Halal meat products and E.coli

Halal meat packers and E-coli outbreaks seem to go together. This incident(s) at the Pitt Meadows Meat Packers plant in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, makes me recall, as much as I would not want to, the incidences in UK where the moslem butcher or packer was adding a special spice emitting from his own body to some of the products he was handling.  Yup....you got it.  He (they) were arrested and jailed...but how do people dredge up the rot they ate from the place ?   I will not link to the UK incident(s) as it is just too yucky to even read about what they were doing over there.

Now, what are the chances of something as horrid happening in our own Canada? We have the same kind of moslems here who probably have the same kind of mentality. It's not a stretch of one's imagination to wonder if something on the same lines is going on at the Canadian plants where moslems are hired so they can work in the halal related tasks too.

This E.coli outbreak story is from Nov, 2010. Beef and lamb products produced at Pitt Meadows Meat Packers .in Pitt Meadows, B.C., may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7 and should not be consumed, warns the Canadian Food Inspection Agency

The contaminated products were sold at the following stores:
Bengal Meat Limited in Surrey,
Yaas Bazaar Mediterranean & Middle Eastern Food in North Vancouver
Shaista's Halal in Surrey,
Al-Safa Halal Meat in Burnaby
Madina Halal Meat in Burnaby
Country Meadow Meats, Pitt Meadows

The plant should be closed down.  What happened in November 2010 was serious because of the details that have been exposed today.

Today, the CBC reports that: One of British Columbia's largest meat processing plants covered up lab results that showed a sample of its product was contaminated with the deadly E. coli O157 strain, CBC News has learned.

The coverup came to light when Daniel Land, who oversaw the plant's quality assurance, contacted CBC News, saying officials at Pitt Meadows Meats Ltd. told him to keep quiet about the positive test result obtained on Sept. 9.....

The very method of slaughter for halal meats is highly unhygienic and I am amazed that the Canadian govt. allows this practice to continue in the name of multiculturism thus putting us unsuspecting Canadians at risk. And please don't be under the mistaken impression that these halal products are consumed only the moslem population. There are lot of places that sell halal stuff without you even knowing about it.

Not a good thing.

The Canadian govt thinks we the infidels are expendable.  As  long as the precious moslem Canadians are kept happy, everything's good and dandy.
