Egypt on way to becoming Saudi Arabia on steroids

Wait and watch. This is just one of the many, many, many, many such tales that will unfold and keep unfolding in the Caliphate of Egypt.  No sooner does a Shariah implementer gains control of the country, out come the Muslim Nazis  claiming to be from the "The Committee for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.”    Nice going, right?!   Don't forget that Obama and Hillary are the architects and the main shills for and on behalf  of this new Egypt.

.....The story began some time ago and culminated with the murder of the young man in the Suez governorate east of Cairo. It was narrated by his fiance yesterday in front of the public prosecutor.
She was sitting with Ahmed in a garden in the Port Tawfiq area between 7:30pm and 8:30pm. Suddenly, three men with long beards, two of them wearing white robes over short white trousers, appeared on a motorcycle.

“One of them asked me, ‘You girl, why are you sitting in a dark place? Where are you from and what is your name?’” she recalled. They did not notice that Ahmed was sitting next to her.
“‘Wearing makeup! God forbid!’” another man joined in, and “muttered some words in formal Arabic that I could not understand,” she added.

When the men noticed Ahmed’s presence, one of them asked him, “Who is this and what is your relation to her?” Ahmed replied, “What business is it of yours? She is my fiance and maternal cousin.”

They demanded proof and Ahmed showed them his engagement ring. But one of them replied, “Then, she is a stranger to you.

This made Ahmed angry and he tried to push them away. But one perpetrator took out a stick he was carrying and started beating the young man.  They scuffled. Then another attacker took out a sharp object he had in his pocket and stabbed Ahmed in the stomach. Then they ran away....

....As for the perpetrator, he boasted about his crime in an unconfirmed statement issued by something called “The Committee for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice” that was shared by several people on social media sites.....

....Finally, it promised to “initiate an internal investigation with the committee member who caused the young man’s death. Even though we know he did not mean it at all.” It also pledged to “search its members meticulously before the start of their campaigns [patrols], to ensure that they do not carry any weapons.”....

....President of al-Gamaa al-Islamiyya’s Building and Development Party Safwat Abdul Ghani, maintained that the discussion about the emergence of the committee in Egypt is a controversy fabricated by the media.
The accusations against the Islamists were dismissed not only by the Islamic parties but even by their opponents.......

Muslims' second favorite hobby after headchopping is destruction of heritage sites

The blasted idiots are so very illiterate and downright stupid, they even destroy edifices belonging to their own cult.  If not for the fact that they interfere in our lives here in our own countries, these damn fools would be a constant source of never-ending hilarity with their clownish antics and  behaviour patterns that are  funnier than a murder of crows lamenting their dead.   I have seen such a spectacle and it's funny, but only if you are watching from behind a glass window several yards away.

Dr.Pipes at his blog on July 2.   For links to all statements in the list, please visit his blog.
The Islamist destruction underway in Timbuktu (including the tomb of Sidi Mahmoudou, d. 955, and the doors of the Sidi Yahya Mosque, ca. 1400) raises a question: What is it about Islam that so often turns its adherents against their own patrimony? Consider some examples:
The destruction of Hindu temples in medieval India.
The Mamluks using the Great Sphinx of Egypt as target practice and the Great Pyramid as a quarry.
The Turkish destruction of churches in northern Cyprus since 1974.
The Saudi destruction of antiquities in Mecca since the 1990s,
The Palestinian sacking of the Tomb of Joseph in 2000.
The Taliban destruction of the Bamiyan Buddha in 2001.
Al-Qaeda's bombing of Ghriba synagogue in Tunisia in 2002,
The pillaging of Iraqi museums, libraries, and archives in 2003.
The destruction of an historic Malaysian Hindu temple in 2006.
The destruction of L'Institut d'Égypte in 2011.
In addition, some intentions to destroy antiquities (Khomeini contemplated razing Persepolis, a grand mufti of Egypt banned exhibiting statues) might yet be realized. (On the other hand, the story about Muslims burning the ancient Library of Alexandria appears apocryphal.)
Although these examples include both non-Muslim and Muslim artifacts, motives differ in the two cases: eliminating infidel remnants establishes the superiority of Islam, while eliminating Muslim ones establishes the superiority of Islamism. In both cases, the motive is foul and the results are, historically speaking, tragic.

Obama kills Roll Your Own cigarette business with help from Montana senator

This move will benefit the big manufacturers.  Wonder how much they will donate to Obama's campaign now.  They owe him big.  They also owe big to the senator from Montana, Max Baucus.

A tiny amendment buried in the federal transportation bill to be signed today by President Barack Obama will put operators of roll-your-own cigarette operations in Las Vegas and nationwide out of business at midnight.

Robert Weissen, with his brothers and other partners, own nine Sin City Cigarette Factory locations in Southern Nevada, including six in Las Vegas, and one in Hawaii. He said when the bill is signed their only choice is to turn off their 20 RYO Filling Station machines and lay off more than 40 employees.

"We'll stay open for about another week to sell tubes and tobacco just to get through our inventory, but without the use of the RYO machines, we won't be staying open," he said. The machines are used by customers who buy loose tobacco and paper tubes from the shop and then turn out a carton of finished cigarettes in as little as 10 minutes, often varying the blend to suit their taste. Savings are substantial - at $23 per carton, half the cost of a name-brand smoke - in part because loose tobacco is taxed at a lower rate.......

....."These cigarettes don't have any of the chemicals in them, and the papers are chemical-free, unlike the cartons people buy from Philip Morris."...

......."I feel it's kind of shaky,'' Wiessen said. "The man who pushed for this bill is Sen. (Max) Baucus from Montana, and he received donations from Altria, a parent company of Philip Morris. Interestingly enough, there are also no RYO machines in the state of Montana. It really makes me question the morals and values of our elected speakers.".....

Time to ban face-covering burkhas and save kids from nightmares and stores from burglars

Lots of links in the article below to backup why a  ban on the wearing of the full burkha, the type  which covers the wearer's face entirely or has a slit for eyes only, should be put into effect immediately.

I find  people who say things like "we don't force nudists to wear clothes, do we?"  or "different people wear different clothes, what about saris?"  or "traditional dress is a part of the diversity"  to be stupid, ignorant fools.  Furthermore, women wearing saris outside of  their own sari-wearing nations, look ridiculous ... especially if they have those big fat  bellies sticking out like mountains of lard, but they at least show their faces so we can somewhat forgive them for making us look at their ugly naked midriffs.

The face covering  burkha is a mask that is  effectively used in robberies by male perpetrators for any number of crimes.  If a person wearing a mask would rightly be denied access to places which could be held up,  then why not a burkha wearing entity??????

David J Rusin writing at PJMedia
Some scoff at the idea that face-covering Islamic veils endanger public safety in any Western nation, let alone the United States, but Philadelphians do not have the luxury of blissful ignorance. As recent events highlight, their city has become the American epicenter of robberies and murders carried out by criminals disguised as fundamentalist Muslim women. Several factors help explain Philadelphia’s place at the forefront of this trend. Will other U.S. cities be next?

The latest wave of burqa banditry to target Philadelphia began at a branch of More Bank in the East Oak Lane neighborhood two days before Christmas. Following similar heists on January 6, March 14, March 20, and April 4, the Philadelphia Police Department and FBI issued a wanted flier for a pair of black males in “Muslim-like clothing covering their heads and bodies.” Surveillance images indicate that the outfits include face veils (niqabs) and “burqa-like robes,” to quote one news item, leaving just the eyes visible. The same Wells Fargo branch struck on April 4 was then hit again on April 13, after which Muslim groups offered $20,000 for information leading to the perpetrators. No arrests or further bank robberies have been reported.

The criminal applications of this attire also were on display during an April 18 homicide at a barbershop in Upper Darby, a township bordering West Philadelphia. Police believe that a love triangle inspired Sharif Wynn to enter with a gun and demand money from the barber, Michael Turner. Wynn insists that he merely meant to scare the man, but officers say that he shot Turner intentionally at point-blank range. The police superintendent has revealed that the attacker was "dressed in Muslim female garb, was covered from head to toe. The only thing that was showing was his eyes." Authorities identified Wynn through interviews and his electronic trail.

Though assembling a complete history of niqab-aided crimes is hindered by the unknown consistency of media reporting, the seven incidents outlined above appear to be the most that the Philadelphia area has suffered in any four-month period to date. However, the city earned its reputation as a burqa banditry hot spot long before this recent spike.

The worst episode occurred on May 3, 2008, when three Muslim men — two dressed in female Islamic apparel and face veils — held up a Bank of America branch inside a supermarket in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. Police Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski gave chase, only to be shot to death by robber Howard Cain, whom officers killed shortly thereafter. Cain’s accomplices were caught, convicted of murder, and sentenced to life..........

Ethical Oil announces the Winners of the 2012 OPEC Lobbyist awards

Ethical Oil Org  named the  first three recipients of  their much vied-for "Lobbyist for OPEC" 2012 awards  at a marvellous  glittering burqa  ceremony on July 3.  No, the recipients  were not the CBC, Globe&Mail nor the TorontoStar.  Better luck next time guys.

Needless to say, the awards ceremony was visited by bullies who tried to shut it down.

The Master of Ceremonies started off this ground-breaking first ever event of  it's kind, by announcing that:

In Canada there are thousands of people who work to advance OPEC’s interests. The amazing thing is, most of them do so unwittingly.

Canadians will continue to need oil for decades to come. So when radical activists campaign to stop Canadian industry and infrastructure development, they are actually campaigning to continue Canada and the world’s reliance on oil from OPEC’s tyrants.

To acknowledge the work of OPEC’s surrogates in Canada, EthicalOil.org hosted the inaugural OPEC Lobbyists of the Year Awards to acknowledge those who have truly stood out in advancing OPEC’s interests in Canada over the past year.........

The Fountainhead

Gary Cooper acts as Howard Roark and Patricia Neal as Dominique Francon.
Have you ever seen a movie that was based on a book you liked  that satisfied you?  This one also won't.  Somewhere towards the end is Howard Roark monologue which is the best part of the movie, IMO.

If you don't wish to watch the movie, just watch this part of it:

The Obama crash

Victor Davis Hanson writing at PJMedia
I have a confession to make:  I don’t quite understand the jubilation among the conservative-Republican forces during the last two months of the Obama crack-up, and here, unfortunately, is why:...........

The new immigrants Jason Kenney is importing, fail even the most simplest of tests

No matter how tough or heartless or a stickler for  rules and regulations that the Immigration Minister Jason Kenney's persona is at pains to portray,  his department is still importing  the kind of immigrants and approving the kind of refugees who will ultimately, by a large percentage,  be a burden on Canada and Canadian taxpayers.  His department is paving the way for a future EU-kind of  benefits dependent population and furthermore,  the influx of Muslim immigrants coming into the country on his watch should be a concern to everybody, even the supporters of the Minister.

Personally,  I think the Conservative govt. is trying to appease the majority of Canadians who just know that "BAD" immigrants and "WORSE" refugees are now citizens of this great country because of their own laxness .... by unleashing the various  fictional "tough immigration measures" that Jason Kenney so readily tells us he is taking .... while they continue bringing in Muslims from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Pakistan, India, Syria and from all over Africa.   The future does not look good for peace loving non-Muslims in Canada.

Andy Radia writing at Yahoo/Politics:
An immigrant can apply  to become a citizen three years after moving to Canada.
It's the final step in immigrating and, as opposed to permanent residency, allows people to vote and carry a Canadian passport.
But, according to an article in the Globe and Mail, more and more newcomers are failing the citizenship test since the Harper government made the exam a lot tougher..........

Will the new intensified sanctions stop Iran from fulfilling their doomsday dreams?

I don't think so and neither do millions of others.  I am very much against war and senseless killing, even if it meant millions of muzzies might go to fornicate with their neverending supply of 72 virgins which would be a good thing for us infidels, BUT, in the case of Iran's threat of a nuclear war, the only solution is to take the bold step of a concentrated missile attack(s) on any and all sites known or suspected of nuclear weapons proliferation.

Two writers at RightSideNews know that sanctions might hurt but they won't work to deter the Iranian regime from it's mad dash over the cliff:

A.Savyon says:
With  the looming intensification of Western sanctions against Iranian oil and Iran's central bank, which went into effect July 1, 2012 due to Iran's refusal to comply with the demands of the 5+1 to stop enriching uranium and due to the fact that the diplomatic track has reached a dead end and the positions of the sides are irreconcilable,[1] Tehran responded in two ways.
It took a dismissive and arrogant attitude towards the sanctions, stating, and convincing itself, that they would have little effect[2] and assessing publicly that the West does not want a military escalation.
At the same time, recognizing the magnitude of the sanctions' impact on it, it demonstrated its might with a controlled threat in the form of the "Great Prophet 7" missile exercise,[3] and issued conditional threats against Western interests in the Gulf, Western targets worldwide, and Israel.

Ryan Mauro writes:
The European Union’s embargo on Iranian oil went into effect on Sunday, July 1. Other countries cut back their imports. The regime admits it’s feeling the sting but is boisterously defiant. These sanctions are the toughest yet but they will only succeed in stopping Iran’s nuclear program if the regime’s very existence is threatened. The key question now is whether it is too late for sanctions to work..
The pain caused by these sanctions should not be dismissed. Estimates vary as to how much of the regime’s revenue comes from oil exports, with some saying its 50% and others putting it as high as 85%. No matter what the truth is, the Iranian economy was a shambles before these sanctions began. In 2010, the regime had to cut funding to Hezbollah by about 40% because of financial restraints. Plus, rising domestic consumption takes away from Iran’s oil exports more and more each year. Some studies forecast that Iran would have to cease all oil exports in order to accommodate its own oil needs by 2015........

Arab billionaires and Muslims dig in their heels in Britainistan ...

with full support from the Brits themselves, including the royals.  If you think they gonna let go of the big fish caught in their net, dream away.

Irvine Sellar, who developed the building with financing from Qatar, said The Shard is a “global building” and will leave a legacy for “centuries to come”.

The 1,016ft- tall skyscraper was opened by Prince Andrew, Boris Johnson, and the prime minister of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bid Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani. A laser show in London this evening will round off the celebrations.

The cost of the building The Shard and developing the surrounding area next to London Bridge station is estimated to be £1.5bn. It will be the tallest building in Western Europe.

The Qatari prime minister said The Shard highlighted the partnership between Britain and Qatar.
Sheikh Hamad said the Gulf state will remain a “solid partner” to the UK despite the financial crisis and Libor scandal tainting London’s reputation as a global financial centre.....

This is scary stuff ! Drones and even planes can be hacked mid-flight

Behold, our new world, all to  the benefit of  those who would want to wantonly harm the innocent.

Faculty and students at the University of Texas at Austin have proven that a sophisticated surveillance drone can be hacked mid-flight via its GPS. The same could be done with virtually any type of drone, or even with a commercial airliner.

Drones, or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), are used both domestically — particularly along our southern border — and by the military and the CIA abroad, especially in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and elsewhere. Last week, a small team of faculty and students was able to take control of a Department of Homeland Security drone by “spoofing” its GPS. They did what the Iranians appear to have done last December when they gained control over a U.S. Air Force RQ-170 stealth UAV and landed it in Kashmar, Iran. The Iranians then put the RQ-170 aircraft, with a damaged underside and repaired wing, on display. It seems that the Iranian pilot/operators were less than familiar with the airplane’s flight envelope and landing procedures than the UTA group, but still they managed to take control of it and to get it down on the ground relatively intact.

On May 9, a Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 slammed into Mount Salak in Indonesia, killing all 45 people on board. The plane, a demonstration version of the Superjet series, was on a promotion tour, carrying journalists and VIPs for a planned 30-minute flight. Alexander Yablonstev, an experienced pilot, was said to be familiar with local terrain. According to Travel Daily News, the air traffic control tower (ATC) did not realize that the plane was missing until at least 20 minutes after the crash. Recordings show that a flight request made by pilot Yablonstev was neither acknowledged nor answered by the ATC..........

UAE on it's knees begging Colombian soldiers to come save them from Iran

Money can buy anything, even Christian soldiers from Christian lands.  Where's the Arab bravado now?  No guts but lots of  money, but  I must admit they are putting it to good use.  The Sunni regimes are shiite scared of Iran and are trying to shore up their pathetic armies with mercenaries and every kind of killer available anywhere. To show you to what extent  hypocrisy runs in the Muslim blood,  check out  what moi has highlighted.  HAHAHAHHAAHH   ... Arab wimps have been brought to the level where their survival will depend on Christian women.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.     Love it, love it, love it !!!

The United Arab Emirates is seeking to enlist 3,000 Colombian soldiers in the oil-rich Arab country's armed forces, weekly Semana reported Sunday.

According to the weekly, 842 Colombian soldiers and retired soldiers have already joined the UAE army which is paying salaries up to ten times what the Colombian state pays the members of its armed forces.
The transfer of soldiers to the foreign army is causing unease among Colombia's military commanders because the military fears the higher salaries abroad are draining the army of its best men and women.

"They have recruited soldiers with a lot of combat experience, valuable men with years of service in which the Army invested a lot in terms of training," an anonymous general told Semana.
"Without a doubt, this is a loss for the army, but there isn't much we can do because it is by no means illegal," the military official added.

According to the weekly, the Colombians are making in between $2,800 and $18,000 in the UAE depending on the rank. In Colombia, a soldier earns $530 a month on average.

The New York Times reported in May 2011 that the UAE hired Colombian soldiers as mercenaries through a company led by Erik Prince, the founder of controversial private security company Blackwater.
According to a Colombian former colonel -- now in charge of recruiting compatriots for the UAE Army -- the 800 Colombians currently active in the Arab peninsula are not part of a mercenary army, but hired directly by the armed forces
.
"What is happening now is different than before. We are no mercenaries. The contract of the people who travel is directly with the government of the [United] Arab Emirates," the anonymous colonel said.....

Norway's killer Anders Breivik an admirer of Muslim terrorists

Yep!  It makes perfect sense !!!

Raymond Ibrahim writing at FrontPageMagazine:
Anders Breivik, who went on a shooting spree in Norway last year, killing some 70 people, recently confessed his inspiration: al-Qaeda, the jihadists par excellence of the modern world.

According to AFP, “The gunman behind the Norway massacres said he was inspired by al-Qaida as he took the stand Tuesday [4/17] at his trial…. he described himself as a ‘militant nationalist’ and, using the pronoun ‘we’ to suggest he was part of a larger group, added: ‘We have drawn from al-Qaida and militant Islamists. You can see al-Qaida as the most successful militant group in the world.’

Not only was he “inspired” by al-Qaeda, but his very tactics mirrored those of the jihadist organization. According to the AP, Breivik testified “that he had planned to capture and decapitate” the former Norwegian Prime Minister, with the plan “to film the beheading and post the video on the Internet,” adding that “he was inspired by al-Qaida’s use of decapitation,” which he described “as a very powerful psychological weapon.”...

...In short, whereas Breivik’s goals may have been anti-Islamic in nature, his actions, those things which we are rightly judged by—in this case, terror, murder, and planned beheadings—were jihadist in essence.

In honor of World UFO Day July 2

Update: Links corrected. Apologies.
A day late with this post ... but here goes.

Our ancestors, more than 37,000 years ago could draw better than the "artists" of today. Scientists dated the Spanish cave paintings  by measuring the decay of uranium atoms, instead of traditional carbon-dating, according to a report released Thursday by the journal Science. The paintings were first discovered in the 1870s. The oldest of the paintings is a red sphere from a cave called El Castillo. About 25 outlined handprints in another cave are at least 37,300 years old. Slightly younger paintings include horses....

And, what about the awesomeness of the Nazca Lines in Peru?  How could such huge geometrical etchings be done thousands of years ago?

How were the pyramids of Egypt built?  Why are we not able to build pyramids in our present day and age with our advanced technology?

Dr. Carmen Boulter formerly of    Educational Research at the University of Calgary, author of The Pyramid Code has some answers to a  lot of   questions.

What about the Gobekli Tepe, the new find of an ancient temple in Turkey which predates the pyramids of Giza?

Did you know that besides the Egyptian pyramids  and the Mayan pyramids   that Sudan is littered  with pyramids of it's own?

Were Earth's  ancient civilizations smarter than those of today?  Have we lost something of paramount importance?  Was there really a place called Atlantis and is National Geographic telling us  the whole truth?

Who was Edgar Cayce  and how could he remote view ?

Have we been visited by life forms from outer worlds?   Do we have remnants of the DNA from the superior ancient civilizations which were destroyed in a  flash of a cosmic disaster of some kind?
Were there really humans with supernatural powers known as the Annunaki who were revered as as gods?  Is there more evidence of  UFOs  in the   Hindu epic Mahabarata  then we are willing to admit?

Did giants walk the earth long ago or has each and every "discovery" of a giant skeleton been proven to be a hoax ?

So exciting isn't it !!   You might also like to visit the Skepdic Dictionary.    However, if you keep an open mind to everything and anything,  you will enjoy the ride into the world of UFOs and  mysteries and the unexplained.

Everything beautiful and mysterious that we want to destroy with war and death.

Oil money and 100M $ condos

So easy when you have the money funneled your way by infidels themselves to take over their properties and their entire country, piece by piece. So fucking easy !!!

The powerful prime minister of Qatar is ready to plunk down nearly $100 million for the city’s most expensive penthouse — an ultra-luxe, two-story pad atop the under-construction One57 condominium across the street from Carnegie Hall, The Post has learned.
Sheik Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani first eyed the spread after a Fifth Avenue co-op board rejected his bid to spend $31.5 million on two apartments owned by the late Huguette Clark, an eccentric American copper heiress, sources said.

“He decided to buy the One57 penthouse after the Huguette Clark rejection,” a source confirmed.
The stunning duplex penthouse features a “grand salon,” a large mezzanine, four fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, at least five bedrooms, and motorized window shades, Realtors said.

And he’s not going to stop there.
While negotiating to buy the 10,923-square-foot spread, Sheik Hamad also opened discussions with Extell Development about buying a cluster of four separate, full-floor condos in the 90-story One57 building, at 157 W. 57th St..........

The developers  selling block by block of America to the invaders.... just like how the UK had started doing about 30 years ago.

by not letting our tax dollars go to artists who glorify our enemies and demonize our soldiers.  This is just like how the majority of the members belonging to both the public and private sector Unions feel guilty when their money is  spent on projects and activism that they don't agree to in all good conscience.  This collective harvesting of our tax dollars for subsequent showering on the kind of activities that most taxpayers would NEVER ever want even to donate a dime to,  is unethical, macabre and very wrong.  It has to stop.

Ezra Levant writing at SunNews:
Does freedom of speech include the freedom of Canadian rappers to make music videos glorifying Taliban terrorist attacks on Canadian troops?

As odious as that is, the answer must be yes.

Manu Militari, a Montreal rapper, has done just that. It's almost as sick as the snuff movies allegedly made by Luka Magnotta. Of course, Militari didn't actually kill anybody. He just indulged his fantasy of it happening.

Which is about as sick.

But that's the thing about freedom of speech. We have to give it to people we despise if we want it for ourselves......

.....Once upon a time, there might have been a business incubator-type rationale for grants to artists. Equipment was expensive, marketing was expensive, life was hard - as it is for any other entrepreneur.

But those excuses for government intervention don't exist anymore. Anyone with a smartphone now has a high-definition camera. Anyone with a laptop now has studio-quality editing software. Anyone on the Internet can upload videos or sell their own songs on iTunes. Anyone who is promising can raise their own money through PayPal.

Technology has set us free - made it impossible to censor us. It has also made it unnecessary to subsidize us.

Militari doesn't need our $110,000. He probably could raise that much if he put up a PayPal button - it would be a big hit amongst Taliban and al-Qaida web surfers the world over.

HAHAHAHAH ... this is rich!! Saudi Arabia warns it's citizens about travel to Lebanon

HAHAHHAHAHAHAH   ... I am probably gonna die laughing at the stuff the men in white gowns and dish cloths say and do.  Never-ending laugh machine .... that's Saudi Arabia.  Just put a cent in the slot machine (internet) and out will come the clowns rushing at you.

All Arab Sunni nations are warning their citizens about travel to Lebanon.

The USA, UN, Israel and the Sunni nations are really and truly out to beat the shit out of the Shiites. Does it make you feel yucky that Israel has teamed up with Saudi Arabia?  I have to rush out now to buy a bottle of antiemetic tablets.

Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad al-Asiri confirmed Monday that Riyadh has warned its citizens against travel to Lebanon, citing recent security incidents in the country.

“The decision by the Saudi Foreign Affairs Ministry to warn Saudi citizens against traveling to Lebanon comes as a result of recent incidents of burning of tires, the closing of roads and security incidents in various parts of the country,” Asiri told the National News Agency.

Asiri’s comments came hours after the Saudi Press Agency, quoting a source at the Saudi Foreign Affairs Ministry, reported that the ministry had its citizens against traveling to Lebanon.

Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain have each issued travel advisories warning their nationals not to visit Lebanon and urged those who are in the country to leave, citing recent unrest.....

Muslims kill Christians, again on a Sunday and again in the midst of prayers

I wonder what would happen if Christians blasted away at the uplifted arses of Muslims and filled them up with lead while they were banging their brainless heads to the ground ?

"The meek shall inherit the Earth."   No ... you idiotic Christians, you won't.   Know why?  Because none of you will be around to collect  the inheritance.
"If you enemy slaps you on your right cheek, give him the left one too"   No... dumbos.  If you are a follower of Christ you seem to have conveniently forgotten, given that you have become cowardly and any excuse to not fight back will do, that Jesus went on a rampage hitting out at money lenders  and sellers of  depravity in the Temple.

...NAIROBI, Kenya – Masked gunmen sprayed bullets and hurled grenades at two churches in a northern Kenyan town on Sunday, killing at least 15 people and injuring scores more, police officials said. It was the latest in a series of attacks on this East African nation allegedly linked to al-Qaeda militants in neighboring Somalia.
The coordinated assaults unfolded in the town of Garissa, a predominantly Muslim enclave about 120 miles from the Somalia border that Kenyan forces have used as a base of operations to fight Somalia’s Al-Shabab militia........

Food Basics Toronto still leeching off 5c+tax ... for plastic bags

That's how it goes folks.  Once leeches dig their fangs into you, they don't fall off until they are fully sated and bloated with your blood...in the case of Food Basics Grocery chain in Toronto, they are definitely not done with you yet.

Shoppers Drug Mart has stopped charging customers for the bags and tell customers they can take a  donation instead if the customer so desires.  Now, that's common sense.  From now on I will show my appreciation by identifying the things I can avoid buying at Food Basics and buy those same items at SDM instead, if the prices are same at both.

Haven't visited   No Frills  or any of the Weston/President's Choice chains today.  Will post updates when I do.

What will the new Egypt bring to itself and other Muslim countries ?

Good insight and worth your time reading in full.

Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali, former Bishop of Rochester writing at TheTelegraphUK:
Egypt is going to be a test case.  A declared Islamist has been elected president and any parliament in the foreseeable future is likely to have an Islamist majority. Not only is Egypt the most populated country in the Arab Middle East, it also has the largest number of Christians in the region and a sizeable secularised middle-class in the cities. What happens there will have implications for much of the Arab and Muslim worlds.

So will it be another Iran, with minorities and professional people leaving in significant numbers, or is there a way of being Islamist that prevents such an exodus?
We must be wary of cosmetic gestures and false accommodation. Mohammed Morsi's promise of having a non-Islamist prime minister, with a Christian and a woman as vice-presidents, whilst welcome, says nothing about any Islamist system which may yet be put in place. It is good that he has had an early meeting with Christian leaders but it remains to be seen whether Muslims and Christians will continue to be regarded as equal citizens.

The key to answering some of these questions lies in the place Sharia is likely to have in a future Egypt. We should not be in any doubt that it will have a prominent role. Already, under the previous regime, and because of Islamist pressure, the constitution was changed from recognising it as one of the sources of law to being the sole source of all law. It is difficult to imagine an Islamist government settling for anything less. The question is what will be the extent of implementing such an understanding of Sharia, how will it be interpreted and what effects will it have on minorities.

Many observers of events in Egypt were surprised by the strength of Wahhabi-Salafism there. This group wants nothing less than a Saudi-style system with women behind the veil, minorities reduced to the discriminatory dhimmi status and harsh punishments for those who drink alcohol, dress "immodestly" or violate the sexual code of Islam. Any overtures in this direction will surely result in panic amongst Christians, the extinction of tourism and an Iran-like isolation of Egypt. Unlike Iran, Egypt cannot rely on oil and the new regime will have to weigh very carefully what impact its actions have on the economy........

Ugh !!! This is the reason why I hate everything to do with Kings and Queens and royalty

Forget about an assault on freedom of speech .... this kind of behaviour is an assault on your body and how your body parts are supposed to behave in the presence of royalty.  Where's my vomit bucket??!!!

The Duchess of Cambridge may be the future queen, but she has discovered that there are several women in the Royal family to whom she must show reverence. Mandrake hears that the Queen has updated the Order of Precedence in the Royal Household to take into account the Duke of Cambridge’s wife.

The new rules of Court make it clear that the former Kate Middleton, when she is not accompanied by Prince William, must curtsy to the “blood princesses”, the Princess Royal, Princess Alexandra, and the daughters of the Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

When William is with her, Kate does not need to bend the knee to either of them, but she must curtsy to the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh......
