Husband charged in the murder of his husband


In another decade or  so, or maybe even less,   braced yourself for seeing headlines like "Woman marries Woof the pet dog"  or "Man and Donkey tie knot"   or  "Rider and horse to marry soon"   or  "Dingo ate his blonde bride."  Yeah ... I know you think I am an obnoxious little bitch.  Maybe so .... but  I am a  far-sighted obnoxious little bitch.

Toronto murder house proceeds kept from accused husband killer.  A Toronto lawyer charged in the murder of his ex-husband has been blocked from collecting a share of the proceeds from the sale of their home.
A Toronto lawyer charged in the slaying of his ex-husband has been blocked from collecting a share of the proceeds from the sale of a home the couple shared.
Demitry Papasotiriou is charged with first-degree murder in the 2011 killing of his estranged spouse Allan Lanteigne, who was found dead in the entryway to their home at 934 Ossington Ave.
Superior Court Justice Susan Greer ordered Papasotiriou’s portion of the proceeds frozen pending a further ruling after the dead man’s family filed a motion with the court. The family is seeking to prove that Lanteigne, a 49-year-old University of Toronto accounting clerk, had an interest in the property......
