Has Malmo and Paris arrived in Toronto?

The police seem to be too quick to try and make a link between the arson and a "white man in his 40s with grey hair" but I for one am not biting.  One man couldn't have done so much damage in such a short  time. 12 cars set ablaze... according to one report ... and a house with extensive fire damage.
Luckily, the residents of the house (see pic) that was set on fire, escaped without any injury.

Zoe McKnight writing at TorontoStar:
.....Arson suspected after nine vehicles, house torched
Police described the scene as a path of destruction moving along Burnham Rd. Evergreen Gardens, Heathbridge Park, Windmill Rd and Nesbitt Dr.

By the time Doug Bryce smelled the smoke, the flames had already reached the second-floor bedroom where his 5-year-old was sleeping.
Bryce awoke around 3 a.m., thinking he heard a prowler. When he ventured downstairs, he could feel the heat coming from the garage. Opening an inside door he saw a massive fire that had grown while everyone was sleeping.
“The flames burst out, at which point we got the hell out of there,” Bryce said.

His wife Aurelie grabbed Violet, 7, Sebastie, 5, and Delphine, 2, from their beds “in the blink of an eye” while Bryce shouted at his brother Steven, who was sleeping in the basement guest room, to get out of the house.
Even in the dead of night, the street was brightly lit, illuminating its many grand houses. At one end, a car was in flames. At the other, so was Bryce’s house.
“It was quite surreal,” Bryce said. “This is Bennington Heights, the most peaceful neighbourhood you can imagine.”
In less than an hour, the home on Burnham Rd. in midtown Toronto became one of nine fires set by a suspected arsonist, who targeted mostly unlocked cars parked outside homes in the tony Leaside neighbourhood.........

Erin Criger and Marcia Chen writing at  680News:
....Police are looking for a suspect after a spate of car fires near Bayview and Moore avenues on Friday morning.

Emergency crews were first called to Moore, west of Bayview, around 3 a.m. and found several car fires.

Police said 12 vehicles and a garage on Burnham Road were torched. The residents got out unharmed, but police said damage could be in the range of “five or six figures.”.........

......He said a robbery at a local convenience store happened around the same time and could be linked.

“It appears that if [it] was the same party, they set the fires heading eastbound toward Bayview, which is where the Hasty Market is at Moore … and then did the break-and-enter, which is the time frame we have,” Sabadics said.
It’s alleged the suspect in that case stole lottery tickets and cigarettes and fled west on Moore.
He is a white man in his 40s with grey hair. He was wearing dark clothes, a dark baseball cap and yellow running shoes..........
