Libyan plane crashes in Tunisia

Libyan small aircraft carrying 11 passengers and crew crashes in Tunisia, killing all on board.  One of the top Libyan Islamist leaders and at least 3 others of same ilk travelling with him are dead.

From YahooNews:
..."The plane crashed at 1:30 am (0030 GMT)... with 11 people on board -- three doctors, two patients and six crew members," emergency services spokesman Mongi El Kadhi said.
"The whole plane was completely burnt out. The emergency services went to the crash site and recovered the charred bodies."
The plane was transporting Meftah al-Mabrouk Issa al-Dhawadi to Tunis from a military airfield near Tripoli for medical treatment, the Libyan government said in a statement.....

....Dhawadi was a leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) -- a now disbanded movement with alleged links to Al-Qaeda which joined the 2011 NATO-backed uprising that overthrew dictator Moamer Kadhafi........

And in other news... the civil war continues merrily in NATO's Libya:

Libya militias give Tripoli leadership ultimatum to quit.
Libya’s powerful Berber militias from the town of Zintan gave the interim parliament a five-hour ultimatum to dissolve on Tuesday, threatening to kidnap any lawmaker who ignored it.........

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan said a "compromise" had been reached with ex-rebel militias who had given Libya's interim assembly a deadline to hand over power.
Zeidan said the deadline had been extended by 72 hours but did not give further details of the compromise, telling journalists only that "wisdom has prevailed" after discussions with representatives from the militias, the assembly and the UN..........
