USA+gang's instigated wars, regime changes, nation splitting = Famines bringing death to millions
A lot of harm is done in the name of "war on terror" on Muslim nations of the world while shamefully their own Muslim brothers cohort with the destroyers of their people and lands and more often than not, like in the case of the Sunni sheikdoms, gleefully join the destroyers in the destruction. Is it any wonder Muslims who are affected by this mayhem, dream of revenge either by foolishly going on a suicidal rampage and killing innocent civilians or those who are smart, bid their time by migrating and conquering the West by sheer numbers?

Impending famines in Africa and Yemen have political causes
Millions of people are at risk of starvation in Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia and Yemen
IN FEBRUARY the UN declared a state of famine in parts of South Sudan. It is the first time the UN has officially deployed the term since 2011. But, according to the Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWS Net), which is run by the American government, 70m people worldwide will need food assistance this year.
In Nigeria, South Sudan, Somalia and Yemen, FEWS Net states there is a "credible risk of famine". Between them around 20m people are at risk of starvation. The UN’s humanitarian co-ordinator, Stephen O’Brien, has said that “the largest humanitarian crisis” since 1945 is unfolding this year....

South Sudan government reportedly letting soldiers rape women in lieu of pay
Could this be true? We have become so very jaded by now that anything and everything we read is suspect. Clearly, if true, this is a war crime but as it's not happening in that particular patch of the world which takes up the world's self appointed policeman's focus every second of the day, every week of the month, every month of the year, every year of every decade ... who cares, right? As long as the chaos is maintained at its highest level in the Middle East Muslim countries, all's well in and with, the planet of the USA.
From Quartz
The South Sudanese government is allowing soldiers to rape women in lieu of pay
The South Sudanese government is deliberately targeting civilians as part of a “scorched earth policy” that includes rape, killing, and pillaging, according to the United Nations and Amnesty International.
Both the government and opposition groups have attacked civilians since fighting broke out in December 2013, but a UN report published today (March 11) claims that state actors “bore the greatest responsibility for the violations of both international and human rights law.”....
....Rape has become part of an intentional strategy to “terrorize and punish the population,” according the UN report. Groups allied with the government are raping women as a substitute for wages, page 48 of the report says:
The assessment team received information that the armed militias, mainly comprising of youth from Mayom or Koch who carry out attacks together with the SPLA commit violations under an agreement of “do what you can and take what you can.” Most of the youth therefore also raided cattle, stole personal property, raped and abducted women and girls as a form of payment.
More than 1,300 reports of rape were recorded in just one state, Unity, over the course of five months last year. Gang rapes are common and women are being forced into sexual slavery or forced to marry their abductors. ....

South Sudan's armies gear up as fighting season approaches
With peace talks continuing, James Copnall visits rebel and government strongholds to find preparations for war

Syria shoots down army jets operated by ISIL
The Syrian government has admitted that the ISIL Takfiri militants have conducted flights by three captured planes belonging to the Syrian army.
Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said the country’s forces managed to shoot down two of the three after they made trial flights over the northwestern city of Aleppo on Tuesday.
"Regarding... that terrorists control three jets in al-Jarrah military air base in Aleppo, there are three old aircraft that the terrorists were testing so the Syrian Arab Army immediately destroyed two of them on the runway as they were landing," Zoubi said.
He noted that the Syrian government is not worried about the third plane as it “cannot be used” by the militants.
The information minister added that the plane might be a pretext for the Turkish government to work for the imposition of a no-fly zone over Syria........

Suicide bomber kills 27 militiamen south of Iraqi capital
A suicide bomber killed at least 27 Shi'ite militiamen outside the Iraqi town of Jurf al-Sakhar on Monday after security forces pushed Islamic State militants out of the area over the weekend, army and police sources said.
The attacker, driving a Humvee vehicle packed with explosives and likely stolen from defeated government troops, also wounded 60 Shi'ite Muslim militiamen, who had helped government forces retake the town just south of the capital.......

Updated at 3:50 pm (GMT +3): Six Lebanese soldiers and two civilians have been killed in ongoing battles between the Lebanese army and Islamist militants in the city of Tripoli in north Lebanon for the third day in a row Sunday, as the army vowed to eliminate all "terrorist cells" threatening Lebanon and its security.
According to state-run National News Agency (NNA), the security situation in Tripoli had deteriorated at dawn Sunday when heavy clashes between the army and militants erupted in the Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood..........

Houthis enter al-Qaeda stronghold in central Yemen
Houthi fighters backed by Yemeni government forces entered an al-Qaeda stronghold in central Yemen on Sunday, local tribesmen said, one day after Islamist fighters pushed their rivals back.
The Houthis moved into al-Manasseh area in al-Bayda province under cover from Katyusha rocket fire from the Yemeni army and presidential guard.
Tribal sources said the Ansar al-Sharia fighters withdrew to another district called Bakla, some 3 kilometers (two miles) away.
The Houthis have advanced into central and western Yemen since they seized control of Yemeni capital Sanaa on September 21, taking on tribesmen and al-Qaeda militants........

Wonder how and from where the South Sudanese "rebels" got their hands on heavy weaponry ?
So much we are not been told, as usual. The "rebels" are armed with weaponry that not only made American aircraft turn tail but also damaged the aircraft and wounded several American servicemen. Wasn't it a few months ago that we learnt that the Syrian "rebels" were getting their weaponry via Sudan? I wonder if there's a link between the weaponry in South Sudan and the weaponry that gets into the hands of the "rebels" in Syria. If there is, then we already know where the funds for these weapons have come from.... if not actually the sellers? The sellers are in plenty .... including the United States, Russia, China, UK, France, Ukraine and others.
Michael R.Gordon writing at NYTinmes
.... United States aircraft flying into a heavily contested region of South Sudan to evacuate American citizens were attacked on Saturday and forced to turn back without completing the mission, American officials said. Four service members were wounded, one seriously.
South Sudan officials said the attack had been carried out by rebel forces.
President Obama had sent 45 American servicemen to South Sudan to “support the security of U.S. personnel and our embassy,” he said on Thursday. Previous evacuation flights had been organized in Juba, the capital, but the aborted mission on Saturday appeared to be the first into rebel-held territory.....

Greta Van Susteren of FoxNews has this to tell about a dinner she attended in 2012 .... which tells me that if at all the USA ever decides to take sides in South Sudan, that side will be giving support to the present government's opponents:
(By the way, President Kiir at the dinner was very critical of President Obama. He said that he really wanted to see him succeed as US President but that he was disappointed that President Obama only called him one time when he, Kiir, had shut down oil wells thus driving up the price of oil worldwide. He had shut them down in a fight with President Bashir of Sudan. He was accusing President Obama of caring only about the price of oil in an election year and not helping the people of South Sudan. Of course this is only Kiir’s side of the story and of course I am not suggesting that USA should get involved with Kiir – I am only reporting what he said to me.)
which relates to the news item below:
....South Sudan president sets curfew after attempted coup thwarted'
South Sudan's president on Monday ordered a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the capital after soldiers loyal to the former deputy attempted to seize power by force, leading to clashes between military factions that highlight the growing instability of the world's youngest nation.
Flanked by government officials, President Salva Kiir --who put on fatigues with an army general's epaulets inside of his usual gentleman's suit -- said Monday in a televised address to the nation that the military had foiled a coup orchestrated by "a group of soldiers allied with the former vice president." The soldiers had attacked the South Sudanese military headquarters near Juba University late Sunday, sparking sporadic bursts of gunfire that continued Monday, he said.
"The attackers went and (the) armed forces are pursuing them," Kiir said Monday. "I promise you today that justice will prevail.".............

Persecution of half a million Sudanese in limbo of Muslim Sudan
It has been two years since Sudan split into two. The non-islamic side is the South Sudan. The other side has retained its original name and has implemented full shariah laws and the half million Sudanese there who are not muslims are being harassed into either converting or giving up their homes and livelihood and making their way to South Sudan. Christians are being persecuted and churches have been burnt down and destroyed.
The obvious question would be to ask about Muslims in South Sudan. Yes, they are there in their tens of thousands and are flourishing under the Christian govt. It's always the Christians who suffer under Muslims ....NEVER the muslims under Christian govts.
From US Commission on International Religious Freedom dated July 9:
...Washington, D.C. –Today, July 9, 2013, marks the second anniversary of South Sudan’s independence from Sudan. It is a day of celebration for millions of Southerners who fought for human rights and religious freedom in Sudan’s 20 year civil war. However, July 9 also is a reminder that for two years an estimated 500,000 Southerners in Sudan have been stateless and living a precarious existence.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) is deeply concerned that the failure to resolve the status of stateless Southerners who are living in the north risks further undermining religious freedom in Sudan. With the independence of South Sudan, senior Sudanese government officials have called for a more comprehensive and rigid application of Sharia law in Sudan, where southerners who are Christian have been subject to a range of religious freedom violations. In particular, there have been credible reports of the destruction of churches, refusal to permit construction of new churches and other forms of intimidation and harassment. USCIRF strongly believes that that the independence of South Sudan must not be used as a justification for the denial of religious diversity and freedom in Sudan, or as a justification to delay progress on a resolution of the status of southerners in Sudan.
“It is a potential recipe for disaster that after more than two years of discussions, half a million Southerners in Sudan remain stateless and vulnerable to severe religious freedom violations. The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) calls on the U.S. government and its allies to increase their efforts to help Sudan and South Sudan resolve the status of their nationals residing in the other’s territory,” said USCIRF Chair Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett. “Southerners in Sudan are at a particularly grave risk. Furthermore, failure to finalize negotiations has left them vulnerable to expulsion.”
Since January 2011, the two countries have engaged in a series of negotiations over the citizenship and legal status of Southern Sudanese in Sudan and Sudanese in South Sudan. While South Sudan has offered citizenship to Sudanese residents, the Government of Sudan (GoS) has not reciprocated...............

Wow ! Isn't it great how killers of Christians are acquiring a ready-made army of more killers ?
Courtesy our ally Qatar !! What are friends for, eh?!
.... Sudanese government might evacuate Malian jihadists to Darfur from a foreign country, said a leading rebel official from the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) who asserted they localised their presence in the troubled North Darfur state.
Tahir El-Faki, speaker of JEM's Legislative Assembly reiterated that the Malian jihadist groups are in Darfur region after a large-scale military operation carried out by the French and Malian armies against their positions in northern Mali earlier this month....
Different reports circulate about the fate of the Jihadist groups whose leaders have vanished as no information about their whereabouts.
Le Temps d'Algérie, an Algerian daily newspaper in French language suggested that Qatar had dispatched two airplanes to move the leaders of different jihadist groups that many of them are Algerians.
"This information has been circulating recently" said the director of the French Centre for Research on Intelligence (CF2R),Eric Denécé, in statements published by the Algerian daily on 5 February.
Faki underscored that the Islamists who are arrived in North Darfur are from different countries including Mali Niger and Chad and other foreigners. He added that some of them had been already present in Darfur before to move to Mali last year.
Sudanese and French governments did not react openly to the statements made by the rebel groups on the presence of the Malian rebels...........

Yawn Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ....Sudanaese Christians and mountain tribes being slaughtered by Muslims ....... so boring, me so sleepy now
You know what wakes up the MSM and our politicians and the world at large and gets everybody dancing the jig on red, hot coals? Muslims killing Muslims in Muslim lands. Yup ... that wakes up the leaders and the MSM of the Western world ... and wakes up their dead uncles too. However, any talk about dead Christians? Yawn zzzzzzzz snooze snore.
Kudos to George Clooney for trying to get the "oil, oil, can only see oil and Saudi Arabia" dhimmi multitude turn their eyes to what the Sudanese govt. is doing in revenge for the breakaway of the Christian south Sudan.
In the video below there's a graphic image at approx. 1.20 to 1.30 mark...don't watch if you are squeamish or give an "off focus" look like I usually do when confronted with such images.
From BaptistNews:
JUBA, South Sudan (BP) -- Heightened religious persecution in Sudan includes government bombings killing at least 11 Christians and the arrest of two Coptic Orthodox priests for baptizing a convert from Islam, Morning Star News has reported.
The Sudanese government dropped numerous bombs in multiple Christian villages in the last days of 2012, killing young and old, wounding others and decimating property, according to reports by Morning Star News, a California-based nonprofit media outlet founded last year to report on persecution of Christians worldwide.
The attacks reportedly left ethnic Nuba Christians questioning the international community's presumed silence over the persecution in the country's Nuba Mountains.
Since South Sudan split from Sudan in 2011, ethnic Nuba in Sudan's South Kordofan state believe the Khartoum government is trying to rid the region of non-Arab peoples and Christianity, under the guise of quashing Sudan People's Liberation Army-North rebels, Morning Star News reported.
From ChrisitianSolidarityWorldwide:
Today marks the second anniversary of the delayed referendum on the future of Abyei, the oil-rich region that is an ongoing source of dispute between Sudan and South Sudan.
According to the 2005 Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA), which ended Sudan’s decades-long civil war, a referendum on self determination to allow the people of Abyei to determine whether they would stay part of Sudan or join South Sudan was meant to have occurred in tandem with South Sudan’s own plebiscite on independence, which took place on 9 January 2011. However, it was postponed due to ongoing disagreements between Khartoum and South Sudan over voter eligibility.
The nomadic Arab Misseriya tribe, which has access to certain pasture-lands in Abyei for part of each year, wish to be accorded full voting rights in the referendum. However, according to the Abyei Protocol and a subsequent ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration, only the Ngok Dinka tribe and permanent residents may vote.
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) overran Abyei Town in May 2011, displacing over 20,000 people. In August 2012, both the SAF and the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) fully withdrew from the area, allowing Abyei residents to return and begin rebuilding their lives.
During talks mediated by the African Union on 5 January 2013, President Omar Al-Bashir of Sudan and President Salva Kirr of South Sudan agreed to the establishment of the Abyei Administration Area, the Abyei Area Council and the Abyei Area Police Service, which are key to the implementation of the referendum ahead of the AU’s proposed date of October 2013. Although no agreement has been reached on voter eligibility, earlier this week Misseriya leaders issued a statement announcing their intention to move into Abyei for the duration of 2013 in order to participate in the referendum. However, an Abyei elder who spoke to Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) insisted that only people who reside permanently in the Abyei Area and the Ngok Dinka people should be allowed to vote.....

While the world does a jitterbug around Syria, Christians and their churches are destroyed in Sudan
The bodies of Christians are piling up. The remaining Christians in Sudan are living in a nightmare. The imams are instigating the muslims to do away with Christians. The Christians are fearful of venturing into the streets. The Christians are accused of distributing Bibles in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, the Christians are accused of anything that the imams feels will make their muslim congregation go out and hunt them down and they do.
The muslim prez of the USA and the islamized UN are unable to take on anything more than the agenda set before them for immediate action by their boss Saudi Arabia. Thus, the focus remains on Syria and Iran. Obama's messages to both Sudan and South Sudan are here. You can hear for yourselves how he is dumping both the Sudans in the same pot. This muslim prez will never ever blame his muslim brothers. The ethnic cleansing going on in Sudan is done by his muslim brothers so he prefers to ignore it. What's happening in Sudan is the most underwritten and the most ignored of conflicts going on in our present time.
Listen to the vid below to learn why South Sudan tried to reclaim the oil area at the border.
...The witnesses and several newspapers said a mob of several hundreds shouting insults at southerners torched the church. Fire engines could not put out the fire, they added.
One newspaper, Al-Sahafah, said the church was part of a complex that included a school and dormitories. Ethiopian refugees living in the Sudanese capital also used the church.....

Muslim Sudan bombs the new country of South Sudan
Why is the UN silent about the numerous aerial bombings which are killing and maiming hundreds of South Sudanese ? Are black lives, especially when they are Christian, less important than the brown lives in Syria or is Saudi money to be spent only on dismantling Assad's regime and bribing the Left in Western countries, and not a penny to be spent on bringing Sudan's muslim butcher Omar al-Bashir to justice?
What a topsy-turvy world this is !!!
Where is the loud mouthed Kofi Annan and the sly Ban Ki Moon ? Are they tied up in the chains of gold around their necks that the Saudis have bestowed on them ?
Sudanese warplanes launched a major attack on a South Sudanese town on Thursday, with five bombs dropped on the capital of the oil-producing Unity border state, Southern officials said.
“They dropped bombs in Bentiu town ̶ apparently they were aiming for a bridge,” South Sudan’s deputy information minister Atem Yaak Atem told AFP.
Bombs were dropped at dawn targeting a strategic bridge on the edge of Bentiu, which lies some 60 kilometers (40 miles) from the frontier, on the third straight day of violence....

Christians in Muslim Sudan given ultimatum ... leave by April 8, 2012 or else... and the world yawns as usual...
when Christian lives are stamped out of existence in muslim lands.
Isn't it amazing how our mostly Christian politicians in the West are like the monkeys in the pic when it comes to the treatment that's meted out to Christians in muslim countries? Could it be our own fault for voting these idiots to high places where they are doing more harm than good? Can you seriously say that you know of at least 3 politicians in your country who are constantly hammering away at the muslim nations, questioning their treatment towards minorities? See .... you can't. That's because 99.99% of the politicians in each and every government of the West are only thinking of retaining their power and their status and will whore for votes from even those who work towards the downfall of the West ... nothing else matters but keeping their positions of power and nothing ever will.
....The Sudanese regime is on its way to becoming the next Iran, regardless of whether President Omar Bashir remains in power or not. The country is moving towards becoming a full-blown Sharia state, comparable to Iran, Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan under the Taliban. Towards that end, 500-700,000 Christians have been told to pack up and leave by April 8 or they’ll be treated as foreigners.....

In which Quebec students decry the increase in tuition fees, South Sudan gets bombed by the muzzie northern govt. and a Russian missile cruiser pays us a friendly visit
....“This mobilization sends a clear message to the government that students will not accept higher tuition fees and will do everything in their power to overturn this decision,” march organizers said in a statement.
But the provincial government, which recently stood firm in a similar skirmish with unions, appears to be digging in its heels again. Mr. Charest said he won't back down on the higher fees, which will increase by $325 per year from now until 2016.
Russian missile cruiser pays a friendly visit to Vancouver port and city.
Dr. Daniel Pipes trying to make sense of Western logic re. the uprisings. The Arab upheavals of 2011 have inspired wildly inconsistent Western responses. How, for example, can one justify abiding the suppression of dissidents in Bahrain while celebrating dissidents in Egypt? Or protect Libyan rebels from government attacks but not their Syrian counterparts? Oppose Islamists taking over in Yemen but not in Tunisia?
Such ad hockery reflects something deeper than incompetence: the difficulty of devising a constructive policy toward a region where, other than in a few outliers (Cyprus, Israel, and Iran), populations are predominantly hostile to the West. Friends are few, powerless, and with dim prospects of taking control. Democracy therefore translates into hostile relations with unfriendly governments.
Both the first wave of elections in 2005 and the second wave, just begun in Tunisia, confirm that, given a free choice, a plurality of Middle Easterners vote for Islamists. Dynamic, culturally authentic and ostensibly democratic, these forward a body of uniquely vibrant political ideas and constitute the only Muslim political movement of consequence.......
Will NATO go to the rescue of South Sudan? The government of Sudan has started BOMBING South Sudan. Remember how quickly UN and NATO took action against Libya? The atrocities in Sudan have been happening for years and most of them are state sponsored. Even after the Christian-heavy South has separated from the largely muslim country, the Sudanese govt's lust for Christian blood has not ceased. South Sudan refugee camp bombed by muzzie Sudan. The bombings killed more than a dozen people.
