Some of my tweets ... April 8 - 13


Friday, April 13 our time late evening, which was early hours of  Syria's Saturday April 14, we saw evil incarnate in the form of Donald Trump, Theresa May and Emmanuel Macron bombing Syria on the pretext of  an unproven CW attack by Assad.  

Here's hoping UK and France become fully islamized, and you know what, both are very near of being so in the very, very, near future.  Wonder what kind of revenge Muslims will  wreak on their offspring.... oh - forgot May and Macron have no kids, so they care two hoots what your kids and grandkids will be subjected to.  As for the idiot in USA, he's just that, an idiot.

After the downing of Russia's jet by Erdoganistan


I think France's Hollande has learnt a  bitter lesson after the terrorist attacks in Paris.  NOBODY can trust the USA to do the right thing in anything.  The EU has gone along with the bully empire in its quest to change the mapping of the Middle East and all in the hope of getting some scraps (oil fields, etc,etc) from the bully's table. The EU can salivate and drool for those scraps which are not likely to fall off the table, not ever.  While waiting for those scraps like dogs under a feasting table, the idiots have been bestowed instead with an invasion of bigger, fiercer dogs in the form of Muslim invaders in every nook and cranny of EU, while the instigator of all the wars that made the invasion possible, has the say-so on how many invaders refugees it will accept on its own soil.

Thus, we see poor Hollande, after pleading with the bully nation to give him permission to join up with Putin to try and do away with the jihadi scourge in Syria that Hollande has helped create, make his way to Moscow.  Obama probably sent him off with a "Make sure you say "Assad must go" understand?  That sentence MUST be included in every press conference."  And, of course, zombie Hollande does as master orders.  Ugly, ugly, ugly!
 
Make no mistake folks, everybody going in to "rid" the jihadis from Syria are going there to get a piece of the pie.  They don't want Assad around because they know that with Assad hanging around, Russia will get the biggest piece of the pie.  Some parts of the EU will be content to share the pie with Putin ... namely, France and Germany, maybe even UK (and only because of the new powerful opposition to Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn ).  Have
you seen how laden with oil some parts of Syria happen to be?  I had no idea Syria was sitting on such a huge sea of oil.

The above are my conclusions on the possibility of what we will likely see in the coming months. From the first two vids below, you can come to your own conclusions. I haven't watched the third one as yet, so no opinion.
And, oh yes ... expect a civil war in Turkey within the next two years, maybe sooner.  Karma is a bitch.

What are French Muslims saying? How are the refugees taking the renewed hatred towards them ...



all due  to the pitiful state they have been reduced to because of the satanic powers-that-be at the helm of our planet?

On my recent sojourn to parts of the EU, I saw refugees in Greece, Italy and Turkey who have been reduced to begging.  In Turkey the cruel govt there makes them wear a cardboard sign around their necks which says in English "I am a Syrian refugee" ... how demeaning is that!  Erdogan wants to show that the only beggars in Turkey happen to be Syrians and Turks are well fed and taken care of.  That might be the case, but it was still saddening to see such signs on human beings. I managed to speak to a refugee, a man wearing the sign around his neck and accompanied by a little girl of around 7 years or so.  He told us that he was from a village in Hama which was invaded by ISIS 2 years ago.  We had learnt to carry with us packaged goodies to pass around to the unfortunates we came across along with a few coins.  We also met a woman in Athens with a horde of kids.  If you had seen the sorrow in her eyes you would have been touched too ... unless you have lost all trace of humanity you have ever had.
Surprisingly, we didn't see Syrian refugees in the part of Spain (Catalonia) we visited. Perhaps because African refugees have set up shop there (lots of them as street hawkers) seen in touristy areas.
The  outlying area of France we visited was sparsely populated and although I did hear Arabic spoken here and there I concluded the speakers were Lebanese citizens of France.

As far as I am concerned, giving refuge to refugees in Canada is nothing to be afraid of as long as they are fully vetted and only families gain access and no single young men are let in ... because those are the ones who might be from ISIS.  Some of the churches in Toronto have already started sponsoring refugee families running away from conflicts in Africa. (Syria is not the only country with an outflow of refugees).

I wonder if Charlie Hebdo will print a "sex tape" cartoon of the France citizens killed in the terrorist attack of November 13 ...


something on the lines of their turd titled "Crash dans le Sinai  - Enfin la Sextape"  after the Russian plane crash and the horrific death of 224 innocent passengers.
Come on Charlie Hebdo Shithole ... show us your "talent" and "humor"  with a "sextape" on your own dead citizens ?

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has once again prompted outrage in Russia by publishing a cartoon on its new cover that likens the crash of the Russian Metrojet liner in Egypt’s Sinai peninsula to a sex act.

The latest issue landed on newsstands on Wednesday with a cover cartoon showing what appears to be the Russian A321 liner with a missile penetrating its tail. The caption reads “The crash in Sinai: Finally the sex tape.”

The magazine, which often prints controversial depictions of current events, also published cartoons of the crash, which killed 224 people, in its issue last week. The cartoons were received with great offense in Russia: The Kremlin branded them “sacrilege” while members of parliament in Russia labeled the artists “scumbags” and called for a media campaign, mocking France......

What are the bets that weapons used by jihadis in Paris were French-made and supplied to the "moderates" in Syria?

The moment I heard about the terrorist attacks in Paris, I thought of what Assad had said about 3 years ago on the stupidity of the West in supporting terrorists groups.  He is on record as saying that "terrorism is like a scorpion that you can't keep in your pocket without it stinging you" or words to that effect.
He had predicted almost 3 years ago that the West's support of his enemies intention to destablize Syria and bring about his govt's downfall would backfire with the jihadis turning against their masters and bringing terror to the "heart of Europe and the US" ... and lo and behold, it has come to pass .... at least the first part of it....for now.

Today it is doing the same in Syria, Libya and other places, and will pay a heavy price in the heart of Europe and the United States."

Assad’s interview also comes within a week of jihadist extremists the Al Nusra Front swearing support to Al-Qaeda’s commander Ayman al-Zawahiri, who’s idea it had been initially to turn Syria into an Islamic state.

The president continued to say that Syria was “facing a new war, a new method, with fighters, some of whom are Arabs, not Syrians," and that the "army is not fighting a war to liberate Syrian territory, but a war on terror."

While the president did say that progress was being made, he also pointed toward some “big powers, in particular the United States, that do not accept countries to be independent; they want them to be submissive." Although the West has claimed on occasion not to be supporting Al-Qaeda, Assad added that "everyone who carries weapons and attacks civilians is a terrorist, be they Al-Qaeda or not."....

Wasn't France's government eagerly funding, arming and training the jihadis so they could continue committing  those atrocious acts in Syria?  Hadn't we heard and seen aplenty what the "moderates" did with their weapons and how equally good they were at headchopping and maybe even better than their wahhabi shits in ISIS in making friends with influential people both in the USA and France?  Don't we know that the thousands of tonnes of state-of-the-art weapons were sold by the West's beloved "moderates" to the West's less beloved ISIS and to anyone having the money to buy the goodies?

Speaking after an EU meeting, Francois Hollande said the rebels had given guarantees that weapons would not fall into the wrong hands.

France and the UK want the EU to lift its arms embargo, but Germany says it has not yet decided if it agrees....

France admits it    directly supplied arms to Syrian “rebels”
President François Hollande confirmed in a Le Monde interview on August 19 that France has been directly supplying arms to the “rebels” of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in its proxy war to remove the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. This came ahead of the recent US decision to intervene militarily in Syria, ostensibly to crush the Islamic State (IS) opposition militia operating in Iraq and Syria.

French imperialism has been arming Syrian Islamist opposition forces since at least the spring of 2013. According to Le Monde, it provided weapons including 12.7-mm machine guns, rocket launchers, body armour and communications equipment—but “ nothing”, according to a Le Monde source, “which ‘could have been turned against us’ such as explosives”. The same weapons are also being shipped to the Peshmerga Kurdish militias in northern Iraq to stop the progress of the IS takeover, a direct product of the US war in Iraq.........

It is always the innocent citizens of the Western world who suffer the most for the disastrous foreign policy actions taken by the bastards they naively elect to high office.  The bastards never ever give a thought of what could happen to their own citizens if things didn't go according to their macabre roadmap to regime changes here, there, everywhere.  As long as they can make millions for themselves by shovelling big contracts to the armament making corporations, all's well with their world.
 
How many Western politicians have been killed by jihadis to date?  Any you know of? 
How many ordinary citizens of the West have been sacrificed to date because the bastards in power think of us as fodder and nothing more? 
Would the EU, and to a lesser extent, North America, be faced with the refugee/migrant invasion we see today if not for the idiots placed in high office?
Would there be so many wars all over the MidEast if we had true patriots as politicians instead of lackeys with their tongues hanging out for a taste of the riches offered by Israel and Saudi Arabia in return for fighting wars on their behalf?
Those who carry water for foreign powers and are clamoring for the break-up of Syria, please don't whine now about Muslim refugees/migrants flooding your lands, looting your homes and raping your women. You contributed to this crisis.  STFU and enjoy the future.

Truth is always extremely difficult to swallow and that's the reason why so many prefer to keep their heads firmly lodged in the sand.

France, slowly but surely becoming more and more like Saudi Arabia


How long before this kind of virus is detected here in North America? In the UK, they already have their certain days and hours for "women only" at public recreation centres... and although not much in the news, I suspect the same could be already happening in some corners of other EU nations as well as in North America.
Don't forget to thank your favorite politician the next time he or she comes knocking at your door for your vote.  All are cut from the same cloth but we get fooled every single time.

Outrage over Muslim gender ban in French grocery store

A Muslim-owned grocery store in the southeastern French city of Bordeaux has prompted outrage after putting up a sign imposing male and female-only days for customers.

The shop displayed a sign in the window asking “sisters” to come on Saturdays and Sundays, and “brothers” to visit on weekdays.

The shop owner, Muslim convert Jean-Baptiste Michalon, insisted he had acted in good faith and was not telling customers when they could or couldn’t visit his shop.

“We did this in response to requests from ‘sisters’ who preferred to come when my wife is working,” he told AFP. “We do also sell clothes here.”

“It was a sign meant entirely for clients who understand that mixing of sexes is not permitted in our [Muslim] religion,” Michalon, a recent convert to Islam, said. “It was not meant to be compulsory. I had no idea that it was against the law.”

Under the French penal code, discrimination on the grounds of gender is punishable by fines of up to 45,000 euros and a maximum of three years in jail.

Bordeaux mayor Alain Juppé, who was prime minister under former conservative president Jacques Chirac, said the sign was “in complete contradiction to republican rules on equality and gender mixing” and called for an inquiry.

Tareq Oubrou, the imam of the city’s main mosque, was shocked by the shop sign.

“Even during the era of the prophet there were no such rules,” he told France 3 TV. “It’s a bit strange to try to apply [gender separation] in a culture where equality has been firmly established. Maybe the shop owner’s choice was personal, rather than theological.”..........

We have all become Charlie Hebdo now thanks to our nitwit, braindead politicians


Here's what I had said about Charlie Hebdo on September 19, 2012 when France had decided to close its embassies and
schools in 20 Muslim countries fearing a backlash in those countries after publication of a batch of cartoons showing the plague of  islam insanity.  And, today, I stand by everything I said then. It is becoming more and more apparent that the unbridled immigration of illiterate refugees and immigrants from Muslim countries is the cause of terrorism and loss of personal freedoms, especially the freedom of speech, in Judeo-Christian countries.  Moreover, the damn political correctness from the damn ruling elite is one of the main causes we are in this mess. 

 I am feeling sorry for the anguish and survivor guilt the woman who let in the murdering muslim scum must be going through. Hopefully, there's more to that story which will come out later and we will learn that there was nothing she could have done different.

French, world leaders condemn attack at Charlie Hebdo.
 French and world leaders have strongly condemned a shooting at the offices of satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in which at least 12 people were killed. Thousands turned out across French cities Wednesday night in solidarity with the victims.

 There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack at the Charlie Hebdo weekly, whose caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed have frequently drawn protest from Muslims.

 The Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed that 12 people had so far been killed, including four of France’s best-known cartoonists and the magazine’s director, Stéphane Charbonnier (also known as Charb). A further 11 people were reportedly injured, four of them critically.

 France has raised its security alert to its highest level and reinforced protective measures at houses of worship, stores, media offices and on public transportation while government officials convened for an emergency meeting.

 In a televised address on Wednesday evening, Hollande said the attack was an attack on all of France and on the ideal of freedom of expression. He declared a day of national mourning on Thursday for the victims.

 Police said that some 15,000 people had gathered at Place de la République in Paris Wednesday evening in a show of solidarity with the slain and injured journalists. People also flocked to Twitter to show their support online using the #JeSuisCharlie hashtag.

 Tens of thousands braved the cold night in other cities across France. The police prefecture estimated that between 13,000 and 15,000 paid homage to the Charlie Hebdo victims in Rennes while another 10,000 turned up in both Toulouse and Lyon, local authorities said.......

France deploys troops in its streets


After the many recent Muslim attacks,  the government has decided to up the security measures across the country.  According to the many French dhimmis, the latest attack had nothing to do with islam but everything to do with the man's mental illness.  What can you expect when islamists are banging their heads on the terra firma umpteen times a day? The casing for our brain is not meant to be dashed against the ground  like the Muslims do during their constant prayer sessions. If the medical profession was truthful and stopped being politically correct,  it would have brought out a study showing how the constant striking of one's forehead against  a solid surface can in time damage the brain and the mental problems the Muslim males suffer from are mainly due to that and more so when coupled with their koran.  No segment of our non-drug taking population has more mental problems than the Muslim male so why is that fact not made well-known to all, especially to the Muslims?

France is boosting  security during the Christmas holidays employing up to 300 soldiers across the country, Prime Minister Manuel Valls says. The move follows three successive and violent attacks in separate cities.

 "The number of patrols will be increased during this [Christmas] period. Two hundred to three hundred soldiers will be deployed in the coming hours," PM Manuel Valls said live on TV after an emergency meeting with ministers on the recent violence.

 The attacks started on Saturday when a man armed with a knife shouting "Allahu Akbar” stabbed three officers at a police station in Joue-les-Tours near Tours in central France. He was killed by police officers, according to the country's Interior Ministry. Police confirmed that he was born in Burundi, Africa, in 1994, but was a French citizen.

 French prosecutors said the Dijon attacker had no terrorist motives. He has a long history of severe mental illness, receiving psychiatric care over 150 times in the past 13 years. The authorities found no link between his actions and the attack on Saturday in Joue-les-Tours......

against South Korea.  The Algerians got 4 against South Korea's 2.  Lots of Algerians in France, eh?  That's what happens when you colonize other countries,  the citizens of the colonized countries become the citizens of the "boss" country.  Hmmmm .... the hell that's created when first one learns to go forth and loot the wealth and what not of other countries, eh?

Russia to USA and NATO : " We learnt from you. Thank You for the lesson and did you notice we did it without bloodshed unlike yourselves" .....


that's what Putin seem to be saying now while bombarding documentary after documentary showing  NATO bombing of Serbia.  The new documentary "The Serbian Tragedy: 15 Years" is below .... and the one RT had shown 5 years ago titled:"Serbia ...10 years on" is the third vid at the bottom.

 It's so refreshing to see that a major power on our good Earth has taken it upon itself to show the hypocrisy of the West to the West.

 State television and newspapers used the anniversary of the start of the bombing campaign to depict the West as hypocritical for saying Crimea has no right to secede from Ukraine when NATO used force to help Kosovo escape Slobodan Milosevic's clutches.

A special program on state TV called "The Serbian Tragedy: 15 Years" hammered home Russia's message that the United States and NATO are to blame for redrawing global borders, encouraging separatism and flouting international law.

 "The result of the NATO aggression was the final collapse of Yugoslavia and the unilateral declaration of Kosovo's independence to applause from Washington and most European capitals," government newspaper Rossiiskaya Gazeta said.

"One can only wonder at the overt hypocrisy of Western politicians who now accuse Russia - which Crimea has joined as the result of a popular referendum, and practically without a shot fired - of violating international law," it said.

 Serbia, a largely Orthodox Christian nation with historic ties to Russia, lost control of Kosovo province when NATO launched bombing raids to halt Serbian atrocities and "ethnic cleansing" in a counter-insurgency war under Milosevic.

The wonderful world of islamized France ....


where Muslims tell their fellow Muslims to boycott the coming elections.
I love it when the Western nations get slapped around by Muslims. One gets what one deserves. Enjoy the hard hits, Frenchies.  The funny part is that the politicians who suck up to these guys won't even get any votes from them.  Tsk, Tsk  ... so much sucking for nothing.  Sad!

A few days ago, Anâ-Muslim called on Muslims to boycott French municipal elections, which will take place on March 23 and 30. They explain this decision by using various religious arguments and by saying that for a Muslim person, “voting is an act of submission … while abstaining is an act of resistance”.

 On its website, the organisation explains that this campaign is aimed at Muslim people between 18 and 40 years old. They argue that refusing to participate in French politics is a way to “preserve their faith”: “Voting means recognising the power of men on earth and giving them absolutely sovereignty to create their own laws that have nothing to do with Islam.” The organisation’s goal, as described in their mission statement, is to “teach Islam to Muslims … because Muslims are the only ones who can control their destiny … and contribute to Islam’s resurgence so that humanity may be saved”.....

How the "Judeo-Christian" nations and their allies in the Middle East have helped bring back the dark ages to the Christians in Syria


Shame on the Christians here in the West, whether you are a practicing Christian or not,  shame on you for going along with your government in the funding and arming of the terrorists in Syria. Shame!!

...The religious persecution in Syria deepened this week, as evidenced by a written ultimatum purportedly distributed by the rebel jihadist group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) to Christians in the northern provincial capital of Raqqa. Rejecting conversion to Islam or death, some 20 Christian leaders of that city held firm in their faith and submitted to the Islamists’ demands to live by as dhimmis.

Under this arrangement, in exchange for their lives and the ability to worship as Christians, they must abide by purported seventh-century rules of the Caliph Umar. According to the Raqqa ultimatum, these include bans on renovating and rebuilding churches and monasteries, many of which need repair because they’ve been shelled and blown up over the past three years, and bans against the public display of crosses and Christian symbols and the ringing of bells. They are forbidden from reading scripture indoors loud enough for Muslims outside to hear, and the practice of their faith must be confined within the walls of their remaining churches, not exercised publicly (at, for example, funeral or wedding processions).

 They are prohibited from saying anything offensive about Muslims or Islam. The women must be enshrouded, and alcohol is banned.

 And the Raqqa Christians, who numbered about 3,000 before the conflict diminished them through migration and deaths, must henceforth pay the jizya, or Islamic protection money. The ultimatum sets the jizya at four golden dinars for the rich, two for those of average income, and one for the poor, twice annually, for each adult Christian.........

Qatar helped broker the release of kidnapped nuns


Ahh ....  so perhaps one of the Sunni sheikhdoms does not hate Assad as much as the others. Hmmmm. Divide and conquer ... it does work!

The Syrian Christian nuns from Maaloula who were kidnapped   by the forces in the pay of the laughingly termed "Judeo-Christian" nations and their allies in the Middle East, were released after nearly 4 months in captivity.

...The overnight release of 13 Syrian nuns in a prisoner exchange provides a rare bright spot for the country’s beleaguered Christians, who have faced increasing persecution lately.

 The nuns, kidnapped by Al Qaeda-linked rebels late last year, were reportedly freed in exchange for the release of regime prisoners, although the details remain unclear.

 Qatari officials as well as the Assad regime reportedly helped broker the agreement that allowed the nuns to return home to Syria early today after being kidnapped from their monastery in Maaloula, north of Damascus, in December.

 But overall the situation for Syria’s Christians has deteriorated, particularly in the northern city of Raqqa, where a jihadist group recently forced local Christians to choose between converting to Islam, paying a protection tax, or being killed.........

When "democratic" countries use tear gas and water cannons on protesters .... shhh STFU, it's all okay


Amazing isn't it...the hypocrisy?  Look, I don't like protesters using violence against the police or breaking shop windows and other public property ... what gets in my craw and sticks there, is that the hypocrisy of the politicians in the West  is so very blatant when they don't criticize the governments of their buddy-buddy countries for using tough measures on civilian protesters but scream loud enough to burst eardrums a mile away  when similar methods are used by their non-buddies.  The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife, nay ... one will need a hatchet to cut through it.

...Protesters opposed to plans to build a new airport in the French city of Nantes smashed shop windows Saturday and hurled paving stones at police, who answered with tear gas and water cannons.

 The protesters are opposed to the airport as it is set to be built on protected swampland.
Thousands swarmed the picturesque western city's central Petite Hollande square, the latest in a string of demonstrations against the pet project of Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault. 
Local government estimates there were 20,000 protestors present while protest organisers estimate that there were closer to 50,000 people........

....Riot police moved into the western French city of Nantes on Saturday, clashing with hundreds of anarchists who broke shop windows, destroyed bus stops and pillaged the city centre.
At least eight police officers were hospitalized after violent confrontations with up to 1,000 "radicals," the prefecture of the Loire-Atlantique region said. Fourteen people were detained......

....The mayor of the western city of Nantes said he will sue over damage caused during protests on Saturday against a major airport development. Around 20 protesters and 10 police officers were injured when the demonstrations turned violent.
More than 20,000 people turned out to the largely peaceful protest against the 580-millino euro Notre-Dame-des-Landes airport project, which was given the final go ahead two months ago.

 However, some protesters smashed shop windows, trashed a post office and the local offices of Vinci, the construction contractor. Police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
The socialist mayor of Nantes, Patrick Rimbert, said he is suing “X” – unidentified protesters – as demonstrators had been urged to follow a planned protest route.

What happened to the Cross pendants the Syrian nuns had around their necks ?


Do you think the terrorist kidnappers of the nuns.... the lowlives who are in the pay of Saudi Arabia, the USA, UK, France, Turkey and other nations .... do you think they tore those Crosses from the nuns' attire or do you think the terrified nuns have hidden them in order not to antagonize those in the pay of the USA and other supposedly "Judeo-Christian" nations?

.....In a new video of the 12 Christian nuns  kidnapped by rebels in Syria (see below), the nuns sit in a room while being questioned by an unseen man, presumably one of the captors. He asks them how they are, if they’ve been mistreated, etc. They respond that they are being treated fine, that they very much look forward to returning to their convent, that they heartily thank the world for its concern, and that they continually pray that God grant peace to all nations.

Their words say one thing, their expressions and demeanor another. Put differently, as female captives of Islamic jihadis, what else could they say but what they were told to say? Even if one of them dared to say the “wrong thing,” their captors naturally would have edited it out. Who knows how many takes it took to get the video—which includes a bizarre clip of the nuns having a snowball fight with their abductors—just right?

 But one thing, although minor, speaks volumes about the nature of their captivity: Although these nuns, in photos prior to the kidnapping, generally wear large pectoral crosses, the crosses are not visible in the recent video. No surprise here, considering the “pious” nature of their captors. According to strict Islamic teaching, Christians and other non-Muslims cannot display any signs or expressions of their “polytheism” (shirk in Arabic). Indeed the Conditions of Omar, which mainstream Muslim teaching attributes to the second caliph of the same name, clearly spells this out........

Crosstalk on Ukraine


I now understand why the West has created trouble in Ukraine and why France, Germany, USA, UK, Canada and other NATO powers want Ukraine to join up with the EU.  Once Ukraine joins EU, it will also become a NATO member and a NATO member with   impressive military might when compared to many other countries of the  EU.  Why do you think the EU wanted Turkey in the EU .... same reason, its military might.   

 The West is preparing itself  for the ultimate war ....soon to be upon us.

Russian Muslims calling for uprising to overthrow the Kremlin


If it comes to the crunch, I bet the Western countries will support the Muslims because they want Russia's influence to be diminished.  "Always support the savages" that the motto of our overlords.  Right and Wrong is not something that occupies a Western politicians's mind,  not even for a moment.  It's always about who can be on top and who should not be allowed to.

....Militants tell Russians to rebel against Kremlin or face attacks.  A militant group that claimed responsibility for last month's suicide bombings in Volgograd which killed at least 34 people told Russians on Saturday to rebel against President Vladimir Putin or face further attacks.

 The warning, which came two weeks before the Winter Olympics in Russia's southern city of Sochi, does not mention the Games.

 But the group - which identified itself as Vilayat Dagestan from the northern Caucasus region where Moscow has battled an insurgency for over a decade - last week warned Putin to expect a "present" at the event.

 Putin has staked much personal and political prestige on the Games in Sochi, on the western edge of the Caucasus mountains. The event is expected to cost Russia more than $50 billion and is intended to show how far the country has come since the collapse of the communist Soviet Union in 1991.

 In a statement posted on its website on Saturday, Vilayat Dagestan said the two Volgograd bombings, of a train station and a trolley bus, were a response to "atrocities carried out by the disbelievers on the ground of the Caucasus".

 "Gone are the days when it was possible to destroy Muslims gratuitously," it said. "Today, one mujahid could destroy dozens or even hundreds of people in your cities. And do not think that these are isolated cases and that you will not feel the losses. The number of such bombings will only grow, and they will overtake many of you.".......
