mental age of these "reporters" at the Toronto Star? You can read his childish article in full at the second link below and also take a peek at his sweet wholesome looking face.

 Toronto Star reporter Daniel Dale has served Mayor Rob Ford with a libel notice over comments the mayor made during a televised interview earlier this week.
Mr. Dale published a statement Thursday   saying he served the notice against both the mayor and Vision TV – which aired the broadcast – as the first step of a defamation lawsuit. He’s asking the mayor to retract the “false insinuation that I am a pedophile,” the statement said.
“It had become clear to me that, if I had done nothing, the mayor would make his smears some sort of political talking point,” Mr. Dale wrote. “His comments to [Conrad] Black were no one-time slip; they seemed to be the first shots in a bewildering campaign against my good name.”

 Star editor Michael Cooke told The Globe Thursday that the newspaper’s lawyers are at City Hall, serving the mayor. A process server delivered the legal document to the mayor inside his office about 5:30 p.m. The lawyer for Mr. Dale, Iris Fischer, said Mr. Dale now has six weeks to serve a statement of claim.

 Mr. Cooke said the reporter has the full support of the Star – including with legal costs – in suing the mayor.

 During the Monday night interview with Conrad Black that aired on Vision TV, Mr. Ford described a May, 2012, incident where he confronted Mr. Dale in a public space behind the mayor’s house.

 “He’s taking photos of little kids,” Mr. Ford told Mr. Black in the interview. “I don’t want to say that word, but you start thinking ‘What’s this guy all about?’ ” On Tuesday, when urged by councillors to apologize for the comments, Mayor Ford told reporters he stood by his remarks.

 But Mr. Dale called the mayor’s account of events “categorically false.”...............

There will come a day soon when prospective parents will be screened for mental illness ....


before they are issued a license to breed kids. "License to Conceive" is in our future.  It will be another way for the government to control us, but as we find more and more crazies in charge of children, many of us might welcome the government restrictions.   Who knows, maybe such a law might even do away with abortions because human nature usually craves what the government prevents you from having.

A New Hampshire woman has been sentenced  to nine to 30 years in state prison after pleading guilty to subjecting her 18-year-old son to beatings and other physical abuse.

 Christine Gelineau of Concord reached an agreement with prosecutors, pleading guilty Thursday to first-degree assault and witness tampering.

 The Concord Monitor reports assistant county prosecutor George Waldron said the teenager suffered permanent nerve damage in his penis when the 53-year-old Gelineau burned it with a lighter in April.
Gelineau is also accused of burning her son’s nipples completely off, stabbing him with a pen and forcing him to eat worms.

 “He was also told that if he did not eat some worms that were provided to him that they were going to burn his penis. He did in fact eat the worms,” prosecutor Tracy Connolly said........

Brain dead socialists refuse to believe that there's a silent majority out there that does not and never will agree with their hare-brained ideas and logic. Where does the silent majority go for relief from opinions as put out there by nutjobs on the MSNBC, CNN and other networks in Obama's back pocket?  Fox News, of course. Is that too difficult to process?

And he wants an investigation.
"Monday we had a really good day in the key demographic. On the night that Fox News debuted their three shows, we either tied or beat them in those hours," Griffin said at a briefing, according to TVNewser.
"Tuesday -- you guys should be doing some investigations; I have never seen it in all my years of cable -- same overnight, same everything. And they doubled their ratings in a day? It is impossible." Griffin continued, "I have never seen it. They did election-night numbers in the demo Tuesday."......

Our mad, mad, mad, crazy world


Man on a crowded train in San Francisco shoots and kills randomly an university student. Before he shot the student, the nut pulled out his gun several times, pointed at different people and probably even played tic-tac-toe with the gun .... but not one single person noticed what he was doing because they were busy texting, on their smartphones or at their laptops.

 ..........Nikhom Thephakaysone, 30, has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder in the Sept. 23 attack on Justin Valdez, 20, a student at San Francisco State University who was shot in the back of the head as he left the train.
Thephakaysone also has been charged with assault with a semi-automatic handgun. Prosecutors said he stuck a handgun in another man's back earlier the same night he shot Valdez as he looked for a victim.
He did not pull the trigger and went on the hunt again for a victim for more than an hour, at one point waving a gun outside a Thai restaurant, Assistant District Attorney Scot Clark has said............

The two Allahu Akbars ... one of the mad Shiites and the other of the madder Sunnis

Persecution and killing of Shiites is not enough in Bahrain (our NATO ally, don't forget) they even destroy the Shiites' mosques. Go figure!  You didn't know there were two kinds of  Allahu Akbars did you?  One Allahu Akbar resides in the Shiites' mosque and that Allahu Akbar is looked upon as an evil one by the Sunnis and so the Sunnis try to kill that monster and destroy his residence,  AND then there's another Allahu Akbar who resides in the Sunni mosques, and that guy is looked upon as  evil by the Shiites and so the Shiites want to bomb that abomination and his abode into nothingness.  
Logical conclusion:  Both Allahu Akbars are evil and both the Muslim sects know it.  
YAY for us infidels!  
Let the madness continue with our fervent blessings !!!

 ....Bahrain Al Khalifa Regime Destroys Another Shiite Mosque.  Bahraini security forces have destroyed Sheikh Fadhel al-Asfari Mosque in Bilad al-Qadeem suburb of the capital Manama.


Saudi-backed security forces in Bahrain demolished the mosque in a wave of attacks on mosques and holy places in and around Manama.

 They also targeted Imam Baqer Mosque in Barbura, Imam Sadeq Mosque in Salmabad, Sheikh Hamad Mosque in Maqsha and Imam Mojtaba Mosque in Sanabis and shot teargas towards worshippers.

 Anti-regime Bahraini protestors staged over 190 protests across the country in past five days and some 25 civilians, including three kids, have been arrested.

 The regime forces attacked 98 houses in the late hours of recent nights, al-Wefaq National Islamic Society said in a statement....

China arrests nuts claiming end of world on December 21


News these days is getting weirder and weirder.

 If the end of the world does indeed happen   on December 21, some of the people predicting it will meet it in a prison cell: Chinese authorities have arrested more than 500 members of a doomsday cult in a nationwide crackdown.

 The underground group ‘Almighty God’ – which unofficial sources claim may have several hundred thousand members – held unsanctioned meetings for its followers, distributed warning leaflets and spread doomsday predictions through social media and text messages.

"Dec. 21 is approaching, and on that day half of the world's good people will die, and all evil people will die out — only if you join the Almighty God movement can you avoid death and be saved," reads a handout found in Shaoxing, in eastern China.

 Violent clashes between police and dozens of Almighty God members in several provinces has been reported.

 A man who stabbed 23 children in Henan province last Friday claimed he was motivated by rumors that the end of the world was coming, though it is not clear if he was exposed to the teachings of Almighty God, authorities said.

 The sect, sometimes known as Eastern Lightning, claims to be an offshoot of Christianity, but would be barely recognizable to Western Christians. Founded in the late 1980s, it states that Jesus has been resurrected as a Chinese woman.....

And in other news ... a woman touching a manatee is arrested.


If  I didn't know it was a crime,  I would have done the same.  Oh, those brave police!  How diligent they all are when it comes to arresting certain kind of "criminals" compared to another kind that really needs to be put away !

Florida police arrested a woman Saturday who had been photographed riding a manatee – a violation of the state’s Manatee Sanctuary Act, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

 Ana Gloria Garcia Gutierrez, 53, was arrested at the Sears store where she worked. She came forward in October to admit that she was the woman in the photographs, wearing a white cap, red shorts and a black bikini top as she tried to climb atop a manatee in Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas, Fla.

 Garcia Gutierrez told authorities that she was new to the area and didn’t know that touching a manatee – also known as a sea cow – was against the law.....

Useless Nitwits and their agenda for gun control


George Soros is of course in the thick of it.

I think the vid below was made before the Conservative govt came to power in Canada.  According to the vid, the country at the forefront  for gun control is Canada.  I don't think so.  The lefties can scream and froth  and keep rolling all over the floor in fits, but it's not gonna happen.  The wise thing would be to get out of the UN right now so nothing they do and say will affect us any further.



This is IANSA where they are overly active to take away our rights to defend ourselves.
