USA+gang's instigated wars, regime changes, nation splitting = Famines bringing death to millions


A lot of harm is done in the name of "war on terror" on Muslim nations of the world while shamefully their own Muslim brothers cohort with the destroyers of their people and lands and more often than not, like in the case of the Sunni sheikdoms, gleefully join the destroyers in the destruction.  Is it any wonder Muslims who are affected by this mayhem, dream of  revenge either by foolishly going on  a suicidal rampage and killing innocent civilians or those who are smart, bid their time by migrating and conquering the West by sheer numbers?

Impending famines in Africa and Yemen have political causes

Millions of people are at risk of starvation in Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia and Yemen
 
IN FEBRUARY the UN declared a state of famine in parts of South Sudan. It is the first time the UN has officially deployed the term since 2011. But, according to the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS Net), which is run by the American government, 70m people worldwide will need food assistance this year.


 In Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia and Yemen, FEWS Net states there is a "credible risk of famine". Between them around 20m people are at risk of starvation. The UN’s humanitarian co-ordinator, Stephen O’Brien, has said that “the largest humanitarian crisis” since 1945 is unfolding this year....

On the jihadi car and suicide bombings in the bazaars of Karrada, Baghdad, on July 3

Latest reports give Dead Count as 250+   Injured as 220+

From the muted response from world media on the car bombs + suicide bombings at two locations in Baghdad,(the first location had the heavy toll) we can clearly surmise that the people of this planet have become immune to death and destruction in the war-torn countries of not only Iraq but also Syria and Afghanistan.  As for the deaths of Africans, whether by suicide bombings or missiles from the Western overlords, nobody in the West cares to lift even a single eyebrow.  Libya is seeing several severe incidents, almost on a daily basis.  So also Yemen, Nigeria, Sudan, Somalia, CAR, Mali and where else?  There must be other nations where the USA+gang have their boots firmly entrenched bringing chaos and death to the natives, but most of us are not aware of those killing fields ... at this date in time.

The flames that consumed hope

I’m frequently asked to write security assessments of Baghdad, to gauge what the risks are and what the associated political fallout could be. Only 10 days ago I was asked for my thoughts on Baghdad security: would a Daesh bombing campaign continue after Fallujah was liberated (yes because Daesh has always used them to project strength), how likely would an attack occur around Eid (very likely as Daesh targets crowded areas and especially increases attacks in Ramadhan), can they penetrate inner Baghdad areas such as Karrada (yes because these bombings are planned and have assistance to get them through checkpoints), and would there be a breakout of violence in response to such an attack (unlikely as there is a war being fought but...

On Saturday evening, I was with friends in the western end of the Karrada area, near the Babylon Hotel, watching the Germany-Italy football match. It was a very warm night and we were sat outside in a popular restaurant cheering for Italy to win but expecting Germany to. At around midnight the match was forced into extra time and then a penalty shootout. Around me every one was watching nervously as the game reached its conclusion. At 12.50am it was the Germans who came out victorious and we all felt sorry for the Italians who never seem to do well at penalty kicks. As we were still discussing the result we suddenly felt the shockwave of a bomb and the loud sound of an explosion accompanying it, meaning it was nearby. Living in Baghdad means you learn to differentiate between a car bomb, a truck bomb, a Grad or Katyusha rocket, a mortar, a grenade, an improvised landmine or IED, a missile, or just a plain sound bomb. This sounded like it was a car bomb, not big enough for any more than that, perhaps 2-3 kilometres away, likely to kill 10 people and not out of the ordinary for a city that has seen hundreds of such incidents over the past decade. We all reached for our phones to see the initial reports on social media and within 5 minutes we saw messages that it was in Karrada, next to Hadi Center mall. We all said it would be bad because we knew how crowded that area gets at night. Next we got images of a raging fire and then we saw fire trucks and ambulances speeding past us down the Karrada Dakhil road towards the explosion site. The mood changed and nobody was talking about the football anymore, and then phones started ringing, with wives, mothers, sisters, daughters calling their family members to ask that they go back home. Suddenly the restaurant started to thin out, and by 2am I was pretty much the last one there (unthinkable on a usual night). I drove down Karrada Dakhil, and could see the orange glow from the flames in the night sky and the screams of sirens and people running. Panic was the overwhelming feeling that gripped this area and with more emergency vehicles cramming into the road I decided to move away and turned onto Karrada Kharij and back home. On Facebook and Twitter the photos posted were showing the mall engulfed in flames. The death toll began to creep past 15 and this started to look like a worse attack than I expected. At 4am I went to sleep thinking the situation would settle by late morning and we would get a death toll in the mid 30s.

That’s what happens in Iraq, deaths become just statistics and the frequency of attacks means the shock doesn’t register as it would elsewhere or that you have enough time to feel sad or grieve. I was near the Karrada area on 2 May 2015 when a twin bombing killed Ammar al-Shahbander, a friend of so many Iraqis and foreigners alike and one of the most energetic and optimistic people you could meet in Baghdad. He was killed, along with 16 others, very close to Hadi mall and .........


....Ahmad was one of a new generation of well-educated Iraqis who hoped to turn the country around. He worked at the Agriculture Commission which coordinated with several ministries to improve Iraq’s agriculture sector. Ahmad was always writing about ways to enhance modern farming, to increase crop yields, to better manage water resources, to sustainably develop livestock, and every weekend would spend a day at some farm or factory in the provinces where work was taking place to do just that. He wrote a paper last year for us at Bayan Center on sustainable development of agriculture and was working on a paper on food security and crop yields. He was Abu Yusif to his friends and was an optimist who had an infectious energy, totally convinced that our country’s future would be better than its past.....

....The Hadi mall was designed, as the vast majority of buildings in Iraq, with no fire safety in mind. There were no emergency exits, the door to the roof was welded shut to prevent the entry of burglars and no sprinklers were in place to assist with putting out fires. There may have been some fire extinguishers but I doubt it. The only way in and out of the building was through the single front entrance. ....

Iraq sees worst bombing since invasion  with 250 deaths
The death toll from Sunday's suicide bombing in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, has risen to 250, the Iraqi government says, making it the deadliest such attack since the 2003 US-led invasion.

A lorry packed with explosives was detonated in the Karrada district while families were shopping for the holiday marking the end of Ramadan.

Iraq suicide bomb attack: Deaths in Baghdad rise to 165
The number of people killed in Sunday's suicide bomb attack in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, has risen to 165, interior ministry officials say.

The government has declared three days of mourning after the huge blast, which also injured 225 people.

....A lorry packed with explosives was detonated in the Karrada district while families were shopping for the holiday marking the end of Ramadan.
It is believed to be the deadliest single bomb attack in Iraq since 2007.

Rescuers said whole families had been killed. Many people were badly burned.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi was greeted by angry crowds when he visited the mainly Shia Muslim area in the hours after the bombing.

His office said Mr Abadi understood the reaction of residents and would increase security by banning "magic wand" fake bomb detectors and improving vehicle inspections at roads into the city.

The fake bomb detectors, some based on cheap devices for finding golf balls, were sold in large numbers to Iraq by fraudsters.

One British businessman, who was jailed for 10 years, sold more than 6,000 devices to Iraq for up to $40,000 (£30,000) each.

The UK banned their export to Iraq in 2010 and several other fraudsters received prison sentences. Despite warnings that the devices were useless, the Iraqi security forces continued to use them.

Saudi Arabia = an ISIS that has made it


I agree wholeheartedly!!   Anybody with half a brain can see it to be so.

And, in other news, the spreader of the most disgusting strain of islam known as wahabism, is suing a twitter user for twitting something that the stink of a nation found offensive.  This is the stinkhole nation that the West is hugging to its heart.  Do you see any hope for citizens of the West?

Saudi Arabia To Sue Twitter User Who Called Poet's Death Sentence 'ISIS-Like'

DOHA (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's justice ministry plans to sue a Twitter user who compared the death sentence handed down on Friday to a Palestinian poet to the punishments meted out by Islamic State, a major government-aligned newspaper reported on Wednesday.

"The justice ministry will sue the person who described ... the sentencing of a man to death for apostasy as being `ISIS-like'," the newspaper Al-Riyadh quoted a source in the justice ministry as saying.

The source did not identify the Twitter user or the possible penalty.

On Friday, a Saudi Arabian court sentenced Palestinian poet Ashraf Fayadh to death for apostasy - abandoning his Muslim faith - according to trial documents seen by Human Rights Watch.

Fayadh was detained by the country's religious police in 2013 in Abha, in southwest Saudi Arabia, and then rearrested and tried in early 2014.

Saudi Arabia's justice system is based on Islamic Sharia law, and its judges are clerics from the kingdom's ultra- conservative Wahhabi school of Sunni Islam. In the Wahhabi interpretation of Sharia, religious crimes, including blasphemy and apostasy, incur the death penalty.

In January, liberal writer Raif Badawi was flogged 50 times after he was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 1,000 lashes for blasphemy last year, prompting an international outcry. Badawi remains in prison, but diplomats say he is unlikely to be flogged again...........

CrossTalk of Oct 21 was crazy



I totally agree with Sam Husseini.  Couldn't understand why the CrossTalk host and other guests dismissed his opinions so vehemently.
 
He's right in putting forth the premise that the USA's campaign in the Middle East has been very successful - but in a very devilish way, one that we are encouraged NOT to think about.
 
The breaking-up of nations and creating  chaos was exactly the intention. Think about it dear folks. America has managed to create a deep, deep wedge between the Sunnis and the Shiites which will continue on forever -  creating even more civil wars than we have already seen.  USA and allies have managed to break up Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq and now Syria into more than two pieces each and that's how they will remain - no matter what.  AND, that was the intention from get go.

The question that should be asked is: "Which other nations have fallen prey to this satanic scheme which has been successful in the Middle East but has not had so much focus?"

Syria said on Saturday it was willing to participate in "preliminary consultations" in Moscow aimed at restarting talks next year to end its civil war but the Western-backed opposition dismissed the initiative.
Two rounds of peace talks this year in Geneva failed to halt the conflict which has killed 200,000 people during more than three years of violence and there was little sign of the latest move gaining traction.......

1,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne headed to Iraq
Approximately 1,000 paratroopers from the Army’s famed 82nd Airborne Division will deploy to Iraq early next year to help the Iraqi security forces take on the Islamic State, the Pentagon announced Friday.

 The soldiers from the 82nd’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team, based at Fort Bragg, N.C., will begin to deploy in late January to train, advise and assist the ISF, Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters.
Their mission is part of the coalition effort to build up the Iraqi army and Kurdish peshmerga so that they can recapture territory from Islamic State militants.
The paratroopers are preparing for a nine-month deployment, according to a spokeswoman for the 82nd Airborne......

Fajr Libya fighters firing rockets from speedboats at al-Sidra port set oil tank on fire, amid clashes in Sirte.
More than 20 soldiers have been killed in a surprise attack in which fighters used speedboats in a failed bid to seize some of Libya's main oil terminals, according to officials.
Fighters launched Thursday's attack on al-Sidra port by firing rockets from speedboats, setting an oil tank on fire, security sources told AFP news agency.
Soldiers damaged three of the vessels before clashes in which the fighters were eventually repelled, sources said.....

Libya has called on Italy  to send firefighters to prevent a fire spreading out of control at Es Sider, the country's biggest oil port, officials said on Saturday.
A rocket hit an oil storage tank last week at the port in the east of the country during clashes between forces allied to Libya's competing governments.....

Al Shabaab Gunmen Attack a Christmas Party  at an African Union Base in Somalia
African Union troops fought off an ambush waged by at least eight gunmen at a base in Somalia on Thursday, during an attack carried out by al Shabaab militants that was reportedly targeting a Christmas party at the compound.

 The deadly clash left at least five militants dead and lasted for several hours, after an unverified number of fighters from al Shabaab infiltrated the AU mission (Amisom) base, which is located just outside of the international airport in Mogadishu. While the offensive was underway, al-Shabaab confirmed it was behind the attack.........

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) militants fired two inaccurate Grad-type rockets at the Balhaf liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Shabwah province on 18 December.

 Yemeni media reported that one of the rockets had landed in the sea, whereas the other had landed near the complex perimeter without causing casualties or material damage.
AQAP took responsibility for the attack on 21 December, claiming that the operation was in retaliation for the use of an adjacent airstrip to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and to stop the French energy producer Total, which co-operates the LNG terminal, from "looting the Yemeni resources".........

2 Car Bombs Rock Southern Sweden's City of Malmo
Swedish police say two car bombs have shattered dozens of windows in a multiethnic district of Malmo, Sweden's third largest city.
Police spokeswoman Linda Pleym says no one was injured by Saturday's pre-dawn explosions in Rosengaard, a district dominated by immigrants from Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia and Lebanon. One car bomb exploded at the foot of a building, the other in a parking lot nearby.
It was unclear who was behind the two explosions and if they were connected. No arrests were immediately made.
The blasts were the latest in a series that has rocked the southern.........

Swedish mosque hit by arson  in Eskilstuna, injuring five
An arsonist set fire to a mosque in the Swedish town of Eskilstuna on Thursday, injuring five people, police said.
About 15 to 20 people were attending midday prayers in the mosque, located in the ground floor of a residential building, when the fire broke out on Christmas Day.
Local media footage showed smoke and flames billowing from the windows before firefighters put the blaze out.
The incident comes amid a fierce debate in Sweden over immigration policies.
The far right wants to cut the number of asylum seekers allowed into Sweden by 90%, while mainstream parties are intent on preserving the country's liberal policy.......

 Islamic State fighters took a Jordanian pilot prisoner after his warplane was shot down in northeast Syria on Wednesday, the first captive taken from the U.S.-led coalition battling the jihadi group.
Jordan's armed forces said one of its pilots had been captured after a coalition air raid over the province of Raqqa......

Colombia Farc ceasefire starts after deadly attack Colombia's Farc rebels have begun an indefinite, unilateral ceasefire.
The group unexpectedly announced on Wednesday that it would begin a truce for an unlimited time from Saturday.
The move has been welcomed by the UN and the European Union. However, Colombia's government said it would not join the rebels in the truce........

Pakistan Military: Dozens of Militants Killed in Strikes Near Afghanistan Border
Pakistani warplanes and ground forces killed 39 militants as part of a continuing operation in a volatile tribal region near the Afghan border, the Pakistani military said.
The airstrikes were carried out Friday evening in the Datta Khel area of the North Waziristan tribal region, an army statement said Saturday, adding that an underground tunnel system and a large underground cache of weapons and ammunition were also destroyed......

Lot of war news today.  Just saw a twitter discussion about UK jets' "friendly fire" on 30 Iraqi soldiers mistaking them for jihadis, or probably the jihadis were wearing Iraqi army uniforms.  Let's hope that was the case.

Warlord Stephen Harper, the PM of Canada gets his way. Torontonians prepare yourselves to see more coffins coming down the Highway of Heroes and Canadians prepare yourselves for more young men and women coming back with mental issues and not ever again living a normal sane life.  This is not our fight. 
Nobody is at our borders preparing to invade this country.

Canada to send CF-18 jets to Iraq in six-month mission  
More than 600 members of the Canadian military will be deployed as part of Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s plan for a combat mission to send CF-18 fighter jets to battle ISIL extremists in Iraq.
The mission, to be debated and voted on in the House of Commons early next week, is shaping up to be politically explosive. Both the New Democrats and Liberals Friday rejected Harper’s rationale for combat and said they will oppose the government’s plan, which was spelled out in a motion introduced in Parliament.
The motion, to be debated Monday, is assured of passage because the governing Conservatives have a majority.
In an address to the House of Commons Friday, Harper said his plan will not include on-the-ground combat by Canadian soldiers and that he is trying to prevent Canada being sucked into a “prolonged quagmire.” The mission will last up to six months.....

Biden blames US allies in Middle East for rise of ISIS  
US Vice-President Joe Biden has accused America’s key allies in the Middle East of allowing the rise of the Islamic State (IS), saying they supported extremists with money and weapons in their eagerness to oust the Assad regime in Syria.

 America’s “biggest problem” in Syria is its regional allies, Biden told students at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University on Thursday.

 “Our allies in the region were our largest problem in Syria,” he said, explaining that Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the UAE were “so determined to take down Assad,” that in a sense they started a “proxy Sunni-Shia war” by pouring “hundreds of millions of dollars and tens of thousands of tons of weapons” towards anyone who would fight against Assad.

“And we could not convince our colleagues to stop supplying them,” said Biden, thus disassociating the US from unleashing the civil war in Syria.
“The outcome of such a policy now is more visible,” he said, as it turned out they supplied extremists from Al-Nusra Front and Al-Qaeda.
All of a sudden the regional powers that sponsored anti-Assad rebels awakened to the dawn of a major international security threat in the face of ISIS – now called Islamic State. After being essentially thrown out of Iraq it found open space and territory in eastern Syria and established close ties with the Al-Nusra Front which the US had earlier declared a terrorist group.....

The vid shows clearly that our own Western governments are our biggest enemies.  Those we consider to be jihadis are used by our governments as double agents and are paid the kind of money we will not see even in a lifetime of hard work.

 Islamic State militants fighting in Iraq  and Syria posted a video on Friday that appeared to show the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning, triggering condemnation by the British and U.S. governments.

A video released Friday  by the militant group Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) appears to show the execution of British aid worker Alan Henning. A man identified as Peter Edward Kassig, an American, is then threatened with a similar fate.....
.....Kassig, a former Army Ranger who deployed to Iraq in 2007, spoke with TIME in January 2013 about his humanitarian work and beginning an aid group called Special Emergency Response and Assistance.....

ISIS Makes Inroads in Afghanistan, Pakistan  
....Just three weeks after the pamphlets began appearing, it was reported that ISIS aligned militants launched their first brutal offensive in Afghanistan's central province of Ghazni alongside Taliban fighters, which left more than 100 people dead. Carrying the black flags of ISIS, they overran several villages, beheaded fifteen family members of local police officers, and burned at least 60 homes. This was a shocking incident to many observers in Afghanistan, as they believed Afghanistan is out of the range and off the agenda of ISIS.
ISIS's encroachment into Pakistan and Afghanistan comes at a time when extremism and the violence waged under such ideology, might be at its peak in both countries. At the same time, political deadlocks caused by the struggle over power combined with the failure of the governments in both countries and the wider region to respond to the legitimate aspirations of their people have significantly undermined the government's legitimacy in both countries, thus calling into question the very concept of modern nation states......

Ukrainian Nationalist Volunteers Committing 'ISIS-Style' War Crimes
Groups of right-wing Ukrainian nationalists are committing war crimes in the rebel-held territories of Eastern Ukraine, according to a report from Amnesty International, as evidence emerged in local media of the volunteer militias beheading their victims.
Armed volunteers who refer to themselves as the Aidar battalion “have been involved in widespread abuses, including abductions, unlawful detention, ill-treatment, theft, extortion, and possible executions”, Amnesty said.........

Nine U.N. troops killed in worst attack yet on Mali force  
Nine United Nations peacekeepers in Mali were killed when heavily armed gunmen on motorbikes ambushed their convoy on Friday, the deadliest attack yet on U.N. troops in Mali, the mission said.
The attack on the peacekeepers from Niger took place in the region of Gao and highlighted a sharp increase in strikes on foreign troops based in Mali to prevent the return of al Qaeda-linked Islamists who seized the desert north in 2012.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was "shocked and outraged" by the attack, which constitutes a serious violation of international law, and he called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice, U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said. 
"They were targeting a convoy that included a fuel truck, knowing full well that an attack on a fuel truck would cause an even greater number of casualties, which adds to the horrendous nature of the crime," Dujarric said.
Dujarric said that 30 peacekeepers have been killed in Mali since the U.N. mission began in July last year, while another 90 have been wounded. He said Friday's attack took place between the northeastern towns of Menaka and Ansongo........

Last week there were vid clips purporting to show that the Donetsk airport was in Novorussia hands, however, the vid below posted today shows the battle for the airport is still ongoing between the separatists and Ukraine's units.  
You gotta watch this vid.  Pretty interesting.

 The U.S. Navy ended the search Thursday for a missing U.S. Marine in the Persian Gulf who bailed out of an MV-22 Osprey when it lost power after taking off from the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island.
The Marine was one of two aircrew members who went into the water Wednesday when it seemed the Osprey might crash. The other aircrew member was rescued and is in stable condition aboard the Makin Island, officials said.
The Osprey’s pilot was able to regain control of the aircraft and return to the ship. The Navy said the plane was participating in flight operations to support the military’s mission in Iraq and Syria..........

Congratulations to all Syria regime haters because their hatred has helped ....


to transform most of Syria which was a thriving secular country just 3 years ago into a mini-Saudi Arabia.  Of course, very especial thanks and congratulations should go to Israel, Saudi Arabia and Turkey for achieving this marvellous feat. The icing on the cake will be when Assad is ousted, which has been the main goal of the ghouls all along. 
It's so painful to know that Syrian women loved wearing the latest designs from France and had boutiques and the best of places for women to shop in, just like in Lebanon .... and now they look like black ghosts drifting along the jihadi streets. With the exception of Damascus and Assad-controlled areas where women are still free but living in fear .... the rest of Syria is now Saudi Arabia.
