IMO, the usual suspect, is taking on more than it can chew. Nothing new with that.  Let me make an easy prediction here. Just like what happened in Syria, this is likely going to blow up in the Empire's face and millions of Venezuelans along with other South Americans are going to make their way, somehow or the other, to  the USA.  No wall will keep out people running away from wars and there is a large enough opposition in the USA to welcome the refugees.   Wait and see.
