Terrorists funded by "Christian" countries: “Today in Raqqa and tomorrow in Rome.”

Nice, eh?!  Not that I think the Italians won't deserve their fate.  Christians will deserve whatever they will get from the evil they have taken to their hearts and in their arms.

Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi writing at Joshua Landis' blog:
....Traditionally, a ‘dhimmi’ in Islam is a Jew or Christian who agrees to live under the authority of an Islamic state, agreeing to pay a ‘jizya’ (poll tax) and enduring a number of discriminatory conditions in return for ‘protection’ from the state. The Qur’anic basis for this arrangement is 9:29. In practice of course, the dhimmi pact, far from being a model of historical multiculturalism and tolerance as hailed by Western Islamic apologists such as Karen Armstrong, is actually equivalent to Mafia racketeering, as failure to pay ‘jizya’, whose financial burdens often proved heavy historically, leads to a loss of ‘protection’ by the state.

For the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham (ISIS), which has the backing of broad elements of classical Islamic theology in this regard, such a development comes as no surprise, as the group’s predecessors- Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) and al-Qa’ida in Iraq- similarly imposed jizya on Christians both in the Baghdad area (al-Dura neighborhood) and the north of the country. In Syria, the group has already imposed dhimmi terms in practice on Christians in Raqqa province, such as in Tel Abyad, where supposed violation of the dhimmi pact was the pretext for ISIS’ desecration of the Armenian church in the fall of last year.
Update 2: In case ISIS’ ambitions to a global caliphate were still not apparent to anyone, ISIS’ official Twitter account for Raqqa province had this to say on the imposition of the dhimmi pact: “Today in Raqqa and tomorrow in Rome.” Rome is traditionally seen as the Christians’ global capital.....

Muslims and Sicilians woven from same cloth?

If you have ever wondered how the Sicilian Mafia, known as having the worst kind of murdering bastards in the Mafia hierarchy, could kill so heartlessly and yet  profess to be peaceful Catholics, attend Sunday services and  contribute to the Church's coffers ... wonder no more.  Their DNA can be traced back to murderous Muslims.

Richard Tada writing at WeeklyStandard:
...A band of Muslim raiders  sacked Rome in 846 a.d., plundering the city’s churches and getting clean away with their loot. They had come from Palermo, in Sicily, which had been in Muslim hands for 15 years. Sicily was then on its way to becoming a predominantly Islamic and Arabic-speaking island, and it remained under Muslim rule for over two centuries, until the Normans conquered it in the late 11th century.

Expressions of astonishment that the land of cannoli and the Mafia was once part of the Islamic world may be forgiven, since this is the first detailed book on the period to be written in English. Leonard Chiarelli directs the Aziz S. Atiya Library for Middle East Studies at the University of Utah; among his scholarly achievements is detecting the presence of the heterodox Ibadite sect in Muslim Sicily. His book is comprehensive and reliable—if at times dry and lacking in eye-catching detail. This is due, in part, to his sources: There were Arab historians who focused on Sicily, but their works have not survived; thus it becomes necessary to cobble together references to Sicily from later Muslim historians whose primary interest was North Africa. The sole contemporary source is the Cambridge Chronicle (so-called because the first copy to be studied in modern times was held by Cambridge University), which tersely recounts events from 812 to 964.............

....The Fatimid caliph was determined to reduce Christians to second-class dhimmi status—subordinating them and requiring them to pay an annual poll tax. Thus, in 962, a Muslim army marched on the Christian town of Taormina, on Sicily’s northeastern coast. The residents resisted for several months before surrendering. They were then sold into slavery, and the town was resettled by Sicilian Muslims; Taormina itself was renamed al-Mu’izziyah in honor of the reigning Fatimid caliph. The Fatimids then defeated a relief force sent from Byzantine Calabria, and they took the last autonomous Christian community—the inland town of Rametta—in 965. Rametta was also repopulated by Sicilian Muslims as part of a deliberate Fatimid policy of accelerating Islamization by introducing Muslim residents into Christian areas.....

St-upid Paddies and their Allahu Akbar in all its gooey green glory

The Irish!!  Too much boozing does nobody no good.  Catholics are stupid, especially the heavy drinkers like the Irish.  The Scots are dhimmis too and so also are the Italians. And, don't even get me started on the rest of the fucks in that corner of the world.  Have I insulted enough people or should I carry on some more?   The more "Christian" a country the more it is the magnet for allahu akbars because they know that God was running out of  brain cells when he created most  Christians and  that their suicidal attitude of "me so good, me so nice, me gonna be kissy-kissy with all God's creatures be they headchoppers or not"  is like taking candy from a baby.

Plans for Ireland's biggest mosque have been given the go-ahead  by Dublin City Council for a site in the north of the city.
The six-acre site in Clongriffin will be able to cater for up to 3,000 Muslims during festivals.
One condition of the planning permission is that there is no call to prayer audible outside the complex.
The development will consist of a three-storey domed mosque with minarets, a conference centre, primary and secondary schools and fitness centre with swimming pool.
The mosque will cater for around 550 people for Friday night prayers but up to 3,000 for the festival of Eid.
Local Labour TD Sean Kenny said the vast majority of people in Clongriffin were in favour of the development.
He said he was glad that concerns about noise, parking and access through the site have been addressed.
The planning application was made by a group called The Dublin Welfare Society and it is believed that a benefactor from the United Arab Emirates is funding the project, which is expected to cost at least €40m.
The site, which is situated between Father Collins Park and Clongriffin DART station, is owned by developer Gerry Gannon and had been empty since the collapse of the property market.......

5Feet brightened up my doldrums-heavy day today

....In broken English, he asked my friend what he did for a living.

“When I told him I was a journalist, his face lit up. Then my wife found out he’d thought I’d said ‘janitor’ and was really impressed.”

My friend wanted help with his first garden, so he kept his mouth shut.
