Kurdish Women Fighters


In my opinion,  when Kurdistan is fully recognized as a nation among nations,  it will become a very successful country because of the gender equality they are accustomed to unlike other Muslim lands.  In a recent news item it was reported that Kurdistan's PKK army is made up of 40% women fighters.  Married women or women with kids  are not permitted to be in the PKK.  You will notice that many of the females look mannish.  Make of it what you will.
