Egypt's oldest pyramid is 4600 years old

Committed a crime while trying to restore Egypt's oldest pyramid?  Oh oh .... the restoration company better  be careful or else that Sisi character might sentence them to death. Death sentences are becoming very common in Egypt under the new dictator.

Kelsey Campbell-Dollaghan writing at Gizmodo:
Egypt's Oldest Pyramid Is Being Destroyed By the Company Hired to Fix It

Saqqara, in Egypt, is the oldest stone complex ever built by humans—and within it sits the oldest pyramid in Egypt. It's a piece of irreplaceable history that's been crumbling for 4,600 years. But according to one local report, it's currently being destroyed by the company hired to "restore" it.

In fact, the company hired by Egypt's Ministry of Antiquities may have even committed a crime in its restoration. According to the Egypt Independent, preservation laws require that any new construction be less than 5 percent of the preserved structure. Instead, the company—which has reportedly never worked on a preservation project before!—constructed a number of new walls and structures that exceed the limit.

Now, that might not be such a huge deal. Buildings can be torn down. But according to activists speaking in the story, the new construction is actually contributing to the collapse of the pyramid, which is considered the oldest cut stone structure in the world.

You see, back in 1992, a major earthquake hit the region, and it nearly destroyed the pyramid. It sent "tons" of stone, broken free from the structure, down into the base, and created a "dome-shaped" void at its top, in the words of archaeologist Peter James, who says it was "liable to collapse at any time.".....

Qatar ... richly obnoxious

In the business world,  the Sunni Arab nations are buying up everything available from the nations around them and, of course, the traitors in the Judeo-Christian nations who will sell even their mothers for a profit, don't think twice about  selling whatever they can to the petro-dollar bastards.

From ArabianBusiness:
...A mystery consortium from Qatar and the UAE is reportedly preparing to table a world record bid of US$2.25bn for English Premier League football club Arsenal.
If successful, the deal would dwarf the current record of US$1.2bn, paid by the Glazer family for Manchester United, and would strengthen the Arab influence among Europe’s top clubs, with Manchester City owned by Abu Dhabi and Paris St Germain already by Qataris.
The consortium are believe to hope the huge bid – which more than doubles a 2011 valuation of the club – will be enough to tempt majority owner Stan Kroenke to sell.
The cash offer would reportedly see the investors bid around US$30,000 per share, making Kroenke’s 66.83 percent stake worth US$1.25bn, and would also wipe out the club’s US$376m debts.

From DailyNewsEgypt
...Employees at National Société Générale Bank (NSGB) are threatening to strike on Monday after the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority approved a mandatory tender offer made by Qatar National Bank (QNB) to buy 100% of NSGB, Société Générale’s Egypt operation, instead of the originally planned 77.17% stake.....

From ArabianBusiness:
...UAE investors bought almost €1bn (US$1.3bn) worth of commercial property in Europe during the second half of last year, according to international real estate advisor CBRE.
The investment accounted for 3 percent of the cross-border commercial property purchases across the continent during the six months....

Over and besides the above,  there are lots of rumors about the stinking rich Qatar looking to buy Egypt's  pyramids  and even the Suez canal.  Don't forget that governments are noted for putting out rumors to gauge the pulse of the people on issues that they know are controversial but if the idea is thrown around and discussed ... one never knows how things might develop.

Abdulrahman Al-Rashed writing at AlArabiyaEnglish:
....News about Qataris wanting to buy    the Egyptian pyramids was heavily circulated, and before that, it was said they had also made an offer to the businessman and deputy leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Khairat al-Shater, to purchase the Suez Canal.

Although this news was denied and alleged to be rumors, it is certain that the Islamist government is now facing a financial crisis to an extent that it is looking in its files to retrieve every dollar it can get, even if it includes reconciliation with persecuted and imprisoned businessmen on charges of corruption and others.

Hypothetically, the news of the new bids does not seem strange in light of this globalized world. Egyptian businessman Mohammed al-Fayed had bought Harrods, the most important store in Europe and a historical British symbol. He had managed it for a quarter century, before selling it three years ago to Qatar at about £1.5 billion. So what is the problem if the Egyptians sold the Suez Canal or the pyramids to Qataris who have enough dollars to solve the deficit of the Islamist government’s treasury?!........

The pyramids of Sudan

If the Wahhabis and Salafis and the  Muslim Bros  destroy the Egyptian pyramids, as they dream of doing just like the other Muslim madcaps did to the giant Buddhas in Afghanistan .... we will still see traces of the greatness of what once was Egypt in the pyramids of  the Sudan.

Owen Jarus writing at NBCNews:

At least 35 small pyramids, along with graves, have been discovered    clustered closely together at a site called Sedeinga in Sudan.
Discovered between 2009 and 2012, researchers are surprised at how densely the pyramids are concentrated. In one field season alone, in 2011, the research team discovered 13 pyramids packed into roughly 5,381 square feet (500 square meters), or slightly larger than an NBA basketball court.

They date back around 2,000 years to a time when a kingdom named Kush flourished in Sudan. Kush shared a border with Egypt and, later on, the Roman Empire. The desire of the kingdom's people to build pyramids was apparently influenced by Egyptian funerary architecture.
At Sedeinga, researchers say, pyramid building continued for centuries. "The density of the pyramids is huge," said researcher Vincent Francigny, a research associate with the American Museum of Natural History in New York, in an interview with LiveScience. "Because it lasted for hundreds of years they built more, more, more pyramids and after centuries they started to fill all the spaces that were still available in the necropolis."........

"Fire Eric Holder" and other stuff

"Fire Eric Holder" says Sarah Palin.

The shooting happened in a busy section of downtown Oakland adjacent to the Occupy an encampment where drug use is prevalent, and where devoted protesters have increasingly struggled to control fights and robberies and deal with mentally ill homeless people.

Councilman Ignacio De La Fuente, who has repeatedly called for the camp's removal, said, "Unfortunately, we will have no excuse for not taking action. This was escalating and was going to happen."

If you thought the conflict in Libya was over, think again.

If you decide to abort on a Sunday you get a $50 coupon for the murder.

Islam madness now seen more clearly in Egypt. A big Thank You goes out to Obama and Hillary, the architects of the cavemen era in Egypt and elsewhere.  Very soon they will demolish all the pyramids ... wait and see.
