In my area of Toronto, we SUFFERED for six LONG hours. Yeh, I know ... that's laughable ... but that's how much pampered and dependent on the niceties of comfort we have become. Even six hours was hard to take. There are some areas of Toronto where people are still without power so I consider myself pretty lucky to have been without for only six hours.
The heavy downpour in Toronto and vicinity started at around 4 PM and within two hours several
parts of the city were flooded.
