Bad sign .... Christians in Muslim countries morphing into non-Christian identitites

I would understand it if Christians  became averse to the blood shedding they see on a daily basis, all of it coming from their fellow citizens of the Muslim faith ... but to actually join up in Salafist-linked  political groups, that definitely goes beyond the pale.  I guess this is a case of  "if you can't beat them, join them."

Personally, although this is a deplorable situation, I just cannot bring myself to blame them.  What would you do if you had no means of escape from the kind of islamic hell they have been born into and either don't have the means or the willpower to get out of?

Another reason for the Copts dissatisfaction with their own church is the stupidity of the Christian faith whereby divorce and remarriage is taboo.  The idiots running Christianity into the ground should shake themselves awake and see the world for what it is and not advocate the norms and practices of  over 500 years ago.

From Al Monitor
Coptic Church unhappy    Egyptian Christians are joining Salafist-linked party.

Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church Tawadros II (the 118th and current pope of Alexandria & Patriarch of the See of St. Mark) issued a Aug. 1 decision barring Egyptian Christian Copts from joining the Salafist Nour Party. While the church is not legally allowed to issue official decisions in Egypt, Coptic activists told Al-Monitor that the parishes received oral instructions from the pope's secretariat to keep track of the names of the Copts who join the Nour Party, in preparation for barring them from the church.

Many young Copts were upset. Most of them belong to Coptic 38, a group that objects to the Egyptian Coptic Church’s refusal to grant young people permission to remarry.

These young people expressed their discontent over the pope’s position, protesting that he has always declared that the church is a religious institution dissociated from politics and that its places of worship are for only that. These young people consider their participation in any political party a question of personal freedom. Nader el-Sarafy, one of the co-founders of Coptic 38, said in press statements that joining a party is a political matter and not related to religious belief.

Gamal Assaad, a Coptic former member of parliament, told Al-Monitor, “Joining these parties is basically unconstitutional because Article 74 of the Egyptian Constitution prohibits the establishment of parties on a religious basis, and the Nour Party has a religious basis. Even if the party claims to be a civil party, it is a religious party with anti-Coptic sectarian practices, which is unconstitutional and should be deemed null and void.”.............

Facebook page "Liker" sentenced to 6 years, in the new and "improved" Egypt

Sad isn't it that one swollen head takes over another swollen head and so it goes on and on.  What we forget time and time again is that politicians are all sociopaths.  They wouldn't be where they are if they weren't Oscar winning actors, and what are actors anyway if not prime sociopaths?

From ChristianPost:
....Christians Convicted of 'Blasphemy' in Egypt for 'Liking' Facebook Page

A young Christian man in Upper Egypt accused of blaspheming Islam for "liking" a Facebook page was sentenced Tuesday (June 24) to six years in prison, shocking the Coptic community and other Facebook users.

Judge Hazim Hany of Armant Criminal Court found Kerolos Shouky Attallah, 29, of Al-Mahamid village near Luxor, guilty of violating two articles of the Egyptian Penal Code – Article 98F, defaming a divinely revealed religion, and Article 176, inciting sectarian violence.

Attallah was charged for "liking" an Arabic-language Facebook page administered by an anonymous group of Christian converts known as the Knights of the Cross. His attorney, Mohamed Ahmed Abd-Alaal, said Attallah did not make any comments on the site, share any of the postings or upload anything to it. Attallah promptly removed his name from the page once he realized the Facebook page offended some Muslims.

The guilty verdict and the severity of the sentence came as a surprise, said Safwat Samaan, chairman of Nation Without Borders, a human rights and development group headquartered in Luxor........

So far, Egypt has worked wonders

Now, I am waiting to see how Egyptians will give Hamas what should have been given to them long ago. That will be some show and worth watching.

Richard Spencer writing at TelegraphUKL
.....More than 96 per cent of voters were in favour of the new document, according to provisional counts from most of Egypt’s 27 provinces, after a short campaign in which many of those trying to oppose the constitution were harassed and arrested.
The turn-out was also likely to be up from the referendum on the Brotherhood-backed constitution in December 2012, according to the figures, which regime opponents are likely to challenge.
Even on their face, the provisional figures further reflected the polarisation of Egypt’s society. Tens of thousands of people have been arrested in competing and often violent demonstrations for and against the military and the Brotherhood since the overthrow of ex-President Hosni Mubarak three years ago.
They showed a rise in turn-out and high support for the constitution in urban areas in the north, but a sharp dip in provinces in Upper Egypt and the west where political Islam is historically strong and the Brotherhood, which boycotted the referendum, has widespread backing.
The new constitution removes some of the Islamist language of that ushered in by the Brotherhood’s President Mohammed Morsi in 2012, and lays a greater stress on equal rights, including for women. It bans political parties based on religion............

....Gen Sisi is now widely expected to run for the presidency, though some analysts and even supporters say he would be better advised to remain the power behind the throne.....

.....He also faces a backlash among hardline Islamists to his crackdown on the Brotherhood and the army’s heavy-handed attempts to use brute force to stamp out an insurgency in the northern Sinai. Terrorist attacks have now spread to the mainland, with 14 police killed in a bomb attack on a police station in the Nile Delta town of Mansoura on December 24.
Pro-Morsi campaigners have pledged to keep up protests, though numbers have started to dwindle in the face of the sheer numbers of those arrested - hundreds every week, even according to the interior minister, Mohammed Ibrahim.
“Every Friday, no less than 500 to 600 get arrested,” he said at a recent press conference. “At the beginning, we used to wait for the demonstration to turn violent, but now we confront them once they congregate. When we confront them, there are some that run. But whoever we can grab, we detain.”..........

The persecution of Christians in Egypt by Obama's favorite Muslim group

And, people swear that he is not a Muslim.  Lefties belittle and laugh at people like moi because we know that Obama is a Muslim at heart and we don't hesitate to say so.

From Voice of the Persecuted blog:
...Added Security For Coptic Churches In Egypt. As Coptic Christians celebrate Christian, the Interior Minister has moved police have been into position to give them and their churches protection. “If police confirm there is a presence of any terrorist elements, they will use live rounds,” an Interior Ministry official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity.

When Islamist President Mohamed Morsi was elected, Christians became the targets of violence. It escalated during the Revolution in June to remove him from power.  In August and after by the Military had ousted Morsi from power, Islamists unleashed their fury on the Christians and over 80 churches were attacked with many of them burned to the ground. Christians homes and shops were also destroyed..........

Troubling times for Egypt

Hopefully, what's happening in Egypt will remove the blinders from people here in North America who are of the opinion that the Muslim Brotherhood is only a political party.  It is not. It is a militant group which is a very well organized and extremely dangerous movement and has within its fold some of the most well educated taqiyyah masters found in the Islamic society.

So .... what's happening on the Egyptian front?

From IndependentCatholic:
masked gunmen opened fire on a wedding in Giza on Sunday evening, 20 October.
As wedding guests were leaving the Coptic Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary in Warraq al-Hadar, Giza, a car and a motorcycle pulled up, and a masked gunman on the motorcycle opened fire with an automatic weapon. At least 15 bullets were fired indiscriminately before the attackers drove away.
Two guests were killed during the attack, with two more dying later from gunshot wounds. The deceased are eight year-old Mariam Ashraf, twelve year-old Miriam Nabil, 45 year-old Samir Fahmy and 56 year-old Camilia Attiya, the mother of the groom. CSW’s sources confirm that 18 others were injured and that all of the deceased were Christians. According to Father Thomas Daoud Ibrahim, priest of the Warraq church, three wedding services had been taking place at the time of the attack.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack; however, it comes after a wave of violence by Muslim Brotherhood supporters targeting the Coptic community, which they claim played a primary role in the removal of former President Morsi. .........

From Reuters:
....Egypt's prosecutor general on Tuesday ordered the trial of four police officers charged with killing 39 Muslim Brotherhood members in August after they were picked up in the crackdown that followed the military overthrow of President Mohamed Mursi.
The Islamists died after teargas was fired into the back of the police van in which they were being held. The four policemen have been arrested and charged with murder and unintended injury, a security source said.
Also on Tuesday, hundreds of students demanding Mursi's reinstatement protested for a fourth consecutive day at universities in several provinces.
Security forces fired teargas at supporters and opponents of Mursi in front of Mansoura University, north of Cairo, a witness said.....

From AllAfrica:
The Financial Times newspaper rejected offers by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to allocate a page to condemn a visit by an Egyptian popular diplomacy delegation to London.
The MB also offered the British newspaper money to condemn Egypt's June 30 Revolution in its publication.
Meanwhile, the website of the International Anti-Coup Pro-Democracy Alliance condemned the stance of the FT's editor Lionel Barber, who rejected offers by the international organization of the MB to publish articles criticizing the June 30 Revolution and the visit paid by the Egyptian popular diplomacy delegation to London.

From AlMonitor:
....Cairo and Addis Ababa may soon reach a truce  to calm their dispute over the construction of the Renaissance Dam on the Blue Nile in Ethiopia. Both countries have recently shown good faith and agreed to negotiate about the project. Egypt has even agreed to take part in building the dam, though without declaring its conditions for doing so.
At a news conference Oct. 7, Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn announced that his country welcomes the participation of Egypt and Sudan in the construction of the dam and stressed that his government considers the dam to be jointly owned by Sudan, Ethiopia and Egypt. Cairo viewed his statement as a positive step toward reaching a consensus on the project, despite its earlier sharp criticism of it.
In a telephone conversation Oct. 17, Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdul Muttalib told Al-Monitor: “Egypt doesn’t mind joining the Ethiopian government in building the dam for the service and development of the Ethiopian people. But we must agree on a number of items in a clear way to prevent any damage to Egypt as a result of the dam construction. The Egyptian government always opts for cooperation and participation. … During the coming negotiations with Ethiopia over the dam, we will clarify our position regarding the policy and method of operating the dam, the size of the storage lake attached to it, and how to fill it with water in times of flood and drought.” He stressed, “Egypt will definitely not participate in the construction unless these policies are agreed upon and agreements regarding them are signed.”........

From AhramEnglish:
Egypt's presidency denied on Tuesday media reports suggesting that the government has made contact with opposing "factions" in order to pull Egypt out of its current political stalemate.
According to a Tuesday statement, the presidency has not appealed to "factions that use violence to impose their will, which is in opposition of the will of the Egyptian people," state news agency MENA reported.
The statement appears to refer to several recent media reports alleging negotiations between Egypt's interim authorities and the Muslim Brotherhood, which refuses to acknowledge former Islamist president Mohamed Morsi's popularly-backed military ouster in July........

From HuffingtonPost:
Lindsey Graham Holds Up Millions In Egypt Aid. President Barack Obama's first package of post-coup economic aid to Egypt is hitting a roadblock in Congress, where a key Republican senator is holding up the transfer of $60 million to a program to spur private investment in Egypt's flailing economy, according to U.S. officials and congressional aides.
The Obama administration decided earlier this month to suspend much of America's annual $1.6 billion in mostly military support to its once ironclad Middle East ally, citing the ruling army's continued crackdown on political opponents since ousting Mohammed Morsi, the popularly elected, Muslim Brotherhood-backed president, in July. But the administration pledged at the same time to maintain the strategic relationship, and recently sought congressional approval for a chunk of assistance.

From WashingtonInstitute:
Although the new constitution    is unlikely to catalyze upheaval in the short term, the changes being contemplated could have major implications for the role of religion and the military in Egypt's political life.

Egypt's fifty-member constitutional committee will soon release a final draft of the new charter, providing important indicators about the country's domestic political trajectory. Reports from the committee's deliberations highlight two issues that will be particularly crucial in defining the character of the newly emerging order: how the constitution frames the relationship between religion and politics, and how it envisions the role of the military....

Report from Human Rights Watch on Egypt's Muslim attack on Christians

This,  the  first official report from Human Rights Watch on the Muslim Bastards attack on Christians, their churches, their schools, their businesses and homes...is dated August 22, 2013. There will be more reports to follow .... of that I am sure.  I have heard that Christians in Egypt are so terrified they are not venturing out of their homes and neither are they  opening their doors to their Muslim neighbours  who want to help them with their grocery shopping etc.   There's a lot more that needs covering in  future reports from the HRW but without finding those Christians who were subjected to  violence by  supporters of the Muslim Bastardhood  or  were witnesses to the mayhem, HRW's reports will not be able to tell us the complete facts.  The reports of first hand experiences will take longer to seep out.

(New York) – Egyptian authorities should take the necessary steps   to protect churches and religious institutions against mob attacks, Human Rights Watch said today. Since August 14, 2013, attackers have torched and looted scores of churches and Christian property across the country, leaving at least four people dead. Authorities should also investigate why security forces were largely absent or failed to intervene even when they had been informed of ongoing attacks......

......“For weeks, everyone could see these attacks coming, with Muslim Brotherhood members accusing Coptic Christians of a role in Mohammad Morsy’s ouster, but the authorities did little or nothing to prevent them,” said Joe Stork, acting Middle East director at Human Rights Watch. “Now dozens of churches are smoldering ruins, and Christians throughout the country are hiding in their homes, afraid for their very lives.”.....

......In the vast majority of the 42 cases Human Rights Watch documented, neither the police nor the military were present at the start or during the attack. In one case, in Dalga, a village in southern Minya governorate, residents said that men had attacked the local police station around the same time. In Kirdassa, Giza, west of Cairo, an activist said that mobs attacked the local police station, killing15 officers according to the Associated Press, before attacking Al-Mallak church. A priest in Malawi, a town in Minya governorate south of Minya city, told Human Rights Watch that he called emergency services and police multiple times while mobs burned his church, but no one came. Another Dalga resident said that on August 16 the governor promised to send armored personnel carriers to protect Copts from ongoing violence, but that none came.

“We [church officials] spoke to the prime minister, minister of interior, and a military official asking them to intervene,” Coptic Bishop General of Minya Anba Makarios told Human Rights Watch on August 19. He said the officials promised to send protection, but it never arrived.

In Hadeyeq Helwan, 30 kilometers south of Cairo, a resident told Human Rights Watch that one armored personnel carrier finally arrived on the afternoon of August 17, a day after the St. George Church there came under attack.

Residents in Minya city told Human Rights Watch that in the week following Morsy’s removal from the presidency on July 3, someone had spray-painted Coptic-owned store fronts in Minya’s city center with a black “X” to distinguish them from Muslim-owned buildings. Those marked subsequently came under attack......

......Sectarian attacks against Christians had increased even before the August 14 action against the camps. On July 5, following Morsy’s ouster on July 3, four Copts were killed in Luxor governorate. On July 23, Human Rights Watch called on the Egyptian authorities to take steps to protect Christians, investigate attacks, and hold those responsible to account........

......Most of the attacks occurred in Upper Egypt. John Sameer, 21, a resident of Minya city, 250 kilometers south of Cairo, told Human Rights Watch that at 10 a.m. on August 14, he saw crowds of thousands of men on trucks and on foot approaching his neighborhood chanting anti-Christian slogans directly aimed at the Egyptian Coptic community......

.....Father Bernaba at the Mar Meena Coptic Church in Minya city told Human Rights Watch that a large crowd attacked his church on the afternoon of August 14, setting fire to the church clinic and services building, and damaging the front exterior of the church itself. He said that security forces and police did not come to stop the attack. At midnight, however, when attackers returned, security forces dispatched an armored personnel carrier. It deterred the attackers, who moved away from the church.......

.....Human Rights Watch visited the remains of the Franciscan girl’s school and church in Bani Suef, 125 kilometers south of Cairo, which a mob attacked and burned on August 14. Father Boulos Fahmy, a Catholic priest affiliated with the school, said that at around 9 a.m. the nuns, who were alone at the school, contacted him by phone telling him that a mob was threatening the school. He notified the police, who sent a car to deter the attackers but it departed less than an hour later after a nearby police station came under attack, he said. The men returned soon after, looting and setting fire to the school and church. The men forced three nuns to leave the school and walked them through nearby streets, verbally abusing them. Local Muslim residents rescued the nuns from the mob and escorted them away to safety..........

..........Another Dalga resident, Sameer Lamie, 31, told Human Rights Watch that a crowd of men gathered outside his home before 9 a.m. A group of armed men eventually broke down his door and entered his house. He said the men shot his cousin Iskandar Doss twice, while Lamie, his mother, and Doss’s wife and daughter-in-law escaped by climbing to the roof. Lamie said the attackers fired birdshot at him, hitting him in his side with 13 pellets, and they hit his mother with a pellet under her eye. Lamie said he learned later that Doss died of his wounds. He said that no security forces or police arrived during the attack..........

.........In Minya city, residents, family members, and the Christian owner of the Mermaid boat restaurant, along the Minya city corniche, told Human Rights Watch that two Mermaid employees – Bishoy Mikhail, a Copt, and Ihab Ali Ahmed, a Muslim – died while hiding in the bathroom of the boat after a mob set it on fire. Human Rights Watch researchers visited the boat on August 19 and viewed the charred remains of shoes, pants, and a mobile phone on the floor of the bathroom...........

.........A Coptic shop owner in the Cairo neighborhood of Ezbet al-Nakhl died from gunshot wounds after a group of men attacked his shop, next to the Abu Siffin church, activists from the Maspero Youth Union told Human Rights Watch..........

.....Church clergy throughout Upper Egypt expressed frustration and desperation that security services did not quickly intervene to stop the widespread attacks. .......

Muslim Brotherhood's army of Al Qaeda terrorists thirst for Christian blood ...

and not just in Egypt.  The persecution of Christians is everywhere where the islamists know they can get away with it.  The Judeo-Christian nations make it even easier by not condemning the abuse, killing, persecution, rapes, acid attacks, burning of churches, etc. Instead, the Judeo-Christian nations send more funds and  more aid to those countries.  Yes ... it is indeed a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world of insane politicians, all escapees from either lunatic bins or the zoo.

John Rossomando writing at InvestigativeProject:

No sooner did security forces, backed by armored cars and bulldozers, clear encampments in the city's Nadha and Raba'a al Adiwiya squares did the Islamists turn to targeting Christian churches. Approximately 1,000 Muslim Brotherhood supporters set fire to the Churches of Abraham and the Virgin Mary in Menya.

Angry mobs also targeted churches, monasteries and other church properties in Alexandria, Suez and a number of other cities in Upper Egypt, according to Egypt's Al-Ahram.

Muslim Brotherhood members also firebombed Mar Geergiss Church, the main Coptic church in the southern Egyptian city of Sohag, burning it to the ground. Islamists had previously raised an al-Qaida flag over the church. St. Theresa Church in Assiut in Upper Egypt was also burned.

"It is a climate of violence," he added, "and the people are scared," Father Rafic Greiche, a Catholic Church spokesman in Egypt, told Vatican Radio........

Coptic Bishop Angaelos of UK on BBC

The vid was posted Aug 16.

Wanna see Muslim Brotherhood supporters in the USA, Canada, France and the UK who sanction killing of Christians in Egypt?

See them in all their glory in the four videos  below.

From InvestigativeProject:
Demonstrators who took to  Washington , D.C.'s Freedom Plaza Saturday to protest Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi's ouster spoke about supporting democracy and justice. This Investigative Project on Terrorism video report shows that granting the protesters' wish and restoring Morsi to power would be a step away from the democracy and justice they claim to seek.

Many of such vile supporters of an organization that wants to caliphate the world and  do away with infidels or force them to pay the jizya  or force them to convert to their insane cult, might be  your colleagues at work, at play, at school, at sports, at anything and everything you do in your daily life and you look at them as sane, normal people.  These sane and normal looking people are the very same people who are supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt  ....  a Muslim Brotherhood that used red graffiti to mark the walls and doorways of Christian homes, churches and businesses as an indicator for their supporters to burn, destroy, pillage, abuse and kill those within and without.

And, after you see the supporters of killers in the four vids in this blog post,  ask yourselves how is it that such people who condone the killing, raping, burning of Christians and their places of worship,  can still pretend to appear normal and pretend  to be your best buddy at work and outside the workplace.  The simple answer is "Taqiyya"  .... look it up and try to understand what it means and draw your own conclusions.

After you have seen the above vids of the kind of people the Immigration depts of all these countries have found fit to import to peaceful countries,  do you still think your elected leaders are working on your behalf and for the good of your country or do you feel they have been completely corrupted and want to remain in power no matter what and no matter from where or from whom they get the votes to keep them on their pedestals?

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood attack, burn, pillage, desecrate, destroy 50+ churches in less than 50 hours ....

and this is just the start. Besides attacking and destroying the churches,  the bastards also attacked Christian houses and Christian business and Christian schools ... burning them, pillaging them, attacking those inside and worse.

The Muslims destroy the churches in the lands they grabbed from Christians  and what do we do  for them here in Canada?  We build them their mosques, fund the mosques, give the mosques and all connected with the running of same ...tax breaks, allow the mosques and the imams within them to poison the minds of young Muslim immigrants and other citizens ... whether Muslim or not,  give the mosques any number of  permits to teach their book of lies, knowingly allow the imams to preach hate, knowingly make our police officers visit the mosques for "outreach" shit and  our politicians prance, skip and make like monkeys  for the Muslim vote.   How much more dirt can the non-Muslims lick while bending low, low, low at the feet of Muslims in order to placate and  please them????

While there are several reports and pics showing Muslims protecting churches from the hate-filled Muslim Brotherhood mobs,  if you look at those pictures they all show  the exact same church.  So...bottom line unless proven otherwise,  a few Muslims did really protect  a church  .... one church, PERIOD.   However, a handful of good, decent Muslims cannot hold back the majority of their crazed clan.

Erica Ritz at the Blaze has done a fantastic job of categorizing the attacks on Churches and Christian houses and businesses... I have not provided the umpteen number of links she has at each listing....you will have to access the first link below to get at the rest.

....A wave of devastating violence   swept through Egypt Wednesday as the government attempted to disband the supporters of ousted president Mohamed Morsi from their sit-ins.  According to the Associated Press, 638 people have now been confirmed killed, and nearly 4,000 are injured.

The fighting is far from limited to the Islamists and the military, however. Since Wednesday’s violence began, there have also been a wave of attacks on churches and Christian institutions........

They burn churches, persecute and kill Christians and yet deny they did those things.

Erica Ritz writing at the Blaze:
Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood has denied involvement    in the wave of attacks on churches and Christian institutions in this week’s violence.

“Based on the true nature of our religion, and pursuant to our party’s indivisible principles, we strongly condemn any attack, even verbal, against Copts, their churches or their property,” Dr. Murad Ali, a spokesman for the Brotherhood’s political arm, the Freedom and Justice Party, said in a statement...........

Sarah Sirgany and Laura Smith-Spark writing at CNN:
....'Horrible': Christian churches throughout Egypt stormed, torched. For 67 years, the Virgin Mary Church has been a peaceful refuge for Shenouda El Sayeh, much like the Giza province village of Hafr Hakim where it rests and where he has lived all those years.
But, as he swept its floors on Thursday, it was painfully obvious things had changed.
The night before, a mob -- chanting against Coptic Christians such as El Sayeh and calling for Egypt to become an "Islamic state" -- had torched and looted the Virgin Mary Church.
"I didn't expect this to happen," El Sayeh said....

Egypt's body count from 1st formal day of civil war = 525+, Injured = 3000+ Churches destroyed = 17+

Let's draw up a petition today addressed to our esteemed Canadian government to please fund and build more mosques in Canada because the hundreds of mosques already here are not enough to hold the muslims whose brothers are destroying churches in muslim lands.  For every church burned in Egypt, let's build a mosque for the  muslims in Canada.  It's how matters stand in a world gone completely mad.  The muzzies kill us and we give them the instruments with which to torture us before they snuff the life out of us.  What a beautiful world of utter stupidity!

From AlJazeera:
...Churches burned across Egypt following the security crackdown on pro-Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators. Online reports suggest up to 17 churches were burned across Egypt, along with other Christian-owned businesses and schools.

Coptic witnesses and religious leaders said the attacks were carried out by supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood in areas without police protection. In some areas, the attacks reportedly came amid ongoing fighting between security forces and supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood......

From TheBlaze:
....Supporters of ousted  President Mohammed Morsi set fire to churches around Egypt in apparent retaliation for the police dispersing the pro-Morsi demonstrations in Cairo. According to AFP, three churches were attacked, but other outlets place the number higher....

From Reuters:
...Egyptian authorities referred 84 people from the city of Suez, including Muslim Brotherhood members and supporters, to military prosecutors on Thursday on charges of murder and burning churches, the state news agency reported.....

From CNN:
....A day after ferocious clashes left more than 500 people dead in Egypt, clashes in Alexandria left four more people dead, state media reported. Elsewhere, protesters stormed a government building in Giza and blocked a road near the nation's iconic pyramids.
State-run Nile TV reported the Alexandria deaths occurred in fighting between Muslim Brotherhood members and residents of the city.

From RT:
Four journalists have been killed   in violent clashes which swept Egypt on Wednesday, with a number of the press core suffering serious injuries in the clashes. ...
...Deane, 61, was shot as he was documenting the turmoil in Cairo. Despite receiving medical treatment for his injuries he died shortly afterwards, according to a statement from Sky.  ....
....Habeeba Abdelaziz was a 26 year old Egyptian reporter from Dubai, who worked for XPRESS – a ‘sister’ publication to the country’s Gulf News.  ....
....The third journalist killed was Egyptian Ahmed Abdel Gawad of Al Akhbar newspaper. He died while covering the clashes  at Rabaah al-Adawiya. The Egyptian Press Syndicate, a journalist union, confirmed Gawad's death, but did not provide any details.
The fourth reporter to have been confirmed killed is photojournalist Mosab El-Shami Rassd of the news website (RNN), an alternative pro-Islamist media network, Ahram online reports. ....

Egypt erupts

Too much happening within the last few hours. Reports of over 100 people killed and more than 1000 injured are filtering in.  Among the dead are two TV reporters.  One a Britisher from SkyNews.  The other from Xpress who was holidaying in Egypt and not on assignment according to GulfNews.   There are some horrific vids on the internet today of scenes purporting to have happened in the last few hours but when dealing with muzzies one has to take everything they say with a sackful of salt.  Some of he vids look like they were filmed in Syria instead of Egypt ... that's  how much horror and bloodshed is to be seen in them. One shows dozens of bodies burning  and I pray they were all already dead and not burnt alive.

In the first vid below, the mad muzzies are storming the Church of St. George (supposedly in Assuit) and setting it on fire.  At least that's what the description to the vid says.  As I keep saying,  take everything coming from there with an open mind and the question  "Is this true?" at the front of your thoughts.

Below is an email that BBC's Live Text received a short while ago from a Cairo resident:
Yussre El Bardicy, Cairo emails:    I'm an Egyptian-American in the Cairo suburb of Abbasaya right now. My two brothers and father are flying in from the US tonight for my grandmother's funeral but no one will be able to pick them up because no one can get to the airport. Additionally, we tried contacting the tourism services to pick them up but all refused out of concern for their safety. We are not stepping one foot out of our apartment because conditions are that dangerous - a little ridiculous considering I want to attend my beloved grandmother's funeral.

The government has accused the protesters of packing the sites with their children to use them as human shields.

Persecution of Egyptian Christians take a nastier turn. 10-yr old Coptic child killed by sniper.

The first vid below from The Blaze is from a couple of months ago.   The second is from late last year.

From MorningStarEgypt:
A Coptic Christian girl walking home   from a Bible class at her church was shot and killed this week in Cairo by an unidentified gunman, human rights activists said today.
Amid a near-constant din of threats and scattered attacks against the Christian population in Egypt by militant political Islamists, the rights representatives said 10-year-old Jessica Boulous of the Ain Shams section of Cairo was killed early Tuesday evening (Aug. 6) while walking from the Ahmed Esmat Street Evangelical Church through a market to her home with her Sunday school teacher.

The teacher turned to buy an item at a market stall only to turn back and find Jessica lying in the dirt in a puddle of blood, rights activists said. A Muslim shopkeeper who knew Jessica saw her fall to the ground and ran to her side. He took off his shirt, wrapped it around her motionless body and rushed her to a hospital, but she was already dead.....

......No one has claimed responsibility for the killing. Zakaria, pastor of an evangelical  church in Egypt, said he didn’t know for sure if the shooting was religiously motivated but quickly added that violence against Christians “seems to be normal” in Egypt now.....

.....Violence or intimidation against Christians has become almost a daily occurrence in most parts of Egypt. In the aftermath of the protests that led to the removal of Mohamed Morsi as president, militant supporters of Morsi have publically scapegoated the Coptic Christian minority for the Islamic Brotherhood-backed president’s fall from power. Many have called for revenge against Christians. Less than 12 hours after the Egyptian military announced that it had expelled Morsi from office, reports of attacks against Christians by Morsi supporters began.
After numerous attacks for about a week and a half, there was a relative lull in the violence. But at the end of July, the pace picked up once more. The attacks were inspired, human rights activists said, by a near-constant stream of vitriol from Islamic leaders calling for retribution against the Copts.................

I have a confession to make

I am disappointed that only 36 fucking Egyptians got killed in the last couple of days.  Keeping my fingers crossed  that by the end of the day there will be at least a 100 dead and gone.  I won't be satisfied with a lesser number!

If Coptic Christians are also among the dead ... too bad.   They are the persecuted ones because their ancestors ceded Egypt to the muslims without thinking of the plight their descendants would be in ... just like the Christians in the West are about to do now.

Yeh .... I know, I know.   I am an evil, terrible, bad, obnoxious hag....you're not telling me anything new.

Egypt's Black Bloc

As far as I can see, secular Egyptians are at the losing end in Egypt ...it's over for them.  It's a total shame because Egypt, under Mubarak, was a country where different kinds of people were still able to get along and if they didn't the dictator was there to make sure they did by coming down hard on the aggressors.  The aggressors were almost always Islamists trying to show their might over the minority Copts and secular Egyptian Muslims.

Will the new movement calling themselves "Black Bloc"  be able to topple the Muslim Brotherhood??  Time will tell.  The MB has firm support not only from the USA but from the new caliphate of oil rich Libya with coffers full of an unending supply of  money.  Also, Qatar is firmly on their side, again with coffers of unending money dropped into its lap by the West.  Things are not looking good for secular Muslims in their own countries .... but surprise, surprise ....  when these same folks migrate to the West they morph very quickly into Islamists themselves.  Must be the water here.

One thing I am not fully able to grasp is the disconnect between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.  It appears that Saudi Arabia wants to force Sunni Wahhabism on all Sunnis and Qatar wants to force feed Sunni Salafism on all Sunnis.  What's the difference?  Does the Saudi shit  mean cutting off heads in one clean blow whereas the Qatari load gives allowance to headchoppers to take their own sweet time with the jugular?   Well...the good thing is;  after the ongoing Sunni/Shiite bloodshed we might be entertained with the Sunni Wahhabism/Sunni Salafism bloodbaths.  Good times ahead for us infidels to watch muzzies offing each other.

As at this moment in time, the Black Bloc has been designated  as a banned group  by the MB government and several people associated with the group are languishing in jail.

Don't associate Egypt's Black Bloc with the USA's group with the same name.  According to  this at CanadaFreePress, they are  exact opposites.  The USA one roots for the MB ... (must be Obama's secret army of hoodlums). hahahhaahah !

Ashraf Ramelah writing at GateStoneInstitute:
Clad in black, faceless in black ski masks,  the nameless Black Bloc soldiers lock arms to create a human shield in defense of pro-freedom protesters -- the Black Bloc's number-one priority -- in the streets and squares of Egypt. Expert in martial arts and ostensibly military-trained, Black Bloc warriors only recently surfaced in Egypt to safeguard fellow freedom-fighters from their arch-enemies, the foes of democracy: President Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas militia.

Originating out of a plan to protect women protesters from sexual assault, this huge band of men and women numbering in the thousands (the exact number is not known) form a dedicated and determined corps of combatants divided into local groups of 30-50 individuals in Egypt's communities. Self-described as "anti-Muslim-Brotherhood," and generated out of disgust toward years of police and military brutality, the Black Bloc is, for modern Egypt, a completely new phenomenon.

As participants in this well-organized system for safety and preservation, the secret members of the "elite" Black Bloc guard first appeared in the streets of Cairo this January, when revolutionaries commemorated their two-year anniversary with protests in Tahrir Square. Now everywhere the Egyptian opposition stages protests, the rank-and-file Black Bloc, whose leaders remain unknown to them, dutifully move in to police the area on behalf of fellow protesters.

Deemed "terrorists" and "outlaws" by the Morsi regime, the shadowy Zorro-like heroes refer to their network as the "United Ghosts Revolution" and represent a just cause in the ongoing rebellion against Egypt's Islamist government. The Black Bloc mission is to ensure that no more assaults, kidnappings, and torture occur from Morsi's security forces [the Muslim Brotherhood militia] and so-called law enforcement, and that a "camel gazwa," [invading crowds on galloping camels] as in the early days of the revolt, never takes place again. Many Black Bloc members carry firearms, most likely acquired through the illegal networks smuggling weapons from Libya and Gaza.

If the best defense is a good offense, the forceful Black Bloc has aggressively expanded its scope beyond the scene of gathered protesters and their protection. With a physical presence in more than eight cities across Egypt, the anonymous soldiers have claimed responsibility for ransacking at least eight separate Muslim Brotherhood Freedom and Justice Party offices.

At first, the shrouded Black Bloc raised the fears; the public saw them as terrorists. This wrong impression, however, was soon dispelled as their image as guardians took shape. Appearing first in the social media, the Black Bloc now has the moral support of more than 57,000 Facebook members for the purpose of countering Islamic supremacy and brutality.

Their core concern is to .........

Paging Office of Religious Freedom, Canada ... Why is our government sending millions of dollars to Egypt? Is a major quota of those funds allocated to the persecution, kidnapping, raping and killing of Christians in Egypt ???

Breathlessly awaiting your first report on the progress made by the ORF in stopping the genocide of Christians rampaging  through  EACH AND EVERY MUSLIM COUNTRY OF THE WORLD.  Why pray does our immigration department keep importing Muslims to Canada when Christians are the ones need rescuing????

Hamza Hendawi of AP via JapanTimes:
.....Abductors target Egypt’s Christians. T – Ezzat Kromer’s resistance to his kidnappers did not last long. One of the masked gunmen fired a round between his feet as he sat behind the wheel of his car and said with chilling calm, “The next one will go into your heart.”

The Christian gynecologist says he was bundled into his abductors’ vehicle, forced to lie under their feet in the back seat for a 45-minute ride, then dumped in a small cold room while the kidnappers contacted his family over a ransom. For the next 27 hours, he endured beatings, insults and threats to his life while blindfolded, a bandage sealing his mouth and cotton balls in his ears.

Kromer’s case is part of a dramatic rise of kidnappings targeting Christians, including children, in Egypt’s southern province of Minya, home to the country’s largest concentration of Christians but also a heartland for Islamist hardliners.

The kidnappings are mostly blamed on criminal gangs, which operate more freely amid Egypt’s collapse in security since the 2011 fall of autocratic President Hosni Mubarak. Crime has risen in general across Egypt, hitting Muslims as well. But the wave of kidnappings in Minya has specifically targeted Christians and victims, church leaders and rights activists ultimately blame the atmosphere created by the rising power of hardline Islamists.

They contend criminals are influenced by the rhetoric of radical clerics depicting Egypt’s Christian minority as second-class citizens and see them as fair game, with authorities less likely to investigate crimes against the community.

Over the past two years, there have been more than 150 reported kidnappings in the province — all of them targeting Christians, according to a top official at the Interior Ministry, which is in charge of the police. Of those, 37 have taken place in the past several months alone, the official said.

Kromer, a father of three, was snatched Jan. 29 as he drove home from his practice in the village of Nazlet el-Amoden. By the next day, his family paid 270,000 Egyptian pounds (nearly $40,000) to a middleman and he was released.............

Paging Office of Religious Freedom, Canada .... Egypt's Muslims are killing Coptic Christians

Dear ORF  ... How much foreign aid have we sent to Egypt to empower that Muslim country to mistreat, persecute and kill Christians?

Paging Office of Religious Freedom, Canada ... Remember Libya? Yup ... the one we took "democracy" to .... part 7

Dear ORF ... look at what these ingrates are doing to the Coptic Churches in Libya and to Copts who desire to live peacefully and follow their faith. Another letter is required.  I am sure a strongly worded letter, with lots more "please(s)" and "thank you(s)"  might do the trick.

From Reuters:
The Libyan embassy in Cairo  on Saturday suspended work for security reasons, days after Egyptians protested in front of the building over the death of an Egyptian Copt in Libya.
Tensions between the North African neighbours have risen after attacks on Egyptian Coptic targets in Libya and the burning of the Libyan flag by protesters in front of the embassy in Cairo this week.
"The embassy suspended all its consular and citizen services because (our) Coptic brothers demonstrated," embassy media adviser Abdul Hamid al-Safi told Reuters, saying such protests could lead to problems between demonstrators and Libyans. He said the embassy would halt work until the situation calmed.
On Thursday unknown assailants set an Egyptian Coptic church in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi ablaze, the second attack on the building in weeks. Gunmen had previously attacked it, assaulting two priests.

Residents said the attack appeared to be in reaction to the demonstration at the Libyan embassy, where apart from burning a flag, Egyptian protesters also held aloft a cross, according to police at the scene.
The demonstrators were protesting against the death of an Egyptian Copt in an explosion in front of a church in Libya a month ago.

Libya's small Christian community has expressed fears over Islamist extremism and the government is struggling to impose its authority over armed groups which have refused to lay down their weapons since the 2011 war that toppled Muammar Gaddafi.
In December, an explosion at a building belonging to a Coptic church in Dafniya, close to the western city of Misrata, killed two Egyptian men and wounded two others.

Paging Office of Religious Freedom, Canada .... "Democratic" Libya we helped create, arresting people for carrying Bibles .... Part 5

Pretty funny, eh?!  I wonder what part of  the "Democracy" that we took over there  they don't have a handle on yet !

From France24News:
Around 50 Egyptian Christians  suspected of trying to convert Muslims have been arrested in the eastern city of Benghazi on illegal immigration charges, a Libyan security official said on Friday.
"Forty-eight Egyptian traders who worked in the Benghazi municipal market have been arrested based on reports of suspect activities," the source told AFP on condition of anonymity.
He said they were found in possession of a quantity of Bibles, texts encouraging conversion to Christianity, and images of Christ and the late Pope Shenuda of Egypt's Coptic Christians, none of which were for "personal use."............

From ChristianityToday:
....Bishop Pachomios, the Coptic archbishop of Libya, told Egyptian newspaper Ahram that "it doesn't make sense that as many as 100 Egyptian Copts had decided to engage in proselytizing activities in another country."

The Egyptian Human Rights Union Organisation, chaired by Coptic Christian Najib Gabriel, has appealed to the Arab League for help in releasing those arrested. “When arrested, they were not engaged in proselytism," he told Gulf News. "They were just having pictures of the Christ and the (late Coptic) Pope Shenouda, things always carried by Christians to invoke blessings.”

On Thursday, Libya's prime minister urged militias, one of which is suspected to have arrested the Christians, to join government security forces. "Militias, however, often act with impunity, running their own prison cells, making arrests and taking confessions in total absence of state control and oversight," notes the Associated Press......
