If you thought everything was now calm and cool in Tunisia ....

this should change your mind.

From AP:
... Suspected members of a cell from the banned Ansar Al-Sharia movement were arrested Sunday by special units of the National Guard in Sfax.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement, the eight suspected members of the cell were planning a terrorist attack on vital institutions in the city of Sfax.

Members of the group were arrested after a blast that occurred earlier at a house in the locality of El Ain, Southern Sfax. Two members of the movement were in the house. One of them, who was making a home-made bomb, was injured in the explosion of the device.....

And, can you imagine if thousands of Tunisian jihadis had not made their way to Syria enroute to their 72 virgins,  how much more havoc they would have been creating in Tunisia these days?

From TunisiaLiveNet:
.... A Ministry of Interior official said that 1,800 Tunisians are fighting in Syria, but that those who have not killed anyone may be eligible for amnesty procedures.

Ridha Sfar, a deputy minister in the Ministry of Interior, spoke of the difficulties the country has in preventing its citizens from traveling to Syria through other countries.

“You cannot prevent someone who has a visa from travelling. Tunisians travel to Syria through Libya or through Europe,” Sfar told radio station Mosaique FM. He said that “nearly 1,800 Tunisians are in Syria.”..
