.....One was conservative writer John Derbyshire, who wrote a column for the online publication Taki's Magazine that summed up safety advice he had given his teenage sons over the years concerning blacks. These lessons included telling his sons to avoid black neighborhoods, to leave events where blacks were in the majority, and that a small but significant percentage of the black population hated whites enough to do them harm without cause.

For that, Derbyshire had his decades-long relationship as a columnist with the conservative National Review ended.

Several weeks ago, another such "firing" occurred, with Naomi Schaefer Riley sent packing from her role as blogger at the Chronicle of Higher Education for daring to insinuate that a selection of black studies dissertations with cringe-inducing titles, such as "'So I Could Be Easeful': Black Women's Authoritative Knowledge on Childbirth," might be "a collection of left-wing victimization claptrap."

Unlike Derbyshire, Riley was not banished to non-personhood in established conservative circles. Instead, she fired back from the op-ed pages of her previous employer, the Wall Street Journal, doubling down on her assertion that black studies departments were too politicized from their inception to be objectively academic.....

Germany's muzzies want to replace "man-made" democracy with "divine" Shariah Law

My colleague at Translating Jihad has fully translated an Arabic Al-Arabiya story entitled (pathognomonically), “ ‘Umar ‘Abd-al-Rahman at Forefront of Egyptian-American Prisoner Exchange Deal.”

If the crux of this story is accurate, it will represent a modern variant of capitulation to the anti-modern dictates of jihad warfare. Jihad, this ancient, but vibrant Islamic institution grounded upon hatred of the non-Muslim infidel, has long used captured infidels—including, prominently, non-combatants seized as “booty” during endless, unprovoked incursions into the lands of the infidel—to ransom in exchange for captured murderous jihadists.

Two of the park rangers are injured, in all probability due to the assault, but of course the special people are not charged with anything.

A melee broke out Tuesday afternoon at Playland Amusement Park when Muslim visitors became angry that the park was enforcing its ban on headgear by prohibiting the women from wearing their traditional head coverings on some rides.

Police from at least nine agencies converged on the park beginning at 3 p.m. after county police sought assistance in responding to the disturbance, which involved 30 to 40 people.

Two rangers were injured while breaking up a fight between visitors, and two visitors were charged with felony assault, police said. Another 13 people were arrested, most charged with disorderly conduct. Names were not disclosed, and all those charged were released by Tuesday night.

One of the rangers suffered an injured knee and the other an injured shoulder, said Deputy Parks Commissioner Peter Tartaglia.

The park was crowded with Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, one of Islam’s two major holidays. Most were from community the rules might not have been communicated by the organizer to some attendees....

So ..... our Foreign Affairs Minister was in Egypt making nice-nice with the new Muslim Bros govt of the new Egypt and failed to bring up the murdering of Coptic Christians, eh?! That was cowardly. I hope Canada is not flooding the Muslim Brotherhood gangsters of the new Egypt with our money so they can carry on doing more virginity checks on any woman who dares to protest against them.

Canada and the United States recently dispatched their top diplomats to Cairo to assist Egypt in making the transition to democracy. And judging from escalating sectarian tensions in the Muslim-majority nation, the governing military elite, which assumed power after President Hosni Mubarak was ousted by a populist revolution, needs all the help it can get......

.....On March 16th, Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met separately with interim Egyptian Prime Minister Essan Sharaf to discuss the transition process.

While both diplomats spoke in general terms about the importance of human rights, they missed the chance to publicly chide the transitional regime for failing to stem the rising tide of violence against the Copts.

"The protection of the rights of the individual and minority rights should be part of any evolving democracy, through its constitution, as well as through its practice and policy," says Dwight Bashir, deputy director for policy and research at the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, a bipartisan federal commission tasked with advising the U.S. government on matters of religious liberty around the world.

For decades, the Egyptian government has openly persecuted Christians. For example, says Bashir, the country's security services have interfered in Coptic affairs, obstructing the basic maintenance of churches and blocking building permits for new churches.

Islamic terrorists are an even greater threat to Coptic Christians........
