Shop this Christmas at Canadian Tire ... they are smart enough to spell CHRISTMAS

Here's part of what their flyer looks like for this week.

and here's a link to their flyer:   http://www.canadiantire.ca/home.jsp?site=WebStore

Stores to give a miss:
Best Buy a miss(check out comment in earlier Christmas related post)
Independent  (as per comment in earlier Christmas related post)
Metro (supermarket chain in Toronto and maybe in other parts of Ontario) give them a miss during all the time they do not have the word CHRISTMAS on their flyers.  Their flyer for this week has "Holidays"  .... not good enough.

I will be posting info on flyers I find here in Toronto every week from now on until end Dec.

I encourage my readers to check out their own flyers and let me  have info on what you see in your own Provinces.  We should give credit to the stores that acknowledge Christmastime for what it is.... Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ ... and the birth of Christianity.   If they are unable to acknowledge that fact then they do not deserve to see a single dime of ours being spent in their unholy stores this Christmas.

  1. If the PC'ness of "Happy Holidays" bothers you,as it does me, WHAT do you think of American TV personalities reference to the upcoming holiday (Thanksgiving) as "Turkey Day"?

I think this year I'll get a pin that says "Merry Christmas" and wear it whenever I go shopping, just to get the message across loud and clear.

I don't want to be wished "Happy Holidays",thank you.
