In which muslims claim toys insult their whatever and the world's best inventors make yet another contribution
This bit of news on the anti-islam toy guns is me shamelessly fishing for your derisive snort of the day.
..."After the massacre of the congregation of Our Lady of Deliverance Church on October 31, 2010, and other attacks in Iraq, the ratio of Iraqi Christians went down from 8% to 2%; in Palestine to just .5%, and in Lebanon from 75% to 32%. If emigration of Christians, who constitute nearly 16% of the Egyptian population, continues at the present rate, it may reach 250,000 by the end of 2011, and within ten years a third of the Coptic population of Egypt would be gone."....
Sari Nusseibeh has done it again. In an article titled "Why Israel Can't be a 'Jewish State,'" published on the Jewish New Year of all dates, the supposedly moderate president of al-Quds University goes to great lengths to explain why Jews, unlike any other nation on earth, are undeserving of statehood.
Island with muslim majority, rioting for more - what else is new, eh? ...The driving force beyond Mayotte’s insistance on being given county status was welfare. French overseas counties enjoy exactly the same rights and the same welfare benefits as mainland counties, from free medicine to guaranteed minimum wages to child-rearing allowances. As a French postcolonial dependency, Mayotte was already much richer than its neighbors. It enjoyed a per capita GDP of $4500 in 2010 according to the CIA World Factbook, greater than Mozambique’s or the Comoros’ $1000 and Madagascar’s $900. As a French county, however, Mayotte is poised to get much closer to France’s comparatively staggering $40,000.....
Wow ... 12000 year old solstice site found in Virginia. Exciting read.
Fraud commited by an employee of our Embassy in Turkey? No, can't be, they must be wrong. We have only the good and decent in all our govt. agencies.... don't we? And, don't you know Muslims hate money. What are the chances that the "unnamed" embassy official is a Canadian of Turkish origin?
Andrew Klavan joining Beck's GBTV
Howard Rotberg writing at PJMedia: The Europeans — who are now tolerating “no-go” areas in their cities, where radical Islamist separatist justice systems and social and human rights injustices are also therefore tolerated — are now having to reap what they have sown. I’ve dealt with it myself. In 2003, I wrote a novel about a Canadian professor whose daughter, studying in Israel, is injured in a terrorist attack. He writes a book about how anti-Israel sentiment has begun to reflect a vicious anti-Semitism. I soon ran into Islamist attempts to censor me and my novel. ....
Bloomberg's police officers make money every which way just like their mayor. Who do you contact when you want an illegal gun? The NY police gun busters, of course.
Michael Totten does a lot of traveling. His revealing article here is simply 'awesome" and at the end of it you will start feeling sorry for a portion of the Egyptian populace whose dreams of "awesomeness" are now definitely on the chopping block given that the country will be fully shariahed in the near future.
Israel gives us the best inventors and scientists? This is why Israel should rightly get the big bucks from the USA. They sell their skills and brain power for the benefit of the world at large. Can any other people better the Jewish people in science, technology, discoveries or inventions ?

Stuff from around the world
Thank God for small mercies this warmonger didn't get to be the prez. Sen. John McCain said Sunday that military action to protect civilians in Syria might be considered now that NATO’s air campaign in Libya is ending.....
Dead people rounded up to a neat little number with a "0" at it's end every single time by our esteemed "paid big bucks" reporters. With 50 residential buildings collapsing, those must have been some palatial apartment suites with just 30 or less residents in each buiding and most of them out at the time of the earthquake for the death toll to be only "as many as 1000". As many as 1,000 people are feared dead after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck southeastern Turkey, resulting in the collapse of around 50 buildings in the province of Van.
The proud and arrogant can be brought down to their knees sooner than they think. Israel offers help but Turkey declines.
Somalian Al Qaeda cutter of heads wrecking havoc What else is new,eh?
Bangkok areas told to prepare for evacuation. No respite from flood waters.
Brace yourself for another downturn in the stock markets. Did you think the markets had recovered because of what you saw on Friday? The upticks are due to hedge sharks and shorters putting down their stakes for the expected downturn next week which will reap in huge rewards for those with that "disaster loving" mentality. The United States will likely suffer the loss of its triple-A credit rating from another major rating agency by the end of this year due to concerns over the deficit, Bank of America Merrill Lynch forecasts....

Simon Deng, former slave's message to the Useless Nitwits conference. .
Unbelievable that french fries would be out of our reach if the govt. got it's way.
Why is there an islamic history month in Canada and no month designated for Christian History, or Jewish History, or Buddhist History, or Hindu History, or Bah'aa History, or Zorastrian History or any of the multitude of other religions ? Canada is on the slippiest slope and going downhill at breakneck speed.
Shame on Israel says Dr.Pipes. Maybe the madness afflicting the countries around it has had a contagious effect. There are lots of people who think this was a fair exchange because it sort of proves that one Israeli life is worth 1027 of the worthless muzzies. That's missing the point altogether. It's a dangerous step that Israel has taken because now the IDF will be in much more danger than ever before. Hamas will be keeping their eyes peeled to kidnap another soldier because Israel has shown that it can be blackmailed and is able to overturn the rulings of their court system not once but 1027 times. Total shame.

News bytes from here and there
No more spitting on the generosity of Canada and Canadian values. No sirreeee !!! The Canadian government is due to revoke the citizenship of some Lebanese, who have obtained their citizenship in fraudulent ways and have intentionally misrepresented their residence in the country, a government official said Wednesday. “The Government of Canada is in the process of revoking the citizenship of approximately 2,000 citizens including some Lebanese,” Jack Branswell, an officer at the Citizenship and Immigration Department of Canada told The Daily Star.
Glenn Beck has his say re. the Labor Unions-incited protests.
As one ponders the fate of Yousef Nadarkhani, the Iranian pastor on death row for refusing to renounce Christianity, it is well to reflect that, for all the talk that Islam is perpetually "misunderstood," it is actually immensely predictable and consistent; not only do its patterns cross time and space, but their manifestations are often identical. Consider: Muslims have no qualms proudly declaring the particulars of their religion for all and sundry to hear—no matter how absurd or how it reflects on them or Islam. Thus talk about the legitimacy of adult "breast feeding," pedophilia as marriage, insistence that the earth is flat, commands not to yawn (lest Satan flies down one's throat), the salutary effects of drinking prophet urine, the need to execute the "infidel" Mickey Mouse, and any number of other oddities and perversities are regularly evoked by Islam's sheikhs and clerics throughout the Muslim world.....
I am posting this Sep 18 article from the Toronto SUN re. the "slippery slope" of prayers in schools, because you just gotta read the comment from "Leafyankee".

Other stuff you might want to glance at
Dr.Daniel Pipes tells us what many of us didn't know about Cyprus. Worth reading in full. ...Cyprus was hardly the only territory rife with ethnic tensions that London eventually abandoned in frustration – think of India, Iraq, Palestine, and Sudan – but it was the only one where it retained a permanent role for itself and brought in patron states, namely Turkey and Greece, as guarantors of the newly-independent state.
This mischievous arrangement heightened tensions between both the two island's two communities and their patron states. Those tensions boiled over in 1974 when Athens attempted to annex the whole of Cyprus and Ankara responded by invading the island, seizing the northern 37 percent of the island's territory. Greek annexation fizzled but the invasion led to the establishment of a nominal "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" (TRNC), which is maintained today by some 40,000 troops from the Republic of Turkey. Hundreds of thousands of settlers have since emigrated from Turkey, fundamentally altering the island's demography....
....A military council led by Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi is now in charge of Egypt, and it is resurrecting many of the tactics of deposed President Hosni Mubarak to instill fear and keep the citizenry in line, like using State TV to spread sectarian suspicion and conspiratorial talk of "foreign hands" sowing internal discord.....
Myanmar's newly elected civilian government announced Tuesday it will release more than 6,300 prisoners in an amnesty that could help patch up the country's human rights record and normalize relations with Western nations.
And, so it starts. One islamist govt already in power (NTC of Libya) recognizes another soon-to-be similar with NATO's help in Syria (STC).
Underestimation of the evil emitting from islam is the default mode with each and every Western govt. ...Von Mende was neither the first nor the last to have underestimated the Brotherhood or its leaders. In its 83-year history, the movement has time and again been written off as out of date, broken, or otherwise a non-force. Most recently, Western analysts of the Middle East upheavals were quick to portray the Brotherhood as out of touch and, basically, inept. U.S. director of national intelligence James Clapper reduced it to a "largely secular" movement while anthropologist Scott Atran argued that its "failure to support the initial uprising in Cairo on Jan. 25 [2011] has made it marginal to the spirit of revolt now spreading across the Arab world." News pages had similar coverage with the Brotherhood's absence in some Cairo neighborhoods seen as indicative of its declining importance.
Glenn Beck has this story about a car wash owner who takes $15 off your oil change if you can recite something from St.John or even just a simple "Jesus Loves Me" kind of quote. No kidding !!

Sarah Palin getting ready?
Fight for supremacy ... Saudi Evil against Iran Evil Clashes in Saudi Arabia. Of course ... blamed on Iran.
The beginning of the end of Obama and gang This will bring down the marxist gang faster than a speeding bullet.... I hope.
A senior Pentagon official Wednesday approved the first death penalty war crimes prosecution of the Obama administration — the trial of a former Saudi millionaire accused of masterminding al Qaida’s suicide bombing of a U.S. Navy warship in a Yemen port a decade ago.
Where the muzzies are, there's death. A truck filled with explosives barreled into a government complex in the heart of Somalia's restive capital Tuesday, a brazen strike killing dozens of people, including students registering for an education program
If Mary Riddell loses her job at the TheTelegraph, I am sure she will find one at one of our numerous leftie nitwit papers over here.
No more harems.
How Awlaki was found and killed.
Obama pally with black panthers. Pictures tell a sordid tale. Why is anybody surprised by this.
China and Russia don't want another NATO disaster. Good decision. There should have been more vetoes. NATO has no right to interfere in civil wars.

In other news besides the "I can't believe it" election in Canada
I have stopped looking at the polls ... they go against reason, common sense and logic. If the Conservatives don't get a majority, which majority I have predicted should happen largely thanks to Ontario, then I will go into a period of mourning which will last until the Conservatives are back in power. I refuse to believe that Ontarians have been so dumbed down that they would still vote Liberal or NDP even after all the madness we have had to put up with, with the Libs governing this province. If they are that dumb, then they deserve what they get.
1) Another arab dictatorship going down? Sultanate of Oman: ....At least 1,000 protesters have taken to the streets in Oman's southern port city of Salalah in one of the biggest pro-reform demonstrations since scattered unrest began in the Gulf Arab sultanate two months ago.
2) Bahrain: (This from Al Jazeera ....so it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt).
Security forces have seized at least eight health workers from two separate medical facilities in Bahrain, sources tell Al Jazeera. The Aali Health Centre in Manama was raided early on Tuesday morning, as shown in an image posted by an activist on Facebook. Medical staff working in the two centres were beaten and an unknown number were arrested.
3) Syria: This is a translation and as online translation go, it's not good .... but you will get the gist of what is happening to many of the injured taken to hospitals. Many of them are killed off by the doctors and other personnel royal to the dictator. Unbelievable. Do you think NATO will intervene? I doubt it !!! Not much to grab there.
WARNING: The video below is VERY graphic. The Arab League are sitting back and watching all these killings without lifting a finger and as usual will press the UN to get NATO to come into their backyards while cursing the West in the same breath.
4) Morocco: Thousands took to the streets of Morocco .on Sunday in peaceful demonstrations to demand sweeping reforms and an end to political detention, the third day of mass protests since they began in February
5) Libya: USA goes wading deeper in the arab cesspool and will, as usual, pull Canada with it. Why can't we just say "NO". The United States launched its first Predator drone strike in Libya on Saturday, the Defense Department said in a statement. It did not provide details on the target of the strike, saying only that it occurred in the early afternoon local time in Libya. Gates announced on Thursday that the unmanned aircraft would be used in Libya for Hellfire missile attacks on the forces of leader Muammar Gaddafi.
6) Kuwait/Iran: Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah of Kuwait confirmed . on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi that Iranian diplomats accused of spying have been expelled amid heightened Gulf tensions. “We kicked them out,” Sheikh Mohammed told reporters on the sidelines of a Gulf Cooperation Council-European Union ministerial meeting when asked about Iranian diplomats that Kuwait had said it would expel
7) The story of Mohammed Bouazizi, Tunisian street vendor. Dr.Daniel Pipes on how it all started. ....Twenty-six years old, unmarried, and the main provider for a fatherless family of eight, Bouazizi suffered from these predations. On the fateful day of December 17, he dragged his unlicensed wooden fruit cart loaded with produce as usual to the market at 10 a.m. Two police officers along the way — one of them Fadiya Hamdi, female, age 36, and an eleven-year force veteran — began helping themselves to his fruits.....
8) Lefty media ...they just don't know that it's time for them lay themselves down for their last rites. In my opinion, Leftism is a mental disorder which we have tolerated for far too long. If you want to let out a sarcastic guffaw, just read this garbage from the Guardian UK ... the title itself will make you snort: " Women have emerged as key players in the Arab spring"

9) Yemen: As many as 10 protesters were killed . A protest march was reportedly winding its way toward the state television headquarters when gunmen opened fire on the crowd and scattered the demonstrators......... by plainclothes government loyalists in the Sana’a, the Yemeni capital, on Wednesday, as a general strike paralysed economic activity in several cities throughout the country
10) Saudi Arabia : Authorities in Saudi Arabia have detained two Shi'ite bloggers .this week for taking part in demonstrations in the country's oil-producing Eastern Province, a Shi'ite website and activists said on Wednesday
The Sunni Muslim monarchy of Saudi Arabia, the world's top oil exporter and major U.S. ally, does not tolerate any form of dissent. It has not seen the kind of mass uprisings other countries in the region have over the past few months.

In other news besides the unwanted election in Canada
1) Can you believe this is the same Marcia Clark who was the prosecutor during the Simpson murder trial, which case was a prime example of justice denied to victims. Everybody and his uncle knew that the man was guilty....yet he walked away free. Marcia Clark did her very best, IMO. If you compare her pics from that time to the woman in the vid below .... it's stunning. I can't get over it.

2) Palin hater and rabid leftie John Cleese says that he no longer considers London an English city. Duh !!!! BTW, the same goes for Toronto.... it's no longer a Canadian city.
3) PajamasMedia has this exposure on the DOJ, where a source inside the DOJ, among other statements, said:
To say things are different under Obama and Holder would be an understatement. Many of the people I work with at Justice now see CAIR not just as political allies, but ideological allies. They believe they are fighting the same revolution. It’s scary. And Congress and the American people need to know this is going on.
scary times indeed !! via: ACT
4) The madness of the UK Britain is spending £1.4 billion a year on "badly targeted" ... and "patronising" European Union projects including dancing lessons for young Africans and a job centre in Mali that only found work for six people

5) Have you heard of a bride donning her wedding dress in the church aisle itself ? Waiting for the bride at the altar, Fr Tim Codling began to realise that something wasn't quite right when he saw her at the back of the church pulling her wedding dress out of a black bin-liner.....

6) No .... I am not mean enough to keep saying "I told you so" on second thoughts, why deny it ...yes, I am that mean and that nasty. So ... yup ... I told you so.
7) Taliban ... dear fellows, how's the killing going? Very well... sukhran for asking. Another suicide bomber murders five NATO and four Afghan soldiers. When are our boys and girls coming back to Canada from that hellhole? Let the blood thirsty "ordinary" Afghans who are no better than the Taliban, take on each other. Five NATO and four Afghan soldiers killed in Gamberi desert
8) Your friend wants to make friends with your sworn enemy. What do you do? You can sulk and you can fume but it won't do you any good .... because your friend and your enemy have the same DNA and you are an infidel and will always be an infidel. Case closed.
9) Hamas is a puppet of Iran... some select few making use of our brains, know that. Now Abbas declares it to the world...the dhimmi part of the world ...who will still remain dhimmi even if the truth is pushed up their noses. Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas said Friday .... that Iran has ordered the Islamist movement Hamas not to reconcile with its long-time foe and his secular party, Fatah
10) How's the killing going in Syria? Very well .... thanks for asking. Human rights groups say Syrian security forces used “heavy fire” against anti-government protesters in the city of Homs overnight. Amateur film posted on the internet purports to show events unfolding as the authorities tried to disperse the crowd.
11) And, how's the civil war going in Libya? Very well on both sides, many more dead bodies today, thanks for asking. Female Colombian snipers suspected of belonging to the Marxist guerilla group FARC are fighting as mercenaries defending Colonel Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, according to rebel forces
12) New kind of Criminal Offence? Never heard of anything so weird and sadistic.
13) If you mourn the loss of a loved one, you are mentally depressed. Capice ? So .... if you don't want to be labelled a nutcase, better not shed any tears for the loss of loved ones. Be like a robot. Human grief could soon be diagnosed as a mental disorder .”.........under a proposal critics fear could lead to mood-altering pills being pushed for “mourning
14) How's the killing going in Yemen? Very well ... sukhran for asking. Yemen ...At least one protester died . .....in clashes with security forces and plainclothes government supporters here in the capital on Tuesday.
