Further on the new Cabinet

I don't know about you but to me the bedrock of the Harper govt. is of course himself,  Jim Flaherty and Jason Kenney.  To my eyes it looks like Harper has given Kenney the most ambitious mandate.....thus proving that he fully knows how important it is to have the best people in the most difficult tasks. Everybody seems to see it that way too,  but covertly.

From CBC:
....Jason Kenney is now the minister of Employment and Social Development, formerly known as Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
The new department will reflect the government's "focus on job creation" and "determination to improve how skills training is delivered."
Two junior ministers will report to Kenney: Candice Bergen, the minister of state for social development, and Alice Wong, the minister of state for seniors.
As minister of labour, Kellie Leitch, will also work with Kenney as some of her new responsibilities will overlap with employment and social development.
Kenney took to Twitter on Monday saying he was "delighted to be working with a strong team of Ministers.".........

From Globe&Mail:
Jason Kenney: The new Minister  of Employment and Social Development, Mr. Kenney has been a top cabinet performer and will have to bring those abilities to this ministry as it is transformed into more of an economic portfolio. His task is to align the many vacant jobs to the unemployed people who don’t have the right skills to fill them – something the Prime Minister sees as a major economic roadblock. That will require major changes in the way the department does business....
