With WWIII having started in earnest in late February, 2026, I just don't have the mojo to continue with this blog. Have also cut down on my overall internet usage and visiting social media platforms. I had already gone back to the old days and old habits of reading books and watching movies in my spare time, after the start of the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza in late 2023. Witnessing the broken bodies of the Gazan children have been traumatizing for human beings who care about such things.
The real world around us is too miserable and not worth writing about or getting angry about, or grieving endlessly about the innocents killed around the world by people who think their own existence depends on starting and maintaining wars.
These days, my GOTO place is the online Ontario library. Twitter or X is another haunt of mine, but only for less than 30 minutes a day. The less time spent at places that hug AI, the better for your mental and visual health.
Will try to keep this blog afloat only because one day my grandkids might come by it and get a glimpse into the mindset of their gran during the time in Earth's history when the world turned a blind eye to senseless killing.
Also, got notification from Google that my accounts (don't know which ones) will be deleted as they have been inactive for 2 years. No idea which ones Google is referring to. So, will try and keep this blog going, at least on life support and hope Google won't pull the plug on this one.
